This is a narrated video about the Canada Line - and some of the nearby amenities, landmarks, and available connections from the fifteen stations in the cities of Vancouver, Richmond, and on Sea Island.
I had intended to make a production like this in 2009 with the line's opening, but due to considerable errors with the footage (and it was only filmed in 640x480 resolution) demanded that I abandon the project until much later, recording the footage all over again with a newer camera in a higher resolution.

I felt in love with this metro· It's SO good-looking, automatic, and this 2-car metro is the ideal solution for many cities around the world between 175k~750k inhabitants that have transit/traffic issues·

Hi Harry, FYI: *In the video on **20:45**, correctly, the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport has been opened for business on July 9, 2015.* Additionally, a second phase was also added in September 2019. :)

I was born in Richmond, still live there to this day, and I remember the 98 B-Line route like it was yesterday. If my parents didn't wanna drive, that route was the go-to.
Also, there actually used to be a bus route to the airport, the *424: Airport*, but it was a small route that you could change in a small hub where the 98 B-Line stops.

The 424 and the 100 used to be interlined, like the 15 and 50 are today. A 424 to Airport Station would usually become a 100 to 22nd Street, and vice versa.

The Canada Line trains are so frumpy looking compared to the Expo/Millennium lines. The Canada Line isn’t even real Skytrain, I prefer my rapid transit to include linear induction motors :p

The Canada Line more closely resembles the TTC Subway than SkyTrain (and oddly enough the TTC has an LIM-propelled route exactly alike Vancouver's SkyTrain).

2-car trains, and 2-car platforms. This I fail to understand.

I may do the Expo/Millennium Lines at some point - but this video took a lot of patience and skill to make for a relatively short line.

A lot of my older videos from 2008 and earlier have me doing a full run-on commentary as I was recording. In 2009 I stopped doing it, for the most part. This was the first video of me running commentary from a prepared script, recorded during editing.
