This is the best English language song cover. It's incredible. I played it at work it's the first Japanese song that people liked. They liked some of the other covers too but this is the best we all agreed. Also Linkin Park and The Misfits covers. But playing English covers is the first time they liked Japanese metal. I played all the covers today. Japanese metal should be huge in America. So many rock/metal fans. But it isn't. Not even a little.
Have been depressingly, yet optimistically busy working, and glad that you all are doing the same with more great jam vidioes. Haven't commented on any of the multitude of subsribed channels and could not pass by this particular tune. Before commenting further I must add that I selected a cover tune instead of the band's originals because I automatically and accurately know they are fantastic and I also can karaoke by heart. The opening was incredibly cool, with the air-playing bit and it flowed perfectedly to the conclusion. I noted with ample sorrow the release poster with its special date, because of the ongoing worldwide problems, that we are all dealing, with in our own ways and means. As I listened and sang, I believe the ending verse was changed to say 'if she ever hurts you' and had a pleasant giggle because I am fortunate enough to own a mindset that makes that impossible, even if I cry like a baby from time to time: like not traveling anytime soon, nor spending my resources the way I would prefer. Nonetheless I have been endlessly cheered up by a song that is supposed to strike some sorrows when a person forgets the lines about true love and its empowerment. P.S. glad you all are jamming and hope for a bright happy day and also ask that you have a considerate thought for an unrelable fan...when it comes to postings and purchasing.
I'm sure most people didn't get that reference. As soon as the video started, I was laughing because I'm old enough to remember watching the Journey video on MTV.

Random dude walking through the shots, Mayu with her sleeves pulled up all “tough guy” style, the air instruments and Tamu literally rocking the paper cut out cop mustache! All while knocking this cover out of the park. I LOVE EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THIS BAND!🤣💪🏻🤘🏻
I think it's easy to always look fantastic when your beautiful to begin with. Now the editor would have a right job on his hands editing me to look good. Girl on the guitar with the bin is just about perfect looking IMHO, hell I'd buy all of them a drink, who'm I kidding LOL
WOW Journey That was totally unexpected .Tamu on her new kit with the the paper mustacho. Mayu belting it out and those girls actually made me feel emotional with the way they made the guitars sing like that .They realy are fab with every thing they do much love .
Mayu has such a cool voice with a crazy amount if depth and range of skill. It's like she was born for rock and metal. This is way better than the original version.

この曲が発表された1983年頃、オリジナルのMVご存知の方も多いと思いますが、なんじゃこりゃ？という支離滅裂な作品、他にも山ほどありました。Journeyのメンバーも二度と見たくないと言った問題作を、彼女たちがやってのけると大笑いしながら感心できてしまうのがこのBANDのすごいところです。.
Tamu got so into the role that she not only grew out a mustache, but she also plays traditional grip instead of matched grip. Impressive.

当時16でしたｗ 18の頃、生バンドが来るパブでウェーターとして働いていて
閉店後(AM.2:00～4:00)ウェーター仲間でこの曲を演奏して遊んでましたね★(俺はドラムでしたｗ)
その店は平尾昌晃(最近の若い人は知らないだろうがｗ)監修の店でして
PAなんかも完備してた。平尾昌晃来店の時は開店前にオーディションする事もしばしば。
店に出入りしてた生バンドは4つあり、みんな将来プロデビュー目指してたんだか
未だに名前すら聞かないところを見ると・・・(悲)
まぁ現実はそんな甘くないって事で＾＾；
冒頭からエア演奏とか 2:56 のところや収録中なのに(勿論演出で)人が横切ったりとか
OriginalのOfficial Videoを彷彿させてイイですね！
