Thanks for this informative video! Recently signed up for Getgo and had so many doubts and queries about it. Great to see most of my doubts cleared in this video! 😊
Getgo is a great opportunity to practice driving especially for P-platers. Just concerned about the cost of repairs if something happens and the app has to be restarted occasionally to reconnect to the car
Wow thanks for this! As a P-plate driver and wanting to try driving after passing my TP test, Getgo seems the only option. I've yet to do so because I don't know what's the steps and plus the problems associated with it. Maybe I should give it a try, with CDW 😂
You're welcome 😁. Yes you should, to keep ourselves familiar with our driving skills. CDW is a good option, gives you a peace of mind (but not a license to be daring 😆)
getgo car sometimes faulty. i think car hardly be checked by them, u turn half way car stuck could not move, super dangerous...season parking getgo also sometimes never pay, caused car stuck at gantry waste yr time and add stress those high blood pressure driver better aware, sometimes car fail to be connected by hp, caused delay and cause of that you cannot drive back to location and you face risk of getting late return penalty.$50, hefty fine, yet it is due to their car fault, not your fault. Very unfair.
I can't remember exactly, but it's should not be more than 2 hours. It's the distance charges that's the killer. Drove to pick up at MBS, then go to the airport to have a coffee, send a friend off, then back to rental point. If I'm not wrong, 60% goes to the distance charges.

Check all the car controls, especially brakes

does it require a singpass biometric face scan every time i book a new vehicle?
Not too sure about it now in 2024.
When we used it in 2023, it only required 1x singpass during sign up.
Thereafter, it's just in-app control
@@zwc888ohhh i see, as in account verification?
@@zwc888so last time after booking new cars and before unlock no need face scan for booking of new car?
At the start of the journey exiting the carpark you need a cashcard to pay of parking charges?
nope! bc the iu is registered so automatically season parking
@@ohjinyuan3822 Thank you
Thanks for helping out. Tbh I also forget liao, need to go back and see the raw footage to recall.
Whats your camera sir? Did you use holder for you head?
I was using a DJI action in this video. The camera is handheld. Thus, we only see one hand at any point of this video. 😁
@@zwc888 wow thank you sir
Did you drive for only 1 hour? Mind breaking down the $50 cost?
