When I was in the lowest part of my life and couldn’t get control of the alcohol and depression I would listen to this song and sing to the top of my lungs with this precious child, I was crying begging god to help. He did help me. I have been sober 1-1/2 years now.

I fell in love with this version a long time a go , when my mum got cancer I played this to her, she loved it and wanted it to be played at her funeral, during the last 24hrs of her life I played this to her lots of times and I sang along to it as I sat holding her hand, she’s been gone now for 3 weeks, I miss her everyday, but after her funeral so many ppl walked up to me and said how much they loved this song and a few ppl said that’s want to be played at their funeral, thank you Kaylee, your voice and talent are a true gift from god,I now am finding some comfort when I play this now, and now I look at this song as my mums and my special song as this song was with us in her final day on earth before she left for heaven 😢

Come back in 30 years and get her to sing it again. Maybe she will make a definitive version. But at age about 8, she has not the experience to sing it properly. This is a song that requires some pretty severe hardship to understant properly.

12 months ago I battled glioblastoma, at the start of each chemo session, I'd play this in my headphones. I'm in remission somehow, brain tumours have shrunk and all but vanished. I learnt last week I now am going to battle again with lymphoma. I don't fear this disease, not as long as I can her sing. The feeling of hopelessness, to no fear at all is so incredible it's indescribable. I'm not religious, but I am when I hear her sing.

This song, sung by a previously non verbal child with severe disabilities and backed up by a choir of other similar children.... When you listen to this if you didn't believe in God before, I'm betting that if you truly close your eyes, open your ears and heart that you will be moved to tears because of the power this represents. Through these children, God is showing us that he made all of us amazing in our own ways and if you believe in him, he will show you what you're meant for.

I'm 35 years old and I can tell you it doesn't Matter your age, this girl has a voice to Charm the savage beast. Her class mates are no exception. To stand on stage in front of a group takes great courage and I applaud them well.
I too , watch this a lot . The first time I saw it was in a recovery center 3 days after my heart began to skip , I now have a few days more than 1 year clean and sober . To this very day each and every time I watch “ this version” I get a lump in my throat than tear up and begin crying ‘ really crying’ a pond of happiness.
