Becca came up with their gimmicky Hydra mist powder couple yrs ago. Complete garbage, it dried up so fast that the idea of 'cool' didn't last more than cpl weeks, even after tightly closing the pkg. and all it did was dry the skin more. No wonder they're all at tjmaxx and marshalls now at discount price.
Maybe now Becca is focusing on “experience” however gimmicky their products may be. Formula wise there’s no new ground to break...so in the era of stale releases in a pandemic they’re trying a different angle.
perhaps! i purchased both products and i have to say i love them. i know a lot of people are calling the no pigment foundation "gimicky", and i agree it's not the product for everybody. but not everybody is looking for coverage. the product isn't claiming it's going to dramatically change the look of your skin, and it doesn't. but that's what some people are looking for. it's definitely not overpriced vaseline - there's no mineral oil in it, and it's not like a blurring primer either as there is no silicone. it may look like both of those products, but it behaves differently. i like to wear a smoothing primer with no foundation as the primer changes the way light reflects off my skin and improves the look of pores and texture. however silicone primers don't set down, so i enjoy the blurred look, but i don't enjoy the slippy feeling the silicone primer leaves on my skin all day. this becca product does exactly what it says it does: NOT MUCH, BUT JUST ENOUGH. the lip gloss/highlight is also gorgeous - not sticky at all, works well as a glass skin wet look highlight on the cheeks or lids without any trace of stickiness - my hair doesn't stick to it like other skin gloss products i've tried. all in all, i'm super pleased with both products!

Try the foundation in a video! It’s SOOO good. It makes the skin look SO plump. It’s a natural finish and medium coverage, it’s not too dewy that it’s sticky and not too matte that it’s drying. It’s actually perfect.
I got the Harry Potter brushes and they look so cool in person! They’re also really soft which is a plus because I really just caved since they were Harry Potter.

Catnip 4 you are correct! Alex was demo-ing how it handled being “a primer” if people are saying it behaves like one from the description alone. Some of her subscribers had warned her that if she rubbed her face after putting it on it would pill. But that didn’t happen to her. Only after she tested it out under foundation did she notice the pilling.
Jessica I’m going back to school and I’m looking for super simple routine that takes care of my skin and makes me look a little more awake. I don’t really want a full face, just like something simple. I feel like you could even do levels? Like level one is just a good sun screen and concealer? Or level two adds on a cream bronzer? Alejandra Marina cleanse, add a multitasking serum, sunscreen, a tinted sunscreen (skip foundation) mascara, you’re done and good to go. If we weren’t all wearing masks, I would have added lip color.

I really love the pretty fresh foundation!!!! I would love for you to try!!!!!!!!!!! But beware the shades turn out to be pink when dry so make sure you get your shade! Other than that it’s great! My fav part of the foundation is that it’s not cakey and as the day goes by and wears down it just makes your skin look really healthy!
I think you would really enjoy the L’Oréal telescoping mascara in black/brown for you lower lashes. It separates, defines and does not smudge. The bristles are plastics and short so it’s easy to control.

The PYT blush is absolutely gorgeous on more pale skin. I love it! When I pair it with their highlighter in Backstage Pass I get so many compliments! The perfect glow and flush on the cheeks!
I thought I would wait on the Patrick Ta High Impact blush duo but I am glad I went ahead and ordered the peachy one. I own a bazillion peach blushes but this blew them all away. The cream even works with other brands of peachy blushes to intensify them and make them last all day with this gorgeous glow. Seriously upped my summer face game. Nowhere to go. Oh well!

I tried the iconic London setting spray and you’re 100% correct! It’s wayyyyy too glowy! Makes you looks crazy, and the sprayer isn’t too great so you feel like you need to spray more
Save your money on the iconic London spray, unless you like heavily scented glittery spray all over your face! Got it in a boxy charm a while back, definitely not worth the money, buy a drug setting spray there are so many better options. 💕
I actually like the Iconic London spray. The scent is nice and soothing, and the directions say to put it under your moisturizer, so it really does just give a soft glow once you do that. I would never use it as a setting spray, though.
I like the pyt blush because that color is so nice for fair skin and it is really blendable, but there is ALOT of kick up in the pan ( if that matters to you)

I looked up KVD which is Kindness + Vegan Beauty + Discovery (and Doing Good). Even though they are find words to fit the acronym, they did choose good words that you would remember. It seems like they wouldn’t want to go to far away from the original since at least right now they are keeping the formula the same. They do want everyone to remember what it is especially if it’s your favorite cosmetics.
1) I was confused with the lack of straw in your coffee cup! 2) The Patrick Ta blush is AWESOME... he actually uses it with the powder blush first and top it with the cream.... mind blown!

I love the Pacifica alight foundation. A little goes a long way and it's so dewy! And I've been using their watermelon deodorant and I'm really impressed by it! I'm gonna try more of their stuff. But right now I'm obsessed with the new colourpop foundation. It's so good. I've never used that iconic spray but I swear someone did a review and liked it!
I got the PYT blush in exhale and I’m very fair and it just didn’t show up. In person that shade in particular really just doesn’t show up. The formula felt nice. I ended up returning it. If you decide to try the blush I would suggest a different shade. I’d love to see the results of a different shade.

