Nathi Nhleko responds to Mbalula's remarks that he lied about the Nkandla ‘fire pool’

- The ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula's bombshell on the Nkandla saga has caused an uproar within the party, overshadowing the ANC's 112th anniversary celebrations. Mbalula admitted that the ANC lied to protect its former president Jacob Zuma in the upgrading of his Nkandla homestead. This has sparked outrage from the former police minister Nathi Nhleko, who was at the forefront of the multi-million rand security upgrades at Zuma's homestead, refuting Mbalula's claims.
In a leaked audio recording, Nhleko denies that he was instructed to lie about Nkandla's 'firepool', describing Mbalula as the worst ANC Secretary General in the party's history.

Given that, the homestead may be faced with a danger of fire, a swimming pool was then considered as a mitigating element in that regard, thus the term 'Fire Pool'... However the purpose of that swimming pool remained, while in case of emergency(fire) , it will be used as a 'fire pool'. And this determination was reached by a professional, and NOT the ANC as the idiot Mbalula claims.

There is a huge difference between a fire pool and a swimming pool as the pool installed is a swimming pool and yes it can back up as a fire pool. But a fire pool would be far cheaper than a swimming pool. So does not matter which way you want to argue around it ANC did lied.

Which pipe system is used used to fill up the swimming pool? What are toilets in Nkandla using to service a waste removal? It's absolutely not true that there are no taps in the kitchen /s and around the yard. A building in such a magnitude cannot be sactioned to be used as a habitat /residential purpose wheerin hydrants are not fitted as fire hydrants especially when it's going to used by the President of the country and the family putting them at risk. Townships have fire hydrants on the streets. Why would Nkandla be exonerated from having fire hydrants.
