I think that Z4 is on the OEM runflats. Probably means it was dealer mantained and that someone took good care of it. As for the E46, something tells me there is a story behind that car. Could be another LeMons car
I bought a 2003 Z4 with 49k miles from the original owner that needed a ton of work in September 2019 for $2600. I've put about $3k into it and it's perfect now, but I learned that Z4 specific parts can get expensive. The mechanical parts weren't too bad from FCP EURO though. It is a fun car and worth spending a few bucks on in my opinion. Good luck!
Get the Z4. Has run flat tires, they lose air but you can’t tell, they are hard, unless the TPS light pops up, which I see is on. I have a 2007 3.0 manual 6 speed, 59k miles. Loads of fun.
Hey Randy my family and I were just in Shawnee Oklahoma over the weekend to visit my brother at college and while we were there, we took a day to visit Oklahoma City. We went to the federal building bombing memorial museum and afterwards, walked around downtown a bit to see the sights. Later, we drove by what I believe is the copart that you do your videos at. Very nice.
The smoke is pretty normal on these e46 mine can smoke for almost 1 hour sometimes and it's just condensation, the smell could just be the fact that the owner got rid of the cats and if it's oil usually it's the ccv that needs to be replaced overall it's pretty rough but for the right price it could be a good project
BMW 330xi - burning oil is the CCV aka PCV system. cheap and fairly easy to fix. Z4 is worth fixing too. AWD + stick E46 will def continue to rise in value plus that engine is known to be very good. everything else around it will break before the engine does. i own a 05 e46 performance package
I can almost guarantee that the rear frame on that F150 is perfectly fine, the bumper brackets on these old 80s and early 90s F150s (and a little later F250s) would absorb the impact of a rear end hit and tuck under, out of the way protecting the rear frame. The Rangers of the era and deep into the 2000s did the same thing. It's a shame that newer vehicles don't do that. I've seen many of this gen F-Series and Rangers do just that. I love that generation of F-150s, too. I love that Z4, too. I do have Michelin Premacy tires on my MKZ, the beginning of the tire model is MXM4, I'm not sure if my tire is totally the same but probably similar to those on the Z4. They are great tires but crazy expensive, I think I paid about $250 a piece for mine (now that was at the Ford dealer). They're definitely worth the money though. I do not believe that they are run-flats. Great tires though. I hope that you're able to get the Z4. I really wish it was a stick though. If it has been repaired and has a reserve, I bet someone purchased it from the insurance company that originally sold it and is looking to make a profit on it. It'd be interesting to see what the current owner paid for it at auction. Please check it out at Auto Auction IO and let us know what it originally sold for. I personally think that the last BMW is worth taking a chance on, too. Sure it looks a little worn but considering the mileage not bad. I bet you could pick it up cheap, throw a cheapish set of new tires on it and a cheap Maaco paint job and have a great little car that you could still sell for a reasonable price and make a profit and someone would be happy to get it. That car would look AWESOME in the red you painted your Mustang in. I don't even think you'd have to fix the dents (other than maybe trying to fix that fender corner, and she'd be a looker and I bet you'd find a buyer quickly, plus...... It has a clutch pedal!!!! [X][X] [] You really need to get that one, Randy. It'll be a fun car and I think you'll find a buyer pretty easily, especially with fresh paint and a good cleaning.
Somebody had that second BMW set up for drifting. That's why their where slotted and drilled rotors on the back and the exhaust smells so bad with burning oil. That thing is toast.
Hi Randy. Thank you for another good video!! I think out of all of them you need to get the for door bmw, not just because it a for door but because it looks awesome with the finders looking like the are, also the old ford would be cool to parts are all over the pick and pull yards well here in texas they are. 😂. Hope you are doing good and keep you the gr8t work and see you on the next one!!!
I would take a chance on that F150 for the right price and definitely keep the headache rack! That Z4 is sweet! If I ever splurged for a BMW m, that would be the one.
Randy this was yet another epic walkaround especially with a Corvette and a Z4 and that AWD 5-SPEED MANUAL 330 , this was an excellent walkaround , Randy please even if you don't get the corvette , you atleast got to watch it bcos you never know , its a good one and with that such low miles its a score Randy , its a good one and I'm sure it runs!!!! its the wrong key it has like your Mercury cougar and can be easily fixed its all bolt - on's that it requires , of course the price it goes for matters so I'd say its good upto a 4500$ maybe pushing 5000$ and you can sell it for more bcos its a good model as you said and low miles , please try to bring it to the channel . But Randy I'm hoping your hands come on the Z4 yep she's clean and good , and just need's suspension and some wheel's / tire replaced and put some good exhaust on it and some awesome content , good one Randy , hoping to deepest possible that you get it , perfect car just like your beautiful beast 400$ mustang baby !!!! And Randy please don't just leave the 330 stick AWD please , that car is filled with fun and excitement and performance like Your mustang AND that Z4 yes it is , please try to get it and that smoke from the exhaust could be a lot of oil but if it by any chance is coolant you know the solution if the Mercury cougar could get solved so can this Randy with the HEAD GASKET SEALER and the repairs it needs is very very simple , it will be score Randy trust me bcos by looks surely not much will it sell for so please try it it is a good one please!!!! and most of all I fell in love with its exhaust note , be it just straightpiped , even still it sound's awesome . Good content Randy , excellent work , keep it up , God bless and stay safe.
