Dock block! C'mon people, prep before ya get there. Plus, it's a jet ski....move it down to the end of the dock...the sunscreen bit was more than I could take. I was half expecting them to crack open a beer next..😮
That wasn't hubby out of the truck, it was a citizen that walked from around the corner of the building. I think he coached the driver to back down without hitting lotion boy.
My blood pressure just went out of range watching that wave runner couple . This is how fights start. I've got limited amounts of patience for these ' I have all the time in the world ' punks
Not sure why your videos started popping up on my feed but glad they did. I've watched a bunch now. Super entertaining. Any chance you'll do some filming over at Lake Okeechobee. I'd like to see some expensive bass boat get beat up too. Lol. Keep up the great content.
Reminds me of Canadarago Lake in NY, people don't pull into pre-launch parking areas to load stuff and remove straps, etc, they load up at the dock or park right in the line of traffic and do it there so when someone's ready to launch they can't because they are blocked. People try to rush others on the dock. My favorite is when they launch then park in the post-launch area which is for pulling your boat out and securing it. There are arrows showing launch side and recovery side, but I guess they don't teach arrows in kindergarden anymore so that's pointless. Signs are pointless because people can't read. life preservers are apparently out of style so people don't use them. You can't fix stupid.
People with jet ski were jerks for blocking access. She should have backed away and could have picked up the guy at the end of any of those docks. It's absolute bullshit that people will park their vessel, block the ramp and fart around while others are waiting to launch or retrieve.
I guess we just do things differently up north, never seen a launch dock parallel with the ramp. The dock is always against the bank 90 degrees from the ramp. 😮
This is why my anxiety ridden self refuses to get anything i need a trailoe for 😅 i cant backup and would definitely have issues while learning. Oh man the sweat would be pouring if i saw some dude videoing me for tiktok 😂
I've never been first...until today. 1st comment. Without watching so I could ensure being first. I may take a screen shot to put this on my trophy shelf.
At 0:42 I WOULD NOT have let the little boy hop over the gunnel to the dock. One slip and he's crushed by the boat and then held under water by the hull.
Dont understand why no one unplugs trailer lights when banking into water. Then when taking boat out during tie down plug lights in then. SURE WILL not need to get new bulbs frequently.
I've been boating for over 40 years. In all that time I never unplugged my trailer lights and not one time did I ever blow a bulb or have a wiring failure. I even installed back-up lights on the back of the trailer as it was usually night time by the time I got home from a boating trip. If you actually maintain your trailer properly, including your lights and wiring, everything should be watertight and never let water in. Silicone grease is your friend... In addition, all modern lighting is LED therefore shock cooling a white hot filament is no longer an issue on newer stuff...
Guy holding up the dock with his ski - textbook narcissism at its best. I'm surprised he didn't take out his cell phone and text for 10 minutes after lathering up. I suppose the act of a 4 ton boat headed his way was a subtle enough hint. I'd type what I think of that guy but the TH-cam Gods would not approve. After all, they're perfect.
Devils Advocate here: the jet ski has the full right of way as any other vessel. The same argument could have been used for the center console during the first try. Both are at the dock prior to the Ford backing into the water. Just cuz it is smaller doesn't mean that they don't the right to be there just like the center console. Besides you are boating, what is a couple of minutes. If I was the jet ski, yes, I would have handled it differently but I am also very courteous when on the water. Not everyone is as proficient or skilled when it comes to boating as everyone would like everyone else to be.
In spirit you're right, Jeff. In the real world, the jet ski guy should have said, "Wait a sec and I'll move around to the front of the dock so you can launch." The skier definitely overstayed his welcome by doing the trivial things - all of which could have been done beforehand. It all comes down to putting the narcissism in Neutral and just being nice. Sadly, that is not the way of the world anymore.
Docking a boat and getting on the trailer is elementary level stuff. If you can’t do that without issue.., then you shouldn’t own a boat.. not to mention just backing the thing down the ramp.,, I mean…. Really??
How do you get experience docking a boat or loading one on the trailer, not to mention backing the thing down the ramp, without buying a boat? Everyone has to do it for the first time sometime to get experienced.
Everybody goes threw a learning curve with trailer backing ,,, except the guy with no boat sitting in the weeds talking shit about other peoples skill. I have no excuse for the jetski bunch theyre just asse
Sorry, are there any smart folks that have boats in FL? All we see on this and other channels are STUPID! 1 person in truck and one in boat and you do not block anything! I drove my truck and wife was in the boat and we were in the water off the trailer and cleared the water and vehicle in under a minute! Same for loading boat on trailer. Of course that was 40 years ago.
True but the jet ski guy overstayed his time by deliberately engaging in trivial stuff that should have been done elsewhere. Launch and get the heck out of the way. Other boats are waiting to go!!
I think I'm with the jetski users. Why did the clowns in the boat reverse when someone else was there? Use another ramp or wait. I would've done the same thing.
Because the jetski users were clearly taking up the lane to be assholes, that's why. They're either too stupid to understand etiquette or they were doing it on purpose, either way they need to be made to understand it's not ok to sit there and do nothing while people are CLEARLY waiting. Sincerely - a Jetski Owner
@@pweter351 Agreed. They were there first BUT overstayed their welcome by engaging in trivial stuff that could have easily been done elsewhere. I think the fellow in the black boat assumed the jet ski was ready to launch as soon as the narcissist owner showed up. Guess he was wrong.
Jetski boy is unbelievable!!

There's the jet skier etiquette I'm used to seeing !
The first thing my wife & I bought for our boat was a pair of radios.
!

Just relax mister!
The truck had an open ramp to start with, just take it.

Bass boaters are nearly always prepared, and quick - at launching and retrieving.
I can only take a few minutes of this insanity and I have to turn away. The stupidity and disrespect of some people is just stunning.
I would have started backing in. Just push em out of the way... lol
100% f those guys lol
The girl on the jetski could have easily moved
But why? They were there first. The boat people appear to just reverse down while someone is already there. That's rude.
Unconscious, like most boaters!
@@ColoRadoSNOWrider he definitely took his sweet ass time. I assume payback to the rude boaters.

I can assure you, that woman has absolutely no knowledge of that ski's operation - including how to start it, probably.

Wow thrilling
Black had open dock launch there
That looks like fun, & kind of scary!
Here I am trying to scrape together
enough money for my car insurance payment. Where's my Justice?
At 4:15 what dock you filming ? It's Definity not 79th, it's not Black point, great work none-the less.
I avoid the ramps on weekends like the plague

I used to be amazed at how bad some people were at backing up at the boat ramp.
Do they no longer use (or sell) fenders in Florida? Unbelievable.
They would have a little pocket rocket for a jetski also. lol
I feel his frustration just watching this.
If the person standing in the boat knew how to operate it, the driver could've put it between the 2nd and 3rd ramp and been out of there in seconds.
If you think boat ramps are bad? You should see the fuel lanes at a truck stop.
At 0:42 I WOULD NOT have let the little boy hop over the gunnel to the dock. One slip and he's crushed by the boat and then held under water by the hull.
Why don't you ever give us a video of you doing the launch & retrieve? Just so we see how it is done.
Now you're talking I tell you 10 times faster than what I see on this video
Much like Sasquatch its a rare sighting and hard to catch on video.
Ignorant Jet Skiers. The nice folks in the boat were way more patient then I could have been.

Because modern boat trailers are built to be submerged?

Expensive SUV to impress others with barely enough towing capacities, financed boat too...can't back up and taillight out...glad I sold my boat
