The day after my daughter, Lacey died on April 14, 2018, my son, Dylan Mathes was sitting in his room crying. I came upstairs to his room to comfort him because he had been holding it all in. He was the closest to my daughter. Lacey did everything with her two little brothers (Austen 22 now & Dylan 20 now) and her fiancée when she was alive. And now everything came to a complete stop for them. She taught them how to be positive with life itself and to love each other. I truly believe God called her because he needed her. You see I have 6 kids, 3 girls and 3 boys. Lacey was the youngest. She had been dating her fiancée for 9 years. He finally proposed to her and they were to be married until all of this happened. She had been dreaming the same dream over and over again that she broke all the bones in her body for a solid week before her death. She gave all of her clothes and makeup away that week and she had an out of body experience which really freaked her out. I guess God was calling her and the Blessed Mother came to get her. When I went up to Dylan's room, he told me about this song, You are the Reason. He never expressed anything like this before. He played it for me and it was you that brought the words into a true meaning of how he felt and wanted to make things better hoping he could bring my baby girl back. You see my son looks a lot like you except he is much younger. I wish my oldest daughter, Melissa Mathes, could sing that song with you. She is a singer like you only she has not made it big yet and maybe she won't but it would be nice if she could one day. She has been singing all of her life.
