Mine is a 'Kit Wheel' from 1974. I bought it in '78 and have spun more than two thousand pounds of yarn on it. Still using the original band! It is a utility wheel for sure. I have been spinning with my Haldane Orkney wheel and plying with my Ashford for the last two years.
just bought one of these at auction, came with 8 bobbins but missing drive band and scotch tension set up but apart from those easily fixable things, the wheel looks in perfect condition, Spokes on wheel are exactly the same as yours,, seems like that is one of the ways to date them.
I have one without the label as well. Mine still has the leather bobbin holders. They seem to be going ok so far. I'm assuming it's a sixties or seventies model but i don't really know. She is a lovely wheel. Nice temperament 😊