E46 manual no warning lights, she needs saving if it's cheap enough, just think when she's finished and all Don properly. What great cars come on Randy you know you want it lol.
The color you're wanting to know of on that Z4 is called Sterling Grey Metallic. I like those, but for repair sake, and overall reliability, give me a Miata. Thanks for the video, Randy.
If they are going to keep using aluminum for body panels, then they need to change the design of the rear quarter panels to be like front fenders and make them so you can replace them by unbolting them and swapping in new. Too many cars are being junked by minor damage that is too hard to fix because of aluminum body panels.
It good for the stick for the other car and it's not hard to change over with everything and make it all wheel drive that would be cool put everything from the other car in the smoker
Randy, do you know what the letters at the end of the lot number,on the stickers mean? I know X means it's an Insurance car, C is for Customer, But do you know what P is for, private?
With the BMW, I saw a bluish tint to the smoke on camera so I'm guessing there's oil mixed in there somewhere (D'oh!) - I guess it could be a bad head gasket (D'oh!). If you wanted to have some fun with it (and it would be content for the channel as well as pretty easy to get those body parts for) maybe up to five or $600?
Randy, the next time you do a Copart walk around will you please make an effort to show the stock number as you pass by so we can follow along with the listing? Generally speaking the cars are sold before you videos come out so there is no chance of anybody buying it before you have that chance. Please.
I would buy it, I would fix the panels rather than replace, rhino coat the car, get a new bumper or make my own, probably lift it and that would make that AWD BMW a perfect winter/fun off roader if it could be bought cheap enough. To use a few weeks out of the year when there's snow on the ground or a beater for having some fun with on private land is perfect for that car and the mileage wouldn't even matter.
E46 xi's leak oil profusely. Oil seal jobs require yet again, premium parts to do them correctly to repair/maintain. M52tu/m54 ccv systems aren't horrible, but will require maintanance (premium).
You have a lift man but for most of those miner frame damage car's and and trucks you need to get a small frame machine in your shop and play around with some cheap cars Randy.
I've seen someone driving around with a rim like that with air in it and yes it is a miracle but somehow is a possible I've also seen a rim with the side completely knocked out and yet still driving on it
I actually like that e46 especially with a manual and no warning lights!!
But not with the smoke tho 😂
I was almost sold.
I think that Z4 is on the OEM runflats. Probably means it was dealer mantained and that someone took good care of it.
As for the E46, something tells me there is a story behind that car. Could be another LeMons car
Let's make a bet about what Randy will get if he buy anything....my pick is either the F150 or the last BMW th
Great video !
The mustang looks nice with the new rims and paint
Great job 👍🏾
The Z4 at the right price would be a great collab with M539
That Mercedes ML350 4matic is so beautiful
I bought a 2003 Z4 with 49k miles from the original owner that needed a ton of work in September 2019 for $2600. I've put about $3k into it and it's perfect now, but I learned that Z4 specific parts can get expensive. The mechanical parts weren't too bad from FCP EURO though. It is a fun car and worth spending a few bucks on in my opinion. Good luck!
Somebody loved that old Ford, looks real nice
Get the Z4. Has run flat tires, they lose air but you can’t tell, they are hard, unless the TPS light pops up, which I see is on.
I have a 2007 3.0 manual 6 speed, 59k miles. Loads of fun.
i love both the bmw's i hope you get them both. would love to see you work on them.
I was wondering where you were today good to see you again keep safe buddy
I had an 02 540 the same color. Looks the best when it's cloudy
Very nice.
I love the new paint and rims on the mustang you brought her back to life great job I hope you win the z4 sending love and respect from Boston 💯💙💙🙏🙏
Stay away from that smoking BMW
Randy u need to buy this e46 BMW its a very fun car.
E46 is great, unfortunately this particular one is pretty rough. I mean, maybe for a few hundred to mess with but I wouldn’t go fixing body panels.
Well I guess you right.
that z4 is still fun too
ZP on the tires means "zero pressure" yep run flats.
wow i thought the only run flats common are these michellin pax system ones on the RR & honda odyssey 😯 or r these those 😄?
