13:33 Longsword was the funnest thing I found in the game, however it is Dark and Darker so some hits just straight phase through the sword even though it should have hit. Like you can see again, at 15:20 that he should have been able to block that, and similar things apply to most weapons even some of the slower ones like the Barb primaries.....

Random mrket tip: when filteriing for items for example the rapier, you can set the "static attribute" filter to weapon damage, and it will show you the base weapon damage on all the rapiers so you can look at only the ones with max damage

I was the longsword fighter, I played that so bad. For some reason I thought you had arming sword there and went for the parry
to be fair u got robbed on that short sword parry. it phased thru and then u commited to turning around. different fight if that registered. he also showcases it in the prelobby. longsword is a cruel mistress to main lol

I've been telling people about this build. i even had an epic moment where i beat a full plate fighter as a ranger with this combo. we were pretty evenly geared and my movement speed allowed me to dance around him like he was moving in slo mo lol. also, that wizard hit you point blank in the face with an ice bolt. the damage at point blank range is crazy and getting that 1.5X damage from the headshot... i'm kinda shocked it didn't one tap you.

Also rapier is a sword so if you have sword mastery it adds the 2 weapon dmg
Go full rogue and do Rapier + Stiletto. Stiletto for burst/close up and rapier to dance with people in the melee. Super high DPS/damage/speed

I've seen you build DEX builds many times, but I never build DEX as a primary statline, if something happens to have DEX then it's ok, but like I still just preferr building VIG, true dmg and AGI/speed, this goes for my ranger, rogue and fighter, I feel like full DEX stack makes me too slow or too squishy

I do a dex build with as much max health/%max health as you can. I'm up to 184 hp with like 35% dex because I sacrificed a bit of dex to get up to 30% power...actually gross kit for using either falchion or arming sword. I bet using a rapier would also be sick with how much true dmg I run.
Update I got Kuma Claw and I’m running it with cyclops crystal. I’m doing like 28 magic to the head, and 148 phys or something…actually disgusting. Highly recommend.
lol i did this same build but with adrenalin rush a few weeks ago i got to kill one other fighter then got franny'd to death by a barb.. it was fun while it lasted though.
Does anyone know if the Undead Slaying bonus that silver weapons get transfer to your secondary weapon? Like if the short sword was a silver one does that mean the Rapier gets that undead slaying bonus too since you’re holding it next to the rapier? 🤔
Good question! I don’t think so. Since using named weapons doesn’t transfer over it’s magnificent powers, I don’t think the static undead bonus would apply! I might be wrong

This might be a stupid question, but how do you always have 10k plus to buy kits with? Do you just farm gold in between vids or are you getting it all from PVP?

Every night I list all the items I earn and undercut the market by 2-300g. Very fast way to make gold even though you loose gold. If you are in a clutch then undercut the market. If you can wait then for sure get that long term gain on the gold

tons of these build videos don’t prioritize flat add/true damage enough, flat damage scales way better than power/strength especially on high dex faster attack speeds like daggers rapiers etc

Imagine how much more you could loot if you would commit to a single ranged weapon.
5:04 Combo Attack is not very good tbh. It requires you to connect 2 melee attacks (the 2nd procs the buff, but that same hit does not get the buff) before getting a 10% physical power bonus. Since you are using slayer with most engagements lasting 2 hits anyways, it really doesn't have the much value for your slayer builds imo.
It probably would have some value on a lower base damage build like this one, but even then you hit so hard that the third hit probably kills in most instances anyways.
The real mvp was the windlass

You talk about how good windlass is (it is) after killing barb at the end, but you didnt even hit him, he was just that low. (no bolt in his inventory)
The windlass bolt goes straight through them and out the other side
I didn’t go back and check if it actually hit, but the bolt wouldn’t be in inventory with windlass

General chat is a thread in the dark and darker main discord channel. Known for being a very toxic channel full of people complaining about the game. People cry a lot in there lol
this is just residual, we never actually balanced the weapons, so fast and light, on a class with health and speed= broke AF. Not that it matters anyway, the real star of the show is the gun, I mean crossbow.
