I’m Ethiopian Messianic Jew and I tell my Secular Christians to stop reading the Bible in a secular world view perspective and start reading the Bible in the Jewish biblical world perspective. I also told him that the western world perspective will get you in a lot of trouble on interpretation.

Yours is the first time I've heard Gog being linked to Agog also. And I've heard this stuff a lot. So I have to ask if there's other information available on Gog also under searching under the view and interpretation using 'Agog'? (Not including Numbers 24). Thanks.
I was taught eschatology from a young age. I memorized signs and seals and trumpets and bowls and...I couldn't find the Pre-Trib rapture. I tried so hard to find it. I asked questions and was called a heretic. FINALLY, I put away all the books, shut out the voices, and just read the words. Then it all made sense. I couldn't find what was not there. I had to accept the scary truth that was there.
Me too. But the thought of the honor to have the opportunity to suffer and maybe die for speaking the truth of Jesus makes it all worth it.. Just as the early church.
@@Owl4909 Yes, that is a very good thought, but I also fear that I am so weak. I get upset when the stupid computer won't work, but I will have to stand up to real problems and real suffering. The "oil" the 5 virgins were too foolish to store up was the Holy Spirit...or maybe I mean, the habit and comfort of relying on Him. You tube Blessed Hope Chapel in Simi Valley CA. pastor Joe schemmel. Play list, revelation series is about half way down. He has like 146 messages. It took years. The first one is at the bottom and work your way up. He goes through the entire book. Even has gog magog toward the end. He doesn't say 100% that gog is Russia. I however do believe it is turkey. The ottoman was an actual empire, Russia was not. Russia didn't exist when Ezekiel was written. The remote parts of the north was turkey

I often get censored on sites that disagree with my opinions., such as when I make the case for a post-trib rapture on a pre-trib rapture channel. FAI seems to be a humble in acknowledging that they don't have all the answers, but I have seen some of my answers get deleted when I present a different opinion such as the Magog war is not the final Armageddon war. Let the truth be discovered through open exchange of ideas. No one has the full blueprint. There are valid reasons for disent. Was thinking about this recently. The Agag/Gog name discrepancy is interesting. Some are interpreting GOG was a real person who was the descendent of Japheth because Genesis 10 names Noah's sons and their children and their descendents include Gomer, Magog, Tubal, Meshech and Togarmah. I read a person's comment on another site that said GOG was a real person in ancient times. I don't know, I try to understand the best I can and try to determine the best teachings. I trust this ministry and have started donating monthly which I have never done so I am putting all my trust in them to help me understand the truth in the Bible. Most of what I have watched I agree with completely but I do still have questions.
How can Gog be the Antichrist if the Antichrist will have been burning in the lake of fire for a thousand years during the Millennial Reign before the Gog and Magog scenario plays out (see REV 19:20, 20:7-10)?

The Scandinavians, Turks, Tartars, Mongols, and the rest of the people who’s roots are from the Caucus mountains (Gogus mountains) and GokTurks (GogTurks). Gog in Ez. 38,39 is definitely not the antichrist. In Ez.39:11 it is plainly stated that Gog and all those with him will be buried in a valley in Israel that will be named Hamon Gog. The antichrist on the other hand is thrown, with the false prophet, into the eternal lake of fire and satan is bound for a thousand years and thrown into the abyss, Rev. 19:19.

