    Thank you for this video. Thanks to Coach Han for his patience and knowledge))) It is really hard to understand at that moment and not to do what you always do))) And it is easy to see on video how he holds the grip but in reality it is a bit hard))) I sometimes dropped the racquet after a strong hit. Now I will solve this problem owing to video. Thank you again!

    if my understanding is right, this is an intermediate -> advanced class , that's why coach is more strict on doing it correctly.
    it's great to have a coach that helps improving your techniques in minor details.
    greater when he's willing to let someone films and post it online for everyone to learn.

    During the hitting phase, the wrist acts as a pivot point, allowing for a quick snap and acceleration of the racquet head. This wrist action, combined with the forearm rotation (pronation/supination), generates significant speed and power. After striking the shuttlecock, the racquet will naturally slow down as the forearm and wrist reach their maximum range of motion.
    This deceleration is a result of the kinetic chain ending and the energy being transferred to the shuttlecock. Using muscles to control the stop, particularly by engaging the shoulder and upper arm muscles, can provide additional stability and prevent overextension

    민턴 인생 6년만에 그립 방법을 풀스윙 덕분에 조금 알거 같습니다
    매번 너무 감사합니다
    근데 엄지ㆍ검지ㆍ중지 갈고리 그립이
    라켓만으로 연습할때는 되는데
    콕으로 칠때는 그립이 풀리는 느낌이 있습니다.이건 약하게 연습을 하고
    실전에 사용할 수 있는건가요?

      이런 반복 연습으로 흔들리지 않는 그립을 만드셔야지요! 원리를 깨달았다 해도 완전히 몸에 익지 않으면 소용이 없습니다. 파이팅😀

    온몸에 힘을 빼고
    뜬 볼을 끝까지 쳐다본다
    상체와 하체의 정면을 떨어지는 볼의 90도 방향으로 바라본다. 떨어지는 콕의 타이밍에 맞추어 90도 방향을 바라보고 있던 골반과 허리를 정면으로 팔보다 먼저 돌린다. 팔은 그대로 둔다는 느낌으로 허리, 골반을 먼저 돌린다. 이 과정에 자동으로 자연스럽게 팔이 딸려오고, 손목 스냅까지 나온다.
    타점은 머리 위가 아닌 내 생각보다 앞에. 내 생각보다 낮게.
    요기에 헤드로 콕을 맞춘다.
    그르면 콕이 알아서 눌려 맞는다.
    어깨, 손목. 엘보 어느한 곳도 아프지 않더라고요
    요느낌을 오늘 느꼈습니다.

    I tried to swing like coach Han (racket stop after hit the shuttlecock), but my outer side arm muscle near elbow was getting so much pain..does that indication that my swing is wrong? or maybe I must train my arm muscle to become stronger to hold the force from racket stopping?

    이번에 그립에 대해 말씀하시던데 혹시나 스매시할 때 검지위에(검지손톱쯤) 엄지가 포개져도 될까요 꽉 잡기에는 그게 더 편한 것 같아서요 손가락이 좀 짧아서 그런지 검지가 잘 안 감겨서 정석대로 잡으면 제어가 좀 덜 되더라구요ㅠ

      문제없을듯합니다. 라켓을 슬슬 흔들다가 어느 지점에서든 멈출수만 있다면 본인에게 적당한 그립입니다.
      저마다 손가락의 길이와 유연성이 달라서 개인차가 있습니다. 그게 편하다면
      그렇게 하시면 됩니다.

    Hi, im learning to smash but can't understand why you insist on stopping the racket after hitting. I thought doing the full swing like your student in the video would be better to recover your balance and footwork, especially in playing singles?

      It is fully explained in the video. A student's swing is not a full swing, but an over-swing.

      제가 컬러그레이딩을 두고 누군가와 논할정도로 전문적이지 못합니다. 그냥 이것저것 공부해가며 적용해보고 있는 겁니다. (심지어 제가 사용하는 보급기종 카메라로는 그런 게 잘 안 됩니다 ㅎㅎㅎ 휴대폰도 자주 쓰고요.)
      저는 단지 제 취향을 정확하게 알고, 그에대한 자신이 있을 뿐입니다..😀

    레슨 받으시는 분의 팔이 너무 펴진 상태로 스윙을 시작하시는것 같습니다. 팔 각도를 90도 이하로 좁혀셔 준비, 스윙을 하시고, 라켓 잡는것도 각도를 좀 생기게 그립을 하시면 어떨까요??? 보고 있는것도 답답해서 속이 터질것 같은데..... 한코치님은 오죽 하시겠습니까????? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ. 결론은 해결하셨다는 것으로 결말이 나셨나봅니다. 다행이군요. 하지만.... 팔 각도를 좁혀서 준비에서 부터 스윙을 진행하셨으면 하는 바람은 바뀌지 않네요. 코치님이나 레슨자 모두 수고하셨습니다.

      예리하십니다. 마침 오늘 한코치님이 이 학생이랑 딱 그 지점을 연습했습니다. 팔꿈치를 접고있는 동작을 좀 어렵게 말하자면 일찍 열리지 않게 닫아두는 역할이죠. 지금은 그 습관을 만들고자 노력 중입니다. 잘 보셨네요. 😀
