12/24/23 right about midnight. I’m listening to this for about the 50th time in the last two days. I just discovered it and I can’t stop playing it over and over again. Kaylee is just incredible as well as all the classmates. God has blessed each and everyone of you.

no one has a soul. thats science fiction. now, when certain tones and pictures or what may have you, releases chemicals in your brain and you feel emotions. funny how science works. but you want to think of GOD that says worship me or fear me.... but yet never shown up? GL
The school needs all the support and appreciation it can get. They not only came up with Christmas-themed lyrics but captured the real spirit of Christmas. The School not only encouraged Kaylee's unique talent but it included the entire chorus in an uplifting performance. I cannot imagine there was a dry eye in the audience. A story of hope. Congratulations to the teachers and parents.
Well fairmagic. I had to the first time experienced this little girl singing. I agree with your comment. And I said I believe that Kaylee must have a beautiful soul and that her Mother must have a beautiful soul as well.

As a father with an autistic daughter I just want to thank you for doing what you do your an inspiration to my daughter and it means the world to me that she has such a great example of over coming her fears and doing what she's passionate about.
As a 43-year old father of two little girls and the man who has to live everyday of his life with a learning disability called, "Nonverbal Learning Disorder", or "NVLD", thank you for your generous patience with your daughter. Everyone focuses on the CHILDREN with significant learning hurdles, but once you leave academia it's like, "Whelp! Not MY problem anymore! Having a Wife and two beautiful little girls and a house we were able to finance through my VA lone is about the only thing that makes me feel truly "normal". We ABSOLUTELY need to start young with intervention and preparing children with these challenges to grow into healthy adults who can handle themselves in the real world. I watched a video documentary not long ago, and I'd seen it before, but I watch it again every now and again as a reminder about things and for perspective, but it's a short documentary/Public Service Announcement about women...GROWN WOMEN, with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)and it's fascinating. God Bless you and your daughter! By the way, if she ever gets to feeling down about Autism, let her know that in my youth, there was a bombshell actress who had ASD; her name is Deryl Hannah!
I, for one, cannot get the original lyrics and force of the song out of my head....a sadomasochistic version of David’s sin with Bathsheba. (She tied you to the kitchen chair) And drags from his lips a “hallelujah” from the sexual pleasure of it. Hallelujah means. “Praise the Lord.” Thus David, according to Coen, is not only beginning an unseemly affair, but is also mocking God while doing it. Illicit sex is not an act of worship. She got pregnant, and to hide what he did, David killed her husband. This was a horrible thing he did and would later be personally tortured by the thought of it...he would repent, but would feel awful about it for a long time. The original song glorifies his shame. People like to mindlessly sing Hallelujah without any knowledge of the context. The melody and tune are indeed good, the girl who sings it is sweet, but it’s hard to lift the melody away from the lyrics for many devout Christians.
@@davidt8173 butchered...the young lady was non verbal autistic and people just can't appreciate how she overcame that disability through finding music. She is a champion.
Such an angelic voice. This may be a Christmas song but I listen to it often. Kaylee is a special child of God with a God given gift of voice. Hope she continues to do new songs.
When I first heard this song, a couple of years ago, it felt like the Holy Spirit touched my soul and I cried. It drew me closer to god!!! Now I listen and smile. Thank you Kaylee, you and your classmates are truly doing Gods work
I have heard this song from many professionals but Kaylee and these children have them all beat. I listen to this every time i”m down and it brings me up. This school is amazing with these blessed children. Kaylee you are amazing! God bless!
Children singing unto the Lord just blesses my heart, and it is said that a child will lead them. Praise God and Hallelujah unto our Savior and King 👑 Jesus whom is coming back for his bride the church. God bless you Kaylee and precious kids that sang unto the Lord with all their heart. We are all to have child like faith and come to Him as little children. 💕🙏🕊
August 10, 2024 still listening to this loving song. Thank you Kaylee, your choir classmates, your dad at the piano, your mom and the entire school personnel who all came together to record an outstanding, moving and an inspirational song. Thank you very much.