Gog is associated with the 4th kingdom from Da:2: The part below is establishing who the iron is and who the clay is. Iron is referring to fallen angels, the very ones that had part in the sins committed in Ge:6 that brought on the flood of water. They were put into the Pit by the saints mentioned by Enoch in the book of Jude and by Moses when he referred to it as an historical event. Jude is the best definition for what a fallen angel is in a book just before a long one that references them many times. Clay is referencing mankind, the 10 toes are the 10 men that are given kingdoms on the same day the Beast starts his 42-month reign. Da:2:40-45: And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. The last verse from Da:11 is referencing the day the 7th trumps sounds and the 7 vials are followed by the book of life verses from Re:10. Satan and the harlot is the king with the daughter. The two witnesses are the people that know God and can do exploits and a few other thing have been meshed but not all of it. Revelations has several chapters that would help filling in the current blanks. The image from Re:13 is the false throne and it is the abomination standing where it should not be. M't:24:15: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Da:11:31: And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 2Th:2:3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th:2:4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. I could be wrong but I am convinced that “Gog” is a nickname for Satan in Numbers, Ezekiel, and Revelation and the name Gog essentially represents the “character” of Satan possessing a man (the Antichrist/king version of the beast from the sea or gentiles/son of perdition/deceiving “Mahdi”). The Antichrist will have his own given name but after reading a lot of relevant scripture in the Old and New Testament, I am convinced that Satan possesses the Antichrist after Satan’s fall to earth and right before the Antichrist sits in God’s temple on the Temple Mount and of course setting off the timer for the 42 month great tribulation. In Ezekiel it could be interpreted as GOG (Lucifer being the EYES and MOUTH of the Daniel 7 horn, trampling some of the army/host and “stars” in Daniel 8, and giving his throne in Revelation to the Antichrist man) “OF” MAGOG (the land containing modern day Turkey), then in Revelation it is GOG (post-millennium Lucifer without possessing the Antichrist man who has been destroyed but now either possessing another man or going solo) “AND” MAGOG (a possibly larger land mass than before and still containing modern day Turkey as well as the people living in this land mass who are the “unsaved rebellious descendants of the leftovers” from God’s wrath). When it comes to the case of Gog, it’s clear that Ezekiel and Numbers were written about a specific person and some translations and commentaries of Revelation describe Gog as if it’s referring to a nation/ethnicity. However, the Apostolic Bible Polyglot reads: and (Satan) shall come forth to mislead/deceive the nations/gentiles/ethnicities, the ones in the 4 corners/angles (maybe from the new Israel’s geographical perspective- the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 15) of the earth/region - Gog and Magog. There is a dash instead of the usual comma after “the ones in the 4 corners of the earth” in the ABP translation which could be expressing something that is like our generation seeing a movie tagline that is followed by the title of the movie. For example: “Your golden ticket to imagination and adventure!” - “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” Ok. So, Magog (Noah’s descendant in Genesis) was the name given to the land that currently includes Turkey in the book of Ezekiel. In Revelation, post-millennium: If Magog, due to the revived Islamic caliphate/kingdom version of the beast from the sea, includes a previous western invasion/takeover of Greece and its islands, and Magog stretches out North (or northeast) to the “Stans” lands like Kazakhstan and is stretched far to the east and far to the south (also included within these corners/angles are lands that are Southeast and Southwest from modern day Turkey), then it could make sense that the 4 corners/angles of the earth/region is referring to lands that surround the new Israel, which will be established in the messianic kingdom that will never be destroyed.

