As he's gearing up for what most people would say is his biggest fight to date, Gervonta met up with Speedy Morman at Resorts World in Las Vegas to get some things off his chest. Speedy is a really good interviewer. Good questions, good follow ups, doesn't step over the guests, etc. There needs to be more like him.

Tank is so level-headed. The fact that he keeps saying this is a 50/50 fight shows just how serious he is taking this and taking Ryan. I'm honestly a fan of both but following this fight closely, I've started to like Tank more. He just seems more humble and experienced.
I could honestly see this fight going either way but I got Tank in 8. Either way, respect to both these men putting everything on the line. One of the fights of our generation for sure.

You can tell Tank is genuine because you gives the same exact experiences with the same detail every time. That speaks volumes on his character and being honest as a person.

They had excellent chemistry in this interview I would’ve thought they been known each other but these are my exact thoughts as well. For a guy to really come from nothing Tank seems like such a humble guy! Seems like he’s just following God’s path. I like how he always sounded shocked or surprised seeing people support him. It shows he’s really grateful and just living in the moment.

I love that Tank takes his fights serious and he understands the moment. 90% of the fighters talk about how there going to do this and that and get clapped.
I appreciate you realizing the definition of Real Gs move in silence most these fighter go from interview to interview saying they gone do this and that being animated just to be embarrassed or have a bad performance tank does the talking in the ring ‼️‼️‼️‼️when the time comes

Happy for Tank. You can feel from the first press conferences etc that it is not a natural thing for him to talk, to express himself etc.. but the improvement he's making are getting noticed! So much respect for this young man, the world at his feet but balances the element of swag, humility and confidence so well that it is never irritating, he comes from a tough background and you can tell he has been around the street life and probably still is at times, but realises that perpetuating that narrative is a bad look for those looking up to him so keeps it under wraps but is still true to who he really is, reps his people and community every single time!!!! how can you not root for this guy 👏

Truly a humble individual who crashes into innocent drivers and flees the scene of a crime. He draws gunfire and crowd fighting at his live events. Keeps it real about domestically abusing his girlfriend. I'm sure people are convinced he is such a beacon of positive spiritual principles.

I think people are underestimating Ryan, he has real timing and speed, but Tank's boxing IQ just seems on another level. I think Tank learned from Floyd. If you watch Tank's fights he just downloads information on all his opponents first few rounds, just like Floyd, and then dominates in later rounds alongside his conditioning and power.
Even in this interview, you can hear him talk about him studying Ryan, and how he even be watching old Floyd fights on the way to his fight nights. He's a real student of the game.

This is where you really have to respect Gervonta. Gervonta said this was a fight you don't won't to bring the family on both sides. This shows he respect Ryan as a fighter where he felt he can lose or he can be badly injured or vice versa for Ryan. This is a person that care and have good sportsmanship.

Great way to carry himself and to repercent the sport. He is a great example of what a fighter is and should be like. The sport is not a game a fighter could be humble. But he or she needs to have that dog in them also, and with Tank, it shows. Can't wait for the twenty 2nd.
