I'm 38, 5'9, started January at 200 lbs and counted calories at 1800 daily with high protein(150g+), low fat and I lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks (more than I was aiming for) but my hair started falling out at an alarming rate. I've been diagnosed with PCOS since I was a teen and they said this was a symptom, but I've never had any issues... I had bloodwork and my thyroid was off(hypothyroidism), difficient in iron, zinc, Vitamin D while high testosterone, TSH, creatine ... I'm scared to keep restricting and working out hard in case I've shocked my body when it was already in a state of collapse... I bought supplements but I'm wondering if you have any other recommendations for me?? I'm terrified of going bald. 😢😢
Omg this craving no craving thing I noticed recently. I've tried upping protein, fruit and veg recently because it's finally viable (with a lot of help from my parents growing home produce so I'm really lucky that way) I never know what to make for food these days. What am I feeling like, I dunno 😂 Even ice cream after dinner, 3 bites and I'm done. It's WILD.
I get hungry so soon after eating (hunger pains and growling) pretty much all the time. It's infuriating. Any tips to reduce the physical signs of hunger? I try to drink plenty of water but I still just feel insatiable 😂 my partner makes fun of my constantly hungry tummy
Are you eating enough fibre and protein within the meal? Also are your daily calories high enough for your overall activity levels. Deficits can be too low sometimes !

about sleep and deficits: find that calorie deficit triggers my insomnia :/ whenever I eat at maintanance I fall asleep so quickly
