I don't understand why becos of 1 articlel and you say till like the whole of singapore singaporen is the same thinking ? There are many type of people in the world. Yes, some singaporean may think like what you say but i can oao say there malaysian think the same. Just to be fair.
Maybe my sentitive is a hint of your emo on the youtube ? Mr Loo, I respect your view but pls consider my view too. I understand that we need to stop here. Thank you.
I can see the inclination and motivation of Loo leaning towards Malaysia.... Wish you success in your Malaysia markets and viewership. Don't generalise about Singaporeans to gain more of that.
Well said Mr. Loo. Msians and Sporeans should maintain mutual respect, explore areas of cooperation to achieve higher income, standards of living in win-win scenarios.
Thank you for your offering your insightful observation on what is prevalent in our societies. No doubt, it is clear that as fellow human beings, we all regardless of nationalities and differences, must respect each others. Arrogant and selfish behaviors will only cause the downfall for those who behave as such. On a personal note as a true blue Singaporean, while in Malaysia, generally I find most people of all races, I interacted to be friendly, humble and helpful. So thank you Mr. Loo, for your effort and time creating these useful and informative videos.
I'm sure you can talk about cohesion without bashing Singaporeans and projects all Singaporeans to be thinking highly of themselves because they are richer. Being "humble" in front of certain group of individual because they are poorer won't make them feel any better, nothing to do with nationality.
Thank you Mr Loo. I can't help but agree with you on this silly comparison. Malaysians have achieved a lot in the entertainment field - look at Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh. Malaysians are much happier too.
Completely agree with you. Not only with Malaysian but to all our near, and far neighbours too. Don't keep complaining or comparing with others that may turn us into irritating bigots.
I know the bag holders pod always compare saying how good is malaysia and how bad is singapore. We also hate the comparisons from these TH-camrs. This is a KF report. It’s their report. Let’s not stir things further when the majority don’t 😂. Everywhere have Hao Lian people even Indians, Malaysians, Chinese, angmo etc. ignore them. Never compare, don’t need to compare, silly to even waste energy to compare.
So right, Mr Loo. So what we are richer? We need to learn to be humble. This is one of the reasons why Malaysians don't like Singaporeans. The local rich are too snobbish. We live more in the mind than in the heart. We think too much but can’t feel anything. Full respect to you Mr Loo. You are not just rich in the bank. You are also rich in your heart. This is true wealth. God blessed you with material wealth and wisdom. Youa re a true gentleman. What’s the point of bring rich in your pockets but poor in your heart? You are no better than a begger. Many Malaysians actually dislike Singaporeans because of their snobbish attitude. The mind only has division. But the heart has oneness. When we die, God will not ask how much millions we make during our lifetime. He simply don't give a deem even if you are as rich as Buffet, He will only ask what good have we done in our lifetime.
First of all, I showed that getting JB house is a good retirement strategy for Singaporeans. I have repeated emphasised that the purpose of my JB video is not to flaunt but to educate Singaporeans on their retirement options. And what is there is flaunt when the house is less than the worth of even a singapore 4room resale flat. If I want to flaunt, wouldn’t it be to show off all the wealth I have accumulated? Flashy cars that I drive and expensive restaurants that I dine in?
Thank you for this view about Malaysian. Besides being tough the minority also have to face racial and religious oppression. How not be tough, its all about survival
Everyone is striving hard to progress in life, nothing to compare one to another..wealth is less important as compared to many things in life like happiness
What the media stated is a fact. And you have been stating facts about your own wealth as well, having millions, with multiple businesses and new property in Malaysia.
You are upset with the headline, but u went on to compare other factors aside from wealth? Seems contradictory to me. I disagree that Malaysians are better at languages. They speak more languages but aren't good at any generally. My company has lots of Malaysians graduated from uni but their English is much weaker than Singaporeans as a whole.
We Malaysians don't need too much money to live well in Malaysia. There are always avenues for Malaysians, even with low income to live frugally in our home country, especially back in our hometowns and kampongs. So we don't lose sleep over having 7 times less money for our top 1 per cent income earners ..... Whereas in Singapore, because of the heightened cost of living and, err, leasehold status of properties and cars as you mentioned, Singaporeans really needed to make more. But this is also the case in advanced Asian economies like Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. Only difference is that, unlike Singapore, these countries do not do income comparisons with Malaysia ......
I would suggest to you when you want to address sensitive topic like this, you choice of words and tone has to be taken into serious consideration. Are you saying ALL Singaporeans are like so? It is those who make the comments that have those thoughts. They do not represent the whole of Singapore. You could have just said those who make the comments are not having the right perspective.
