What irritates me about this is when you lose a life you go back to the beginning of the entire level. There should be a checkpoint just prior to the blue gem platform.

I managed to get a Pity check pointt to spawn near the blue gem platforms location just make sure you have enough lives to take advantage of the Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment this game has

I feel like this one got toned down - I remembered there used to be a section of the electrified spiderbots where you had to use them to jump over, matching the pattern of them aiming high and having them on the side.
