same!! which mario kart is your favorite? im actually not sure ive ever played the wii version (i think maybe once or twice) i did have a wii and i also did get a switch but still havent played mario kart 8 cuz the switch is not like i thought it would be, i got bored of it so quickly and everything about the console and games just felt so corporate and soulless to me :( i have such fond memories of playing MK 7 on my nintendo 3ds and its most likely still my favorite MK, i have to say the more pixelated graphics of the nintendo 3ds-2ds games are just so nostalgic to me and im so sad everything is more “realistic” now on switch especially for pokemon games. but i really don’t mind the better graphics of mario kart 8, i didn’t know they kept so many of the original maps of MK 7 so that makes me RLLY happy and i might get the game now :-) but still mk 7 is unbeatable imo, although there’s def some improvements in controls/mechanics, but im not sure whether i would prefer playing on a controller

The sound box can be used to spin your opponent’s out or to deflect the blue shell when you’re in first
yess more mario! i love that franchise & im enjoying this vid and the mario party one!!
Some tips:
Hold down the acceleration button when the countdown is at 2.
Shake your controller on jumps for a boost.
Motorcycles with monster wheels drift the best.
Go right behind someone to catch air off of them and get a boost.
If you have shells rotating around you, you can get close to another player and the shell will hit them or you could hold onto them and if someone throws something at you, it acts as protection.

You have to break drift when you play 200cc and also for some turns in 150cc like the big turn at the start of Rainbow Road which is why you kept falling off