I think the pope (The Antichrist) is already possessed by Satan, just look at the works he does. Look at the instruments of torture. What commandment has the Pope not broken? I do not think anyone can do more wickedness, maybe equal, but it's hard to see anyone exceeding the Pope's wickedness. And I am kicking around the idea that the Pope is The Antichrist who rules the world and is Gog and the nation without walls is the people of God. But I work 70 hours a week and haven't had time to study scripture carefully to see if there is one verse that invalidates that whole theory.
Previous to this video I watched the video where you demonstrated that the war of Gog Magog was not the same battle as as mentioned in Revelation 20. The details of these prophecies very definitely point to do different battles, as you pointed out. For the same reason I do not believe that the Battle of Gog Magog is the same as the battle of Armageddon nor do I believe that Gog is the Antichrist spoken of in other parts of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The details of both are different. Daniel tells us that the one we call Antichrist is going to make a covenant with Israel, but in the middle is going to disrupt the temple service / sacrifice. Paul says the same thing and saying that the Antichrist will enter the Temple of God proclaiming himself to be God. Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 make no mention of the Temple at that time, let alone Gog going into the Temple to proclaim himself to be God. In fact there is no mention of the Temple until chapter 40, after the battle of Gog Magog. So for the very same reasons that you believe in the difference between the two Gog Magog battles, I believe that the Gog Magog war is separate from the wars of Antichrist against Israel. Additionally, in Ezekiel 38 and 39 well God destroys the invading armies and punishes the Nations that sent them there is absolutely no mention of God coming to Earth to do it, nor the Messiah doing it. Which is extremely different than all of the references to the Antichrist being defeated by the Son of God when He returns to Earth. Which is mentioned in both Testaments. For these reasons, I believe that the war of Gog Magog is not the same as the war against Antichrist, nor do I believe that Gog is the Antichrist. Gog is merely an evil greedy ruler that attacks Israel before the Tribulation Period.
You want Jesus to come? Do your part then, as Jesus said, and take His Gospel to everyone around you, all the time! Do it withh love and patience, and you shall be blessed!
Like many prophecy writers today, he is claiming that Russia is found in the Bible because according to him, "Rosh in verse 2" of Ezekiel 38, "is a shortened version of the word Russia." No, it's not. The Hebrew word 'rosh' means head or chief. It's used 600+ times with that meaning. Even dispensationalist Charles Ryrie, the author of the Ryrie Study Bible, acknowledges that 'rosh' is not a proper name: “The prince of Rosh is better translated as ‘the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.’” The Hebrew word for Russia (Rusiyah) only shares one Hebrew letter with 'rosh," the 'r' (resh). Unless Russia is fighting this war with bows and arrows, clubs, shields, and chariots, Ezekiel 38 and 39 don't have anything to do with modern-day Russia.
The "Jewish" view on Gog and Magog. In the "opinion" , "belief of a Christian. I am pretty sure the Jews will have a....different interpretation of the Messiah. I KNOW they do not believe that Jesus was or will be theMessiah. Gog is the title not the name.

I just am wondering, do you have a reason to not think that the Daniel prophecy is talking about Rome? I can't tell you the chapter off the top of my head, but I believe it's around the seventy weeks prophecy that Americans think Rome is where the "Beast of the Earth" will come, and not Gog. I am seeking answers not necessarily disagreeing with you.

So if he's the ultimate guy spoken of, wouldn't that automatically put him at the end of history? Meaning, after the Millennium? Cause Satan isn't crushed at the coming. He's crushed after the 1000 years, never to rise again. So that should be the end.

I was taught eschatology from a young age. I memorized signs and seals and trumpets and bowls and...I couldn't find the Pre-Trib rapture. I tried so hard to find it. I asked questions and was called a heretic. FINALLY, I put away all the books, shut out the voices, and just read the words. Then it all made sense. I couldn't find what was not there. I had to accept the scary truth that was there.
Me too. But the thought of the honor to have the opportunity to suffer and maybe die for speaking the truth of Jesus makes it all worth it.. Just as the early church.

The first one is at the bottom and work your way up. He goes through the entire book. Even has gog magog toward the end. He doesn't say 100% that gog is Russia. I however do believe it is turkey. The ottoman was an actual empire, Russia was not. Russia didn't exist when Ezekiel was written. The remote parts of the north was turkey

I often get censored on sites that disagree with my opinions., such as when I make the case for a post-trib rapture on a pre-trib rapture channel. FAI seems to be a humble in acknowledging that they don't have all the answers, but I have seen some of my answers get deleted when I present a different opinion such as the Magog war is not the final Armageddon war. Let the truth be discovered through open exchange of ideas. No one has the full blueprint. There are valid reasons for disent. However, Rev. 20:7-8 "(7) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." seems to imply something more.