Obviously I am referring to those who are having this attitude and not the humble and nice Singaporeans like you. So chill off and don’t get so sensitive.
Recently CNA did one documentary about cheap medicine in Malaysia. I think this is self sabo as Sink-a-pore garmen might restrict our buying of medicine in order to help the clinic/pharmacy in Singapore. Best is to keep our mouth shut and continue to enjoy the discounted meds in malaysia. Also, go Malaysia don't say cheap cheap everywhere as this will irritate the citizens there.
Do not put your trust in money. Today you are here and rich. Who knows, tomorrow may be our last day and cannot even bring a cent with us. Put your trust in Jesus alone.
Of course, Singapore is much better! Othwise you do not see numerous Malaysians coming to Singapore to live and work? How many Singaporeans do you see living and working in Malaysia? People vote with their feet, not their mouths!
Thanks Loo for stopping this nonsense. We need one another more than we know but lost it due to the HLnesss and Uppityness oozing. Until the frog is out of the hotpot, no frogs will know what they lost.
Sg are not arrogant but rather most are ignorant... they want their company to pamper them before they willing to work... but they are so ignorant that most are dispensable and can be easily replace.
Look deeper it could be Malaysian Chinese making money here and are now millionaires. They are trying to create misunderstanding between two neighbours. I agree that many young and middle-aged Singaporean who are middle-class rich are arrogant, boastful, and have forgotten their humble parents who worked extremely hard to give their children good education. I hope rich and middle-class Singaporean must stay humble and have a compassionate heart.
A very good message Mr Loo and we should stop comparing between Singapore and Malaysia.. We do need to depend on each other and work hand in hand with each other too.. All these comparisons would just breakdown the relationship between our neighbours. Lets learn to encourage each other to do well and help each other when we can... Sadly.. Singaporeans use to have FIRE in OUR BELLIES.. but today... MALAYSIANs BELLIES are burning to do better than us Singaporeans. Lets learn to RESPECT with our NEIGHBOURs!!!
True some Singaporeans are too proud and expectation not realistic. But could be sad that also Singaporean can be poor in happiness, worked so much expected so much when we didn't even the real value of happiness from being contention and realistic.
@@Mike-e1n certainly not me, don't know why a lot are like that, everything also compare, compare house, compare cars, compare salaries, compare children's school scores...honestly, I am sick of this kind of attitude.
I agree absolutely with what you say about how Malaysians are in fact no worse off than Singaporeans. In fact, Malaysians are a lot freer than Singaporeans. Take for example the freedomto buy and sell property. At will and without crippling taxes if they buy one, two or three or more properties, without being hit with Absd. N if they want to sell, they can just sell, without being hit by extra taxes if they sell under 3 years. Not so Singaporeans…
Malaysians don't have to go anywhere else to buy affordable, quality goods/service unlike hmm..some people and have far far better lifestyle than Singaporeans who stay in HDB, no car etc yet try to show off. Furthermore, top 1% in Malaysia is not a true comparison to Singapore as Singapore is just a city. A better comparison would be say Klang Valley and Singapore. In Klang Valley, the top 1% would be about double that figure at US$1mil.
I cannot help but to agree with Mr Loo that our local press should stop this kind of comparison and give Singaporeans the misconception that we are really wealthy, or are we? We Singaporeans cannot but pride ourselves as one of the most expensive city in the world and that we are all millionaires by asset....but probably many are in debt by net assets, and even worst in pure cash terms. Having a high GDP per capital is also misleading if everything you buy is imported and High price. Be humble and there is nothing to show off 😂
Hmm... That writer must be smoking weed in Sg, I find it hard to believe that Vincent Tan or Najib and family has a net worth of S$670k. 😅. Jokingly I must disagree with Mr. Loo - many Singaporeans should be "Good Ah Lians and Bengs. 👍.
I agree with Mr Loo. Malaysians are more street smart when it comes to entrepreneurship. Partly because it is not so systematic when it comes to getting things done as the policies and regulations are not so straightforward, as compared to SG. This motivates the Malaysians to be better entrepreneurs. I would like to add, 1% of Malaysians is around 300k (30 Mil population). This would be 6% of SG's population. What would be the lowest 6% be worth in SG?
True, we just need to stay humble and appreciate what we have. Our neighbouring countries may have in abundance what we lack too.
Best is Don’t Compare. Just live our life happily.
Fully agree. I'm glad you are putting out the right perception about Malaysians and Singaporeans. Thank you for the video.
