Very informative, I'm still undecided on which course to choose as I initially did the UJ ITC course...So I'm a bit concerned about switching to the UCT course for APC? Any advice?
Maybe first understand why you hesitant first before i can advise. Both courses work, they just offer the programme differently. You would have to think about your client portfolio, your group members, and which program best suits your needs
Hi Lesego, I hope you are well. Thank you for sharing all this information. How did you balance SAICA admin with the board course assignments and work?
It was really difficult. I had a lot of mom guilt but I had to remember that if I did it right the first time, I won’t have to feel the pain/guilt anymore. Lots of family support and my husbands support. I made the decision to ask my family to look after her during the week and on weekends we would fetch her but I was away almost every Saturday and Sunday morning to go to the office and prepare. Lots of prayer and reaffirming that I’m not a bad mom, that it’s just a very demanding work season that will eventually end. And therapy!! It’s a challenge mommy but trust me when it’s over you are validated that you a real warrior that defies odds. Best of luck ❤️
