HI, as someone already pointed out, FFT stands for Fast Fourier Transform and using the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) converts the analog, time based audio into a frequency distribution curve that you see on the screen. Love yours and Gregors work - keep it up. Cheers, John from Down Under.
I’m ready to try this with my current project. I don’t know if I’ll understand everything it tells me, but next week I’m going to sit with the engineer who’s going to master my song, so it might be helpful to get a start on 5his. He’ll use Pro Tools and I use Studio One, so I’ll have that variable as well. It’s a learning process.
It's always good to see what you are hearing. I have used a third octave analyzer since the 1980's for live sound, and things go really quickly to dial things in, particularly with onstage monitors that feedback, so I can grab the CORRECT frequencies without guessing. Just like in the studio for sure. Thank you for your information. I hope that people will listen to your words of advice. 👀👩🦳
I use the level meter plugin on every track in a mix to gain stage. Because your signal can be clipping and you wouldn’t know otherwise. It also has a tiny phase meter too and is super cpu friendly🙂👍
Hi PreSonus, is it possible you add % swing same as is in Cubase where you select audio events, then select timing and then can quickly quantize swing by 1% on the fly seeing results instantly and not only by 10% like we have now, because it's tedious. Please implement this feature in next update. Thank you.

Why can't we have rms/peak meters on each channel like PT?
If you right click on the meter in the mix window, you can select Peak/RMS!
