From the early days of San Diego all the way up to X Games Austin, Doyle managed impressive finishes all the way up through 2015, when he took the bronze medal in Austin. Now working behind the scenes at X Games for BMX events, Doyle reflects on his time in the BMX spotlight at X.

Chris was always my favorite, his smooth real down to earth style proved that you didn't need the craziest trick to podium. Just show that you can progress in being flawless other than a squirrely landing after a flip whip

Love Doyle and how he's always been a genuine guy. Going to Iraq to perform together was amazing. I am still sad that it's frowned upon or judged to "train". I am glad Chris pointed that out and why he chose to prepare for a meaningful event. I love these videos!

Just noticed the 1998 Xgames started on the birthday I got my first bmx bike. 2 years later I saw Doyle win his first overall DK Dirt Circuit title in Vagas.

I was at those X Games in Mission Bay. That was so awesome. Met most of the athletes like Tony Hawk, Sandy Carson, Brian Foster oh and the former actor Michael Clarke Duncan who is sadly not with us anymore was there with The Armadillo from the movie Armageddon.

I used to know this guy wayyyy back and he was super cool and humble even though he was hands down the best at the trails.
