6 months ago I passed green stripe, doing Do San.. There was a grading last week, but I couldn't attend because Dad was isolating on the day of the mock, so I couldn't go to the official grading.
BTS is everywhere hahaha I wish my uniform have BTS one the back also hahaha

For me thats the first pattern for the Green belt, I'll tell you how it is here:
White, 1 yellow strap (if less than 10 years old: 2 yellow straps)
Yellow, 1, 2.
Green, 1, 2.
Blue, 1, 2.
Red, 1, 2.
Black

I remember learning that pattern when I was like 8. I'm 33 now lol. Hard to believe I managed to get to red belt in a year or two I was training. There's still some muscle memory from kicks though hahaha.

No chun jee comes before this form

Looks very similar to Chon JI, just a couple of extra moves.
ITF patterns are for me the real Tae Kwon Do, WTF is just politics
way more moves than Chon Ji (rising block, reverse punch, kick)

And I'm only yellow one and it's quite difficult but yellow belts do more blue belt than yellow

Black (which is the same as yours) 1 - 9

I just started with taekwondo. I've done karate in the past for about 10 years. It's similar but the stances with karate are much lower, so I really have to get used to these higher stances.
What do you enjoy more taekwondo or karate?
@@barrymichaels2663 I like karate more. There's more variety to it. A lot more arm techniques etc besides just kicking. Teakwondo is mostly about kicking, and also mostly one specific kick. I also enjoyed the lower stances and big moves more than the techniques at taekwondo.
There are two traditional forms which are lower, and higher in Korean karate. Look up taekwondoanimals shows all the forms.
Gosh, I'm never gonna get this form. Master showed me 6 times today and I was still lost. Smdh
Garden Warrior don’t worry LOL I’ve been doing tang soo do for seven years and we had belts in between belts now I’m on brown. But I’m also just now starting taekwondo and I have to start from white if I don’t memorize all the forms until brown. I have a month to memorize them💀

Not quite, if it's a WTF Standard then he would be taught the correct way how to stand with legs and how much he should have it bent, but he got all the moves correct.

Daft question possibly, I left the martial art about 5 years ago and got to red belt black tag and was training with the British squad but due to other commitments I couldn't continue with the art. I'm wanting to go back and was wondering would I be able to get my belt back or start from the beginning again? Any advice would be greats.

If you have your WTF certificate of rank then you should be able to continue at the same rank when you provide it to your new school.

I'm a Brown Belt, all those moves are from WTF taekwondo and the moves his doing, its correct but his legs aren't correct since his place didn't taugh him the correct way to stand and bend his leg.
