In the name of Allah the most high and merciful
Quran: At-Tauba (9:100)
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَٰنٍ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى تَحْتَهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
The Pioneers-The first of the Migrants and the Supporters, and those who followed them in righteousness. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will abide forever. That is the sublime triumph.

If salt water and fresh water didn’t mix then the oceans would be full of fresh water by now. Millions of years of rivers flowing in to sea would have pushed the salt out of the seas.

I have no idea how you can come to the conclusion that this Quran verse is talking about the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans
The ancient people traded goods via the sea, hence it would be common knowledge to any Sea Farer at that there existed 2 bodies of water that didn't mix. There's nothing miraculous about that knowledge. This was the 6-8th century AD we are talking about when we already had Ptolemy's and Roman maps existing for centuries before that time.

18:00 Arul I am from Bombay India. We have a hilltop where the Basilica of mount mary is located in Bandra. Down below is Sea Rock Hotel. I know there is a spring that comes from the hilltop with sweet drinking water. But its a very small pool. I have drrunk water from this pool. In the sea when there is no tide. I know Dhobi would wash clothes there. I do no know if this spring of sweet water exist now 18:11
It's a spring water source that's near the ocean that you're talking about. It's not sweet sea/ocean water from the sea/ ocean.

As long as no one has stopped or prevented the flow of water, which is usually coming up from springs in the ground or runs down from a mountain from a river source that regularly floods and that gets filtered by sand stone and minerals in a small stream to a pond, natures best filter system for beautiful clear running water with added minerals and sometimes herbs along the way. Not as many natural springs like before due to housing developments and drilling for gems like opals and so on. I grew up in Croatia on the coast and there's caves with springs and ponds that have clear fresh water. Some beautiful sites similar around the world, we are blessed to have experienced God's wonderful creation.
