Great video. Love the cave shelter with the skull keeping watch over the fire/campsite. I appreciate that you show how not only to survive outdoors, but thrive. Very "Freddy Flintstone" like setting, cooking on a rock and all. You even have a wool sheep skin throw to sit on. Making pizza in an oven is tough enough, but on a wood fired heated pizza stone just like the fine restaurants! Yum yum...

I solo camp at the cabin but dont have the video skills or equipment to capture my trip. Bathing in the forest is my description. Every 6 to 8 weeks is necessary to keep me grounded. Especially with what is going on in the US. Blessings Brother....Give your dog a pat a a smile for your bride.

I've started comparing your painting to Bob Ross. You're very different. You can draw, and so well that I love the shots where you shift from the painting to real life. There's a blockiness to your style I wondered about. Then I watched a couple of Bob Ross paintings where he doesn't look blocky; there is no such landscape, and he's letting brushstrokes paint a picture while with you the brushes allow you to paint the picture. And what you paint is really there. The flute is getting better! I'm waiting for a one-hour track you could use as background music and I now believe it's a matter of strength: you're getting stronger but playing for a solid hour is asking a lot.
Bob Ross was great at what he did, but yes, how he painted is very different from what I am doing. He painted inside a studio, with stable light, making up the scenes, colors, skies and his happy little clouds and trees as he went along. I paint from direct life in the wilderness as it is, simplifying the scene as I am painting, yet painting what I see. When I want to make stuff up I paint inside the studio instead. I will be producing and recording some music next year 👍
You have sold me on the the use of the old school Fruerhand lantern so much I went and bought 2 of my own......Now I can get back to the old school no noise light while out on camping adventures of my own. Thank you.....Great video!

I love camping myself, especially alone in deserts. But cooking is never a big thing for me. Watching your video makes me want to try a little harder with cooking while camping. It's very soothing watching you with the natural background. Thanks.

Not sure what forest this is but I wish the forests here in New York state had mossy ground like most of your videos. So much more comfortable to bed down in and it reduces noises to a soft hush. Splendid.... :)

I like deserts too. If I'm going to be out for awhile, I hide a food cache in advance. Those surplus Army ammo cans work great for that.