The iconic London spray I love! I don’t normally like glowy make up but my sister brought it and didn’t like it, I used it and I love it. I have combination skin and it doesn’t make me look too oily in my t zone either. I’d give it a try!

We just got back from a trip to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in OH (we live just outside of Asheville, NC.) If I don’t remember to say this now, I’ll forget before the next time you mention it 🤪. My son is in a clinical trial there (doing GREAT!) so we are not super familiar with the area since it’s almost 6 hours one way from us. Riding down the interstate, almost there, and I got startled, saying, “Oh my gosh!!!” My husband was automatically worried because I was so surprised. I started trying to reassure him, and laughing. I was so surprised because I saw a Meijer in the distance 😂. We don’t have them at home, I’d never seen one, but I knew what it was from your videos 🤣. Didn’t stop there because of dumb COVID-19, and due to that we only go in places if absolutely necessary (we’re high risk.) Hopefully someday I’ll get to go in there 😆

I don’t think I saw you say anything about the new cover girl cream shadows. They are in squeeze tubes this time. I’ve been trying to find them in store but haven’t had luck thus far. There’s a few one and done shades that looked like you would probably like them.
had to come here to comment on your cabin vlog.. I was a Watkins rep for 25 years. LOL They've been around forever... salesmen used tosell it out of their trunks. You can find it at Target, Menard's, Walmart, online places like Amazon but unfortunately, you can't buy the shampoo and conditioner.. it's only available thru a certain hotel group.

If the Makeup Revolution renaissance liner is discontinued, try the colourpop liquid liner! I have both and use both right now and I think I like the colour pop one even more!
I’ve seen two TH-camrs try the Becca “no pigment foundation and both of them said the same thing you did. So it’s a primer. This is a cash grab by Becca. The stuff people fall for amazes me sometimes.
Not to mention many of the claims they did make fell flat too, like for example I don’t think anyone who reviewed it actually did find it pore blurring or mattifying either lol!

At first I tried the shade 33C...With that shade, it was a little too light and I ended up thinking the foundation sat weird on my skin. But once I got the right shade, I feel it looks beautiful! Pacifica lip glosses are amazing. They are just sticky enough to last a decent amount of time but the stickiness isn’t uncomfortable or annoying.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Pretty Fresh foundation. I really love it and I think you will too. It takes a few minutes to melt into your skin, but it looks beautiful!
I think the revolution eyeliner is a stamp, like to start the wing part and then fill in.

My dollar tree had biore charcoal micellar water, so I grabbed two. Defiantly not going to pay $30 for one.

The flick and go eyeliner is actually not bad! You have a few sides on the tip which helps you using it. There is a learning curve but i like it!

I love the Pacifica alight foundation. A little goes a long way and it's so dewy! And I've been using their watermelon deodorant and I'm really impressed by it! I'm gonna try more of their stuff.

I got the PYT blush in exhale and I’m very fair and it just didn’t show up. In person that shade in particular really just doesn’t show up. The formula felt nice. I ended up returning it. If you decide to try the blush I would suggest a different shade. I’d love to see the results of a different shade.

The Iconic Spray is a wash. I got it in a Boxycharm-- the pump broke in two weeks of using it and the spray is way too sparkly. Truly an anti-haul!

The iconic London spray I love! I don’t normally like glowy make up but my sister brought it and didn’t like it, I used it and I love it. I have combination skin and it doesn’t make me look too oily in my t zone either. I’d give it a try!

We just got back from a trip to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in OH (we live just outside of Asheville, NC.) If I don’t remember to say this now, I’ll forget before the next time you mention it 🤪. My son is in a clinical trial there (doing GREAT!) so we are not super familiar with the area since it’s almost 6 hours one way from us. Riding down the interstate, almost there, and I got startled, saying, “Oh my gosh!!!” My husband was automatically worried because I was so surprised. I started trying to reassure him, and laughing. I was so surprised because I saw a Meijer in the distance 😂. We don’t have them at home, I’d never seen one, but I knew what it was from your videos 🤣. Didn’t stop there because of dumb COVID-19, and due to that we only go in places if absolutely necessary (we’re high risk.) Hopefully someday I’ll get to go in there 😆

I don’t think I saw you say anything about the new cover girl cream shadows. They are in squeeze tubes this time. I’ve been trying to find them in store but haven’t had luck thus far. There’s a few one and done shades that looked like you would probably like them.

You can find it at Target, Menard's, Walmart, online places like Amazon but unfortunately, you can't buy the shampoo and conditioner.. it's only available thru a certain hotel group.

I’ve seen two TH-camrs try the Becca “no pigment foundation and both of them said the same thing you did. So it’s a primer. This is a cash grab by Becca. The stuff people fall for amazes me sometimes.

You really should try the colourpop foundation. And I've never liked any of their foundations or tinted moisturizer. It has a beautiful natural finish and medium coverage. I think you'd like it.
I have the Colourpop foundation. I think it’s fantastic! I have shade 40N. At first I tried the shade 33C...With that shade, it was a little too light and I ended up thinking the foundation sat weird on my skin. But once I got the right shade, I feel it looks beautiful! I would love to see you try it!

The Drunk Elephant Micellar water is AMAZING and so gentle to use just before you wash your face!! I know you said you didn’t want to buy but I highly recommend!!!
