I love my '24 Night. It feels like a luxury, small sized pickup. I get the best of all worlds. I'm more of a car guy but had been wanting a truck, this thing has the best of everything i want.
It's quick, it's got a bed, it has luxury/tech features... too many good things to say. I've always had a very low car, so being higher up (even if its low for a "truck") feels really nice. LED lights are a huge plus.
I'm very happy with my purchase.
I'm picking my up and it feels like I going full circle, being my first truck was a 62 Ranchero
@@386joedaddy Hope you're loving it! 3 Months later and I am still in love with my SC Night
That 2.5T is a monster. They use it in the new Genesis models too and it hardly feels any slower than the 3.3/3.5
Very true! Makes me want to check out some dyno videos if anyone has done it

I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
I love how in depth you are with the interior. Great for someone who is very particular about weird stuff XD
Now my perfect truck for me to buy one.
Great review. Loved your speed comparison to driving an F-150.
Thanks! 👍🏼
Hey dude, GREAT review. The reason I'm on this video is my dad very recently just got a brand new Santa Cruz. His is just a 4-banger and it's mid-level, but bigger tires were standard, and this VERAY, VERY nice matte-like blue-gray paint job, which really makes his SC pop! When I saw it in his driveway, I immediately loved the way it looked, and a very clean interior too (not at all overly busy like other manufacturers). And as I'm 6 ft, 225 pounds, the driver's seat fit me perfectly. So after spending a little bit of time with dad's SC, I decided I want one too--but with the turbo!! Sh-t, UNDER 6 SECONDS...in a mini truck/SUV?! Heck yes I'm gonna jump all over that. And all under $40K is a relative bargain in today's auto market.
My favorite vehicle!
great review the only change i would make would be to take it and have a high performance exhaust installed i like a meaner sound when u rev or take off
Any option as for the wheels ?
I don't like the new rims .
I hear a lot of ppl have issues w the dct on the turbo models.
I'll buy one when they put the hybrid engine in it from the Tucson.
You don’t get the upgraded sound system in the night edition?
Is there any way to add a subwoofer ?
Does the night edition have the outlet in the bed like the limited and the old SEL Premium?
Yes behind that plastic cover in the right side of the bed! 👍🏼
I pass by my dealership everyday and I see this car and just want it so bad 😭
Bed extra storage that leaks and isn't waterproof for 40k? That's crazy.
I am planning on getting one like this one new
My next Vehicle
I have a 2022 limited, and to be honest, im not a fan of it. The dct needs a tune. It's extremely clunky. Sometimes, it sounds like something is about to break. At time when i come to a stop it jerks forward. I find myself having to shift it into 8th manually when driving on state routes and country roads ( i live out in the country). It will hold 7th gear until you hit 59 mph and most of the time i drive 50-57. Ive driven the Sonata N-line that has the exact same setup and the Sonata was so much better. I honestly think this would be better with a traditional 8 speed. Gas mileage once it hits fall and winter is horrible. I drive this extremely conservative with barely getting over 2k rpm's and the best i get overall is 21-22 mpg. Once it hits srping and summer my mpg will jump up to 25-27. With cruise control set on 58 i hit right at 30mpg doing the exact same drive in the cold and im lucky to get 25. On the highway cruise set at 77 i get 20-22mpg. The closest i got to 27mpg on the highway was in the summer with cruise set on 70. Its crazy the drastic change in mpg this thing does.
Small protected storage areas that leak is a great selling feature. I laud your honesty but you killed the sale.
I wish Hyundai put the 2.5T motor in the Tucson N-Line 😞
2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz 2.5T SEL Activity HTRAC AWD Night Edition!
Don't like the look of the step bars at all. First thing I'd do is take them off
Best you buy one first and then do what you want with it.
Solid review, but humans don't talk like that. Nice try Skynet. You're almost there 😎👍
you should point the cam towards the road not you
No android auto? Big miss
The Ford f150 is a truck and the santacruz is a suv posing as a truck lol
I don't see the problem with that.
Better have it when you want it, than not have it when you need it! 5000 lb tow rating.
Agreed! 👍🏼
you don't buy this instead of another pickup. you buy it instead of a small suv mommy-mobile.
Ok tough guy
Tell us you suffer from shrinkage without telling us you suffer from shrinkage lol 🤙
Don't buy the Hyundai Santa Cruz if they can not prove they replaced the faulty Transmission .. know to break down in the 2022 !
All trims faulty?
Go for the Maverick or the Honda Pilot.
Trash no back ac no back seat rest ridiculous maximum worth 17.000
