Russian troops refuse to obey orders in Ukraine: 'It's complete b******t'

- Russian soldiers released a video stating they are refusing to obey commands from superiors.
Russia's Wagner Group has claimed to have taken "all the eastern part" of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian town where fighting has raged for weeks.
Pressure has been mounting on Ukrainian troops trying to hold the town against Russian soldiers hoping to capture it no matter the cost.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the Wagner chief and Kremlin ally, said in an audio message released by his press service that "Wagner units have taken all the eastern part of Bakhmut, all that's east of the Bakhmutka river" which bisects the town.
Ukraine has not yet commented, but president Volodymyr Zelensky has said the army is intent on defending Bakhmut and warned that Russians would have an "open road" into eastern Ukraine if the town was captured.

The sad thing about them is that they can't go back home , if they do go back home to Russia and don't fight in Putin's crime then they will be killed because Putin put out a notice to his higher-up military officers to kill anyone that retreats back to Russia and don't fight , once they cross the border into Ukraine it's either fight as told or be killed when they do return to Russia.

A company commander committed to his troops is a rare bird in the Russian army. It took courage to take this stand. He’s put his life on the line to speak out. That’s to be respected. I doubt he avoids a firing squad

Note that this guy doesn't complain about the fact that they're ordered to assault villages in another country. He basically complains that they can't do that effectively and that they're dying too fast.
He can't say he is refusing to soldier because he disagrees with the war, or they will die either way, maybe in some minefield clearance duties that comes with 1 minutes worth of training 🤔
But if I was one of those guys who might have to complete some time in the army because I was drafted, I would want the kit to be able to carry out the mission and defend myself, they are the enemy, but I understand their complaints. But this is clearly a good sign that this will hopefully start to become louder and ultimately overthrow the Russian leaders...fingers crossed

If the West gives missiles to be fired from civilian properties then civilian properties become legitimate targets of war.
If a company has at least 100 men and there are only a dozen left, I would think that leaves them combat ineffective anyway. They should all start walking back to Russia or call the “I don’t want to die” Ukraine hotline and make themselves useful to get Ukraine POWs back.
I suppose walking back alone to Russia means: jail and being shoot for treason. So their protest acts are very limited and fades away in background of propaganda. Plus: these guys see only small picture: we aren't properly prepared. What about others already dead? What about the goal of their war? Stupid brainwashed zombies.
They should dial the surrender hotline asap.
I don't know why the entire Russian army doesn't revolt against Putin. Most of them are in similar appalling circumstances. Trained or untrained, they're just treated like cannon fodder.

1/ they have been socially conditioned to follow orders... 2/ at each decision point, it is easier for the individual to not revolt, rather than to revolt (and possibly get arrested or shot by colleagues or superiors)... 3/ their ability to coordinate mass uprisings have been restricted due to limited access to mass communication equipment and platforms - so they make decisions as individuals (see '2').

It's always the same. Russian soldiers protesting because of equipment issues, corrupt leadership, or because they don't want to die. It's never because they have a problem with their country invading Ukraine, killing Ukrainians or committing war crimes. They're fine with all of that.

It's not a surprise, this is the Russian historical behavior. They always act as if the human being doesn't matter.
They're not refusing orders. I've seen this video, They're just complaining to the leadership that they need better weapons because they have outdated equipment. He says they're willing to fight as long as they get proper weapons and equipment to carry out the job while complaining on how they are treated.

The Russian people are behind their leaders. They agree that UKR in NATO poses an existential threat to Russia. US missiles at Russia's UKR border can destroy Russian cities in minutes. Would the US accept Russian missiles at its Canadian border?

A Kremlin public opinion poll!? 😂 secondly, NATO is a defensive alliance, meaning all for one and one for all in the event of an attack on a member state. Finally, Russia and the US would never launch missiles at one another because of the fear of nuclear escalation resulting in mutually assured destruction - and I’m not sure the narcissist Putin would risk nuclear war to cement his legacy.