Some are interpreting GOG was a real person who was the descendent of Japheth because Genesis 10 names Noah's sons and their children and their descendents include Gomer, Magog, Tubal, Meshech and Togarmah. I read a person's comment on another site that said GOG was a real person in ancient times. I don't know, I try to understand the best I can and try to determine the best teachings. I trust this ministry and have started donating monthly which I have never done so I am putting all my trust in them to help me understand the truth in the Bible. The part below is establishing who the iron is and who the clay is. Iron is referring to fallen angels, the very ones that had part in the sins committed in Ge:6 that brought on the flood of water. They were put into the Pit by the saints mentioned by Enoch in the book of Jude and by Moses when he referred to it as an historical event. Jude is the best definition for what a fallen angel is in a book just before a long one that references them many times. Clay is referencing mankind, the 10 toes are the 10 men that are given kingdoms on the same day the Beast starts his 42-month reign.

2/3 of the Gentiles alive on the day the 7th trump sounds will die in the few hours that follow the resurrection of the two witnesses. What is mentioned had to happen in a period of 1260 days that starts when the 5th trump sounds and end on the day the 7th trump sounds.
In the verse below the whole world surrenders to the Beast at the start of his 42 month rule. Jerusalem only comes under his control for the 4 days the witnesses are dead. The latter time below is 3 1/2 years before and Jerusalem is exempt.

All of that has to have a reference in Da:11 and be within the 1260 days that is what 42 months equals. The 5th trump sounding is woe one and 5 months later the 2nd woe begins and 1/3 of all people on the planet

The last verse from Da:11 is referencing the day the 7th trumps sounds and the 7 vials are followed by the book of life verses from Re:10.
Satan and the harlot is the king with the daughter. The two witnesses are the people that know God and can do exploits and a few other thing have been meshed but not all of it. Revelations has several chapters that would help filling in the current blanks. The image from Re:13 is the false throne and it is the abomination standing where it should not be.

I could be wrong but I am convinced that “Gog” is a nickname for Satan in Numbers, Ezekiel, and Revelation and the name Gog essentially represents the “character” of Satan possessing a man (the Antichrist/king version of the beast from the sea or gentiles/son of perdition/deceiving “Mahdi”). The Antichrist will have his own given name but after reading a lot of relevant scripture in the Old and New Testament, I am convinced that Satan possesses the Antichrist after Satan’s fall to earth and right before the Antichrist sits in God’s temple on the Temple Mount and of course setting off the timer for the 42 month great tribulation.
In Ezekiel it could be interpreted as GOG (Lucifer being the EYES and MOUTH of the Daniel 7 horn, trampling some of the army/host and “stars” in Daniel 8, and giving his throne in Revelation to the Antichrist man) “OF” MAGOG (the land containing modern day Turkey), then in Revelation it is GOG (post-millennium Lucifer without possessing the Antichrist man who has been destroyed but now either possessing another man or going solo) “AND” MAGOG (a possibly larger land mass than before and still containing modern day Turkey as well as the people living in this land mass who are the “unsaved rebellious descendants of the leftovers” from God’s wrath). When it comes to the case of Gog, it’s clear that Ezekiel and Numbers were written about a specific person and some translations and commentaries of Revelation describe Gog as if it’s referring to a nation/ethnicity. However, the Apostolic Bible Polyglot reads: and (Satan) shall come forth to mislead/deceive the nations/gentiles/ethnicities, the ones in the 4 corners/angles (maybe from the new Israel’s geographical perspective- the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 15) of the earth/region - Gog and Magog. There is a dash instead of the usual comma after “the ones in the 4 corners of the earth” in the ABP translation which could be expressing something that is like our generation seeing a movie tagline that is followed by the title of the movie. For example: “Your golden ticket to imagination and adventure!” - “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”
Ok. So, Magog (Noah’s descendant in Genesis) was the name given to the land that currently includes Turkey in the book of Ezekiel. In Revelation, post-millennium: If Magog, due to the revived Islamic caliphate/kingdom version of the beast from the sea, includes a previous western invasion/takeover of Greece and its islands, and Magog stretches out North (or northeast) to the “Stans” lands like Kazakhstan and is stretched far to the east and far to the south (also included within these corners/angles are lands that are Southeast and Southwest from modern day Turkey), then it could make sense that the 4 corners/angles of the earth/region is referring to lands that surround the new Israel, which will be established in the messianic kingdom that will never be destroyed.

