    You have answered that question now and it seems quite obvious, no money for pharmaceutical companies to invest in such products.

    Dr I need help! I'm loosing obsene amount of hair after a salon based chemical straightening. The chemical wasn't washed out properly of my head and my scalp health deteriorarted initially. Also, my hair were damaged. I've lost more than 60 percent hair in 6 months all over scalp and still shedding isn't subsiding. I can see regrowth. I'm taking treatment from the very beginning. I've taken hair fact and other prescribed vitamins. The hairloss was extremely severe. Is there a chance that my follicles got damaged as there was no burn! Please suggest the right line of treatment. I was suggested minoxidil but didn't use as it started as talogen effluvium and i thought that id have to rely on it lifetime. So, I took homeopathy treatment. However, it turned to fphl so, I'm really looking forward to more practical allopathy treatments. Please suggest

    I moved to London 3 years ago and back home green tea is predominant beverage. I had hair loss even before that, but it got a lot worse once I moved. HELLO NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!...I am 21 years old and I am having MPB too. Past 1.5years, my temple area have been mild receeded as suggested by my dermatologist. I have started medications 2months ago like derma rolling, rosemary plus coconut oil and taking vitamins biotin as supplements. The temple area is still the same, there are some baby hairs. But I dont know if they grew after medication or its the existing hairs that got thinned. My derma suggested me minox., but I dont want to use it right now because of its life long treatment. Can you please share your thoughts??

      @INSOMNI_A
      Well it normally takes at least 4-6 months for a new hair treatment to really show its benefits so I wouldn't give up on what you're currently doing if you're cause is MPB the most important thing to do to prevent further hair loss is to block your DHT with something like finasteride or even look into natural DHT blockers if you want to stay the natural route I understand not wanting to take a medication long term but it's just 1 pill 3-5 times a week if you have side effects just stop same thing with minoxidil I understand not wanting to use it it took me years to get desperate enough to try it but it only takes a few minutes applying it each day its like brushing your teeth and if you can't stand it just stop you could also look into low level laser if you absolutely don't want to use medication

      I apply minoxidil once every day, microneedle once a week and then apply a mixture of pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil twice a week. The oils are quite nice since I found in the first week of minoxidil after about 6 days my scalp starts to feel a little dry so applying the oils twice a week stopped this

    Thanks for videos on Natural remedies.
    Please do help me with my query
    Why didn't Saw palmetto breakthrough into your list ?
    Doesn't taking a lot of 5 alpha inhibitors affect the systemic DHT levels which are used by many other body sources ?
    In such a scenario topical or scalp level 5 alpha inhibitors compared to systemic are better ?
    If so do we have any options for that now ?

    • @imaginova88
      @imaginova88 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you watched the video properly, you would've heard him say that he's already covered saw palmetto previously, and that this list is in addition to that. 3.18😉
      Edit, in response to your second query, the natural DHT blockers are not nearly as strong as finasteride, hence you will experience minimal if any side effects taking the natural supps.
      For your third query, I would like to hear his response, from what I know, I'd say systemic is more effective than topical, but more potential side effects.

    Hi everyone,
    i have a question that i want some advice on. I started taking finasteride and minoxidil about 4 months ago and noticed amazing results and a lot of regrowth. after the 4 months mark which is now, i have noticed when i shower or rub my hair a lot of hair falling out a lot more than normal or more than the first 3 months which was virtually none. is this normal or due to something changing in my lifestyle? the only difference i have made was i began to take creatine as i exercise daily.

    • @milioner55
      @milioner55 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly the same thing is happening to me. I was taking finasteride and it worked very well but after 4 months the hair is flying like crazy, about 300-400 a day. Also, I started taking creatine. 2 weeks ago I changed from finasteride to dutasteride but so far I don't see any change.

    I was on finasteride for seven months. I ended up getting gynecomastia and had to stop it. After a year off finasteride, half my hair gains went away.
    Currently, I'm on minoxidil + microneedling + redensyl + topical saw palmetto + rosemary oil + ketoconazole shampoo. I kid you not, this regime has grown more hair in one and a half months than finasteride grew in seven months! No sides, nothing. I've never been happier.

      @@im_that_guy Abstract
      Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a plant native to Europe and has been widely used as a carminative and gastric stimulant worldwide. This plant also has been used in cosmetic formulations as a fragrance component and skin conditioning agent. This study investigated the effect of peppermint oil on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice. The animals were randomized into 4 groups based on different topical applications: saline (SA), jojoba oil (JO), 3% minoxidil (MXD), and 3% peppermint oil (PEO). The hair growth effects of the 4-week topical applications were evaluated in terms of hair growth, histological analysis, enzymatic activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and gene expression of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), known bio-markers for the enhanced hair growth. Of the 4 experimental groups, PEO group showed the most prominent hair growth effects; a significant increase in dermal thickness, follicle number, and follicle depth. ALP activity and IGF-1 expression also significantly increased in PEO group. Body weight gain and food efficiency were not significantly different between groups. These results suggest that PEO induces a rapid anagen stage and could be used for a practical agent for hair growth without change of body weight gain and food efficiency.
      Just google ncbi peppermint oil vs minoxidil...note the study was done with mice
