We are on the same level when it comes to the type of boats we are interested in and now I just retired and thinking about starting a cruising lifestyle as a old solo sailor. Every time I’m looking at older or used boats I keep finding myself falling back on your older reviews and just love them!! I sure hope you folks are okay and still planning on that cruising lifestyle as well. If not I’d love to hear what’s changed your minds before I jump in head first… miss you guys and take care!! Oh and by the way I’ve been riding EUC for 5 years now and use them for everything!!! Grocery shopping, running to Home Depot picking up my car, dropping my car off at a auto shop..
If you come across a halman horizon in deep blue. It was our family boat. She’s a cutter we think she’s in cobourg In the early 2000s She was called mistress quickley. Ty. I have a photo if you think you might know where she’s docked or on a cradle.
Didn't hear mention of weeds and shallow areas in the Bay of Quinte. That was our true nemesis in this area. We were so loaded up with weeds in the Murray Canal tha we couldn't keep up with the boats in front of us (which bridge operators request you to do to minimize open bridge time).

We went through a bridge in Tasmania (Australia) where payment was a six pack of beer. 😂
