I think women wouldn’t be so frustrated with men if they weren’t part of the reason we have a kid. My husband has baby fever like no ones business, so when we do start trying and he complains about sex I will be devastated.

Not to mention breastfeeding a child, can take up to 2 yrs (if your body co-operates and that's the goal). Along with sleepless nights, being emotionally/mentally alert at-all-times (even during sleep), the physical labor of carrying the child around and the hormonal cyclus that's still out of balance (it can take the menstrual period 4, 7, 11months or even longer to come back). Considering all of this, 2 years isn't long. Not to say that you can't get your groove back within those 2 yrs. Just saying that there's a lot more to a woman 'getting back to her "old" self' than men think. Now consider that absolutely nothing changes for the man, except having an additional member to his family. When Steve asks whether men should have understanding, the lady played herself trying to win applause by saying "it's our job to keep it going". They absolutely should have and show understanding.
Hubby comes before kids. Obviously after you have a baby, that baby needs attention. However, you raise your kids to be on their own one day and all you’re left with is your hubby and you st home. Take care of your relationship with your hubby. The love for your spouse is so different than the love for your kids.
My man helped with our baby and took the time to shower me with attention and support... needless to say he always got lucky although we waited until about 8-9 weeks . Lol

Sex is an important factor in a relationship and as unfair it may seem to the man in the relationship they have to accept that they have to share their partner with the baby as the baby is dependent on both of them but most specifically the mother. After having baby a Woman's hormones are still all over the place it can take a very long time to maintain a good balance so they may not be in sexy time mood as they use to, some can also develop post natal depression and overall body needs to recover from trauma of giving birth. That said the Woman also has to realise that the baby came into an existing relationship which must also be maintained. It should be something that is discussed in the household and people must be honest and make efforts to keep that relationship alive. It takes time but we all have to learn to find a balance that keeps everyone happy both the baby, the mother and the father (and any other older kids). There should be me time for both parents, where one can take the baby and let the other one rest of do whatever they feel like doing. There should be together time, date nights where you get someone to babysit if you must so it is just the two of you. There should also be family time together. It is inherent that men in general do not like change and don't adapt well to change but no one in a relationship should expect it to be completely unchanged after having a baby, we can only strive to make it better by taking the change into consideration.