I think the pope (The Antichrist) is already possessed by Satan, just look at the works he does. Look at the instruments of torture. What commandment has the Pope not broken?
I do not think anyone can do more wickedness, maybe equal, but it's hard to see anyone exceeding the Pope's wickedness.
And I am kicking around the idea that the Pope is The Antichrist who rules the world and is Gog and the nation without walls is the people of God. But I work 70 hours a week and haven't had time to study scripture carefully to see if there is one verse that invalidates that whole theory.

Previous to this video I watched the video where you demonstrated that the war of Gog Magog was not the same battle as as mentioned in Revelation 20. The details of these prophecies very definitely point to do different battles, as you pointed out.
For the same reason I do not believe that the Battle of Gog Magog is the same as the battle of Armageddon nor do I believe that Gog is the Antichrist spoken of in other parts of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The details of both are different.
Daniel tells us that the one we call Antichrist is going to make a covenant with Israel, but in the middle is going to disrupt the temple service / sacrifice. Paul says the same thing and saying that the Antichrist will enter the Temple of God proclaiming himself to be God.
Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 make no mention of the Temple at that time, let alone Gog going into the Temple to proclaim himself to be God. In fact there is no mention of the Temple until chapter 40, after the battle of Gog Magog.
So for the very same reasons that you believe in the difference between the two Gog Magog battles, I believe that the Gog Magog war is separate from the wars of Antichrist against Israel.
Additionally, in Ezekiel 38 and 39 well God destroys the invading armies and punishes the Nations that sent them there is absolutely no mention of God coming to Earth to do it, nor the Messiah doing it. Which is extremely different than all of the references to the Antichrist being defeated by the Son of God when He returns to Earth. Which is mentioned in both Testaments.
For these reasons, I believe that the war of Gog Magog is not the same as the war against Antichrist, nor do I believe that Gog is the Antichrist. Gog is merely an evil greedy ruler that attacks Israel before the Tribulation Period.

Like many prophecy writers today, he is claiming that Russia is found in the Bible because according to him, "Rosh in verse 2" of Ezekiel 38, "is a shortened version of the word Russia." No, it's not. The Hebrew word 'rosh' means head or chief. It's used 600+ times with that meaning. Even dispensationalist Charles Ryrie, the author of the Ryrie Study Bible, acknowledges that 'rosh' is not a proper name: “The prince of Rosh is better translated as ‘the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.’” The Hebrew word for Russia (Rusiyah) only shares one Hebrew letter with 'rosh," the 'r' (resh). Unless Russia is fighting this war with bows and arrows, clubs, shields, and chariots, Ezekiel 38 and 39 don't have anything to do with modern-day Russia.

Identifying Gog and Magog, the Kings of the North and South
Ezekiel 38:1-2: The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
Magog, Meshech, and Tubal were all sons of Japheth, who was one of the three sons of Noah. Jepheth and his family migrated to the area of modern-day Russia (Genesis 10:2-3).
Gog is a person who rules over the land of Magog (Russia). Magog means the "Prince of Rosh." (Gog) Rosh is the old root word for the land of Russia.
God informs Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38:15, "You will come from your place in the far North” (the Hebrew word means "the uttermost part of the North." What's north of Jerusalem? Moscow. What is north Russia? Nothing. Meshech is the old name for the capital of Western Russia, which is known today as Moscow. Tubal is identified as a city in Siberia.
Gog (Russia) is the King of the North. The King of the South is an Arab-African coalition.