I've always loved this song. It means so much more to me, now that my baby girl has gone to live in Heaven. Shelby, I miss you so much. Merry Christmas.
Sorry for your loss. I have a feeling your daughter is happy you enjoy this song because she feels happy when you listen to music. She is listening with you!
I’m so Sorry about your los ❤️🩹 I hope your heart heals. She must be most beautiful angel. One day we will have a chance to reunite with our loved ones I’m sorry.
I'm so very sorry for your extremely painful and extremely heartbreaking loss. I hope that with the love and support from family that you can get through this extremely painful time.
Dear Kaylee and dear children, I place you all in the heart of Jesus. May He keep you innocent and protect you from all harm. May He especially protect Kaylee from the vanity that so often ruins famous and successfull people! Thanks and glory to Him for everything! Thank you for your song, Kaylee! God bless you all!
The first time I heard this version of Hallelujah it stole my soul and a tear or two trickled down my cheek. Now when I listen to it I feel pure joy, not just because of the words to the song, but to listen to a little girl who has overcome so much along with her classmates. God's gift to us all!!
I ran across this on TH-cam around Christmas 2018. I have watched and listened at least 100 times - and nary a single one goes by without my having tears in my eyes. What a tribute to such special people at Killard House! It isn't just about Kaylee, it's about the choir of those wonderful children behind her and the teachers and staff that made this happen! That said, Kaylee's voice is tremendous to me, for a 10 year-old with a troubled life. More than her voice is the passion with which she sings this song. Without that, it might just be "ordinary". Her obvious passion for the song and her lifting herself to heaven as she runs up the chords to Hallelujah, these are some of what makes me show this to everyone I know! At the time it's mid-April and I've been virtually locked in my home for a month or more. I've watched and listened at least 10 times just today and Hallelujah,,,, I am feeling much better than I was this morning,,,, although my eyes are red and moist. My thanks to those who put this online for all of us and to this very special school. May your endeavors all be so wonderful!
This is a beautiful song and I love the way this young girl really puts a lot of feeling in it. That is the only way that you can feel the annointing of the song because she feels it. Such a beautiful song and the words are beautiful. Thank God you really feel. Jesus right here with you or you feel transported closer to. Him. Life is rough sometimes and it refreshing to be right there with. Jesus very close for a few moments and to be reminded of how much. Jesus loves us. God bless all of the children singing.
For those that don't know........... the issues "different" people have to deal with... in the "old days" you were beaten and locked away. The old tough guy's eyes well with tears at this beautiful little girl knowing how hard it is for her and the other kids......
So beautiful, my wife is a devout Catholic, sad to sad that that I've always been a bar fighting guy until I met the angel that I'm sure saved my. After 25 years I'm not sure why she was sent to me. To my wife, I love you.
Whoever disliked this video doesn’t understand great music! This is so very beautiful!! 😇 Thank you Kaylee for sharing your beautiful talent with the world!! 😁🙏
Swim Life There is such a trend to not appreciate talent for what it is and where it comes from. Is this the Mormon Tabernacle Choir? No. Are they talented, darling children? Yes. I feel that way when people get into “who was the best ValJean”? Many people played the part, many excelled in different aspects. Enjoy the moment!
I think when one considers that these are children with conditions that make it more difficult for them to do the same things other kids do daily then the real power of this comes to light. These kids have a hard time focusing due to Autism and ADHD but they came together and gave one incredibly amazing performance. So good in fact I listened to it several times and watched it and never realized they were children with those two conditions. The fact that they pulled off such an amazing performance speaks volume for those who help teach and guide them.
My dear sweet mother Mary Anne sent this link to me in late October, a month or so before she passed in 2017. It breaks my heart every time I hear it, but I can't stop. Especially around the anniversary of her death. I miss you Mom.
It’s a joy to hear children that want to sing to the LORD! I’ve listened to this I can’t remember how many times. It sounds better every time. This is the rendition I prefer! Bless you children please stay with the LORD.
A very nice and touching rendition. Not only is the lead singer talented, but the camera work was amazing for a school production and the accompaniment and sound engineering as well. A really amazing production overall. When I first saw this I did not realize that anyone in it suffered from any disabilities, I only learned that by looking up the school. Anyone who participated in making this production should be very proud. A true credit to the Killard House School and all of the work that is done there. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the World.
It always warms my heart listening to Kaylee and the children sing. God has definitely blessed the Killard House. I showed my grandchildren these videos and they watch them many times a day. I am 55 and I do the same! Kaylee is such a blessing.
So amazing that a girl can be so shy yet have such a powerful voice. She may not be talkative to those who speak to her but she sings a song and touches the hearts of so many who really needed to hear this and show them God has not forsaken them.
No matter how many timesI hear this amazing song, I get tears in my eyes, but this time was so special because of Kaylee and her classmates singing with her in the background. Also reading all of the comments just restores my soul and makes me so thankful and happy.
This video is 7 years old and I'm hearing it for the first time right now. Anybody else got the chills cuz yeah all over my body goosebumps. This is amazing
Hallelujah, my children. I'm an 80-year-old disabled retired Vietnam Veteran. You lift my spirit and soul with your voices so loud and clear. Thank you. 🙂
Beautiful! When I heard these lyrics I heard the meaning that honors the melody and chords Leonard Cohen allowed us to witness from the depths of his soul. Whoever wrote this cover revealed the hope in the “baffled king’s” composition. Humans seeking respite in our Lord’s compassion. Kaylee and these children also find healing respite in their singing. Thank you for sharing their angelic voices with the world and for helping me, personally, heal.
11/2/2024 !!! Listening to this as worship leaders in our church and we are amazed at what God can do !! Incredible work by this group and Praise the Lord!!
A beautiful song sung by a beautiful little girl with such a beautiful innocent voice and a stunning smile to boot. Well done precious girl and well done to the school for finding her and for getting all the children involved. It warms the heart.
Stunning!!!!!!! I've had this on a loop for 2 days and haven't heard it nearly enough. "God taught babies and children to offer perfect praise". Bless you Kaylee.
She really is such a beautiful young girl. Both her and all of the other kids that are singing along with her all have such beautiful voices. I really wish all of them and their families nothing but the very best for the rest of their lives.
I’m sitting in my truck just with my thoughts someone posted this on Facebook this is so beautiful Christmas came early this year God bless these children.
I have watched and listen to these BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD over the years and they always remind me of how Wonderful and AMAZING GOD truly is. Thank you LORD for once again showing me the beauty of your Creation!!!
I've heard a lot of covers of this song, and not one of them could I feel. This I can feel. She has such control - subtle wavers that sound like crying without over-singing - Leonard Cohen himself would probably cry at this cover. It's gorgeous in ways I don't have words to describe.
I believe that Kaylee and kids like her are going to be the ones they give the privilege of singing in heaven! Wow, this is so moving. Merry Christmas.
your voice just about melted this old Texas boy's heart. I've never heard a more beautiful voice in all my life. keep up the good work, and don't let the small things get you down. I'm sure you'll go far in life.
God bless to you and all your friends for making this video possible. Pouring out love across the world touching many hearts, with such a lovely voice. I only wish you could be in my choir someday, but God bless, keep singing praise for Jesus for ever and ever Amen love Michael

