I saw you on your TH-cam channel. I had been watching some Eastern European folk dances, primarily Russian, Polish and Ukrainian, as my ancestors are of Polish and Ukrainian decent, they left their homes before the Russian revolution around 1917, all four grandparents were teenagers.
While watching these folk dances, I saw a video of the most beautiful and unusual dance I’ve ever seen, The Caucasian Wedding dance where the dancers looked as though they were floating across the floor.
Now I’ve been so interested in learning more about Circassian culture and history. Thank you for what you are doing to preserve the language of your ancestors.

I am a Spanish-speaking Salvadorean, and I am not of Circassian descent, but recently I have been increasingly interested on learning адыгэбзэ (I am not speacially attracted by any particular dialect, but at least learning Kabardian, the most accesible variant, would be nice to me). I search for resources like videos and stuff to learn адыгэбзэ, but damn, there are too little, and there is practically nothing to read, except the адыгэ version of Wikipedia, which is by the way in both Adyghe and Kabardian standards, though both are of bad quality, although the Kabardian ones is the less dissapointing. I have learned the Cyrillic alphabet, and have some grammars and dictionaries (Russian-Kabardian-Russian) on the language... I think I am going to improve my Russian first, and then I will start my journey to learn the Circassian language.
I think more Circassian speakers should be aware of their language and teach it online and pass it on to the generations, and foreigners!

Thank you for this upload. I wish there were 2-3 millions of Circassians in Turkey but I strongly doubt about that. If you ask me, there are around 500-800 thousand Circassians in Turkey. Nearly %40 are Qabartei(your tribe) and the rest is Shapsığ, Abhzeh, Natuquai, Hatuquai, Jana etc. Wonderful culture, and most of them are really well-mannered people. But the vast majority of the young people do not speak "at all". A real tragedy. In places like Uzun Yayla ad Düzce, Adapazarı etc, there are some villages where young people also speak a bit. Pity to say that the language is dying. Hopefully it will survive in RF. Best Regards

The biggest issue for Circassians today is the forced assimilation. Those who were slapped to not speak their native language, those who lost their jobs because they spoke their native language, those who were forced to move because they were Circassian need their rights
Music and dance is not enough. Why Turkey doesnt allow elementary schools in Circassian?
This is the same right Turks demand for Turkish minorities in other countries
Only Russia and Jordan have elementary schools in circassian. It is time for Turkey to live up to their responsibility

although two years have already passed, but I will answer you, we all understand Circassians and communicate with each other without problems, the differences are mainly in dialect and some endings in words, after talking with each other for about 20 minutes and the problems completely disappear, by the way, I am a Kabardian from kind of Jonty, but I live in my historical homeland.

Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the historical Israelites of antiquity, but they are from Khazars.
The Khazars who converted to Judaism in the 8th century migrated westwards into current Eastern Europe (primarily Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Hungary and Germany) in the 12th and 13th centuries when the Khazar Empire was collapsing.
