    Lately when I've gone hunting I have used the Alice large pack. Works good so far. I haven't packed to much gear in there so no problem. But I have heard they can be hard on back if over packed.

    Very interesting info. Only problem is you keep saying um. Honestly I used to have the same problem years ago. Best trick I learn for that is give a silent pause instead of Um’s and Ah’s. Take up ToastsMasters that really gave me an edge on my public speaking skills. It’s a cheap and motivating non profit organisation that will boost your speech craft to the next level. All the very best in your endeavours. 👍

    Great pack. Hard to find in the US but look out for the British 45Ltr Bergen in Multicam or MTP as they say. Bomb proof piece of kit.

      Sgt G I'm not familiar with those pack, but I'll have to check them out.

      Sgt G Reason US military doesn't use a British multicam or MTP system there bags show multiple side packs that would make squeezing between treeline either on foot, skiing, rapelling, water crossing true problem. High speed low drag!

    I plan on getting the entire FILBE system at some point. I currently have the entire ILBE system. I do have the FILBE sustainment pouches for my Conibear 110's and 220's, gill net, fishing yoyo's, and fishing tackle. How do you like that Helikon fleece? I have the Helikon Tex Patriot Fleece and it's awesome.

      I like it, but it's a little tight in the shoulders for me.

    For a day hike, FILBE assault or Kelty Raven?

    • @adaptablesurvival
      @adaptablesurvival  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The FILBE assault is about 700 cu. in. smaller than the Raven. So normally I would just use the FILBE. Guess it depends on what you are packing for the day. The Raven definitely is alot more comfortable because for me it felt like I carried northing.