I hardly know what to say! She sings for all of us, regardless of our religious beliefs. The emotion she conveys in this song speaks to all or us
A very nice and touching rendition.
That child has an epic voice. Gives you chills, brings tears to your eyes
Oh my goodness. Kaylee, sweetheart, your voice is purely the voice of an angel. Please keep singing because You have an unbelievable voice.
I'm sure Leonard Cohen would have been thrilled to hear such a beautiful and moving rendition of his song!
It always warms my heart listening to Kaylee and the children sing. God has definitely blessed the Killard House. I showed my grandchildren these videos and they watch them many times a day. I am 55 and I do the same! Kaylee is such a blessing.
THE FATHER THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT WHAT A VOICE OF AN ANGEL
It's 9/11/24 and this is still my favorite version. ❤
So amazing that a girl can be so shy yet have such a powerful voice. She may not be talkative to those who speak to her but she sings a song and touches the hearts of so many who really needed to hear this and show them God has not forsaken them.
Счастья тебе,девочка.Да хранит тебя и всех деток Господь!
Thank you. 🙂
And, thank you for carrying the cross you have from Vietnam. Bless you.
I have a 12 year old son in the spectrum and you are an inspiration
An angel with an amazing voice

I am smiling and crying with a full heart. Beautiful. Amazing voice and articulation, I will now keep my ears open for all your music❤
One of the best versions of this song I’ve ever heard. Well done to them all.
August of 2024 Still listening to! Such a Beautiful Soul
We hear Kaylee singing down here in Kingsville, Texas as well.