@@noeyedeer4227 theres several different brands of run flats nowadays
The smoke is pretty normal on these e46 mine can smoke for almost 1 hour sometimes and it's just condensation, the smell could just be the fact that the owner got rid of the cats and if it's oil usually it's the ccv that needs to be replaced overall it's pretty rough but for the right price it could be a good project
There are TWO hood latches on the OBS Fords. Reach inside the grill to get the 2nd one
Hey Randy you won the BMW Z4 ?, that’s a nice one ,👌
"I don't expect the AC to work in something this old with this many miles"
Laughs in 1996 Honda with 272k 😂
BMW 330xi - burning oil is the CCV aka PCV system. cheap and fairly easy to fix. Z4 is worth fixing too. AWD + stick E46 will def continue to rise in value plus that engine is known to be very good. everything else around it will break before the engine does. i own a 05 e46 performance package
Love those Z4s. Hope you can win this one
@16:00 old school Ford trucks usually have a hood catch release tab in the front grille area.
This was the fastest beginning to a copart walkaround
I hope you can get the stick shift BMW
Any bmw would be cool to see on the channel
Welcome to the Mustang and Corvette channel :o)
Ya Get the Z4. My cousin has one of those.
I can almost guarantee that the rear frame on that F150 is perfectly fine, the bumper brackets on these old 80s and early 90s F150s (and a little later F250s) would absorb the impact of a rear end hit and tuck under, out of the way protecting the rear frame. That ML350 was nice. My 07 has a flashing check engine light right now with 136k on it. It was fun while it lasted
Get that z3 it would be more interesting than a tempo or a caprice
Somebody had that second BMW set up for drifting. That's why their where slotted and drilled rotors on the back and the exhaust smells so bad with burning oil. That thing is toast.
Hey Randy, I do like both BMW’s but, the 03 needs quite a bit of work, where as the Z4 not as much, wish the Z4 was a manual.
The Ford Pick up looks nice. However, trying to work around that push bar might be tough.
Randy i seen one that year Mercedes suv with rucci rims it looked great no bs
On that F150 I had a 96 with the 5.0 I sold it at 222k miles I currently driving a 93 with 109k miles I'm the second owner and its super clean
I like the rims on the mustang
Hi Randy. Thank you for another good video!! I think out of all of them you need to get the for door bmw, not just because it a for door but because it looks awesome with the finders looking like the are, also the old ford would be cool to parts are all over the pick and pull yards well here in texas they are. 😂. Hope you are doing good and keep you the gr8t work and see you on the next one!!!
you should get that white truck, watching crashed cars restoration is way more exciting , at least for me :)
Didnt Hoovie have a same color ML that got stolen?
Hoovies was maroon
Im looking at a GL450 4matic myself all white with just 2 dings that a pdr guy can take care of and clean title
Seen the same problem on a 2006 BMW 530xi, only had to replace the strut.
"They're Waterfall Dynamic tires. Ooohhhh-k." 😂 😂
Going back a few videos regarding your casper ghost, odd that it showed up around the swamp vette, might have gotten a swamp creature also
I agree with you Bob, the haunting came from the swamp vette; Lou-Ka-Reaux!!!
I would take a chance on that F150 for the right price and definitely keep the headache rack! That Z4 is sweet! If I ever splurged for a BMW m, that would be the one.
I would definitely buy both bmw's if they go for the right price, I'd love to see both or either one on the channel!
Awesome content Randy! Have a great day! 🤘🤘
Run flat tires were standard equipment on all new BMW models starting in 2003.
On that '96 Corvette, it was bid pretty high today, but within an hour it was back up for sale for next week. I don't know what happened there.
E46 manual no warning lights, she needs saving if it's cheap enough, just think when she's finished and all Don properly. What great cars come on Randy you know you want it lol.
Hey bro! Bid on that Z4
The Z4 with manual gearbox from that smoking E46-3 series would be something really nice.. ;0)
The color you're wanting to know of on that Z4 is called Sterling Grey Metallic.
I like those, but for repair sake, and overall reliability, give me a Miata.
Thanks for the video, Randy.
The brown tone of the ML reminds me of UPS...
If they are going to keep using aluminum for body panels, then they need to change the design of the rear quarter panels to be like front fenders and make them so you can replace them by unbolting them and swapping in new. Too many cars are being junked by minor damage that is too hard to fix because of aluminum body panels.
Best Buy that black all wheel drive BMW 5 speed running around town
I saw the color on swamp vette on another guy's video it looks good resurrected
BMW E46 has patina. Several years ago a tuner trend was rusty hoods, so maybe the owner was daring to be different with fenders.
Stay away from the stick shift BMW too many problems just stick with the z4 sending love from Boston 💯💖💙🙏🙏
That vette ignition take a hammer and hit it with key in
I saw a red MINI next to BMW. Any good MINI Cooper S/JCW models around?
Enjoy your video buddy keep up the good work
Well well, the Z4 for sure!
But that 330 . . . . MIGHT be fun.
Brilliant work and thanks for sharing this with us stay safe and take care
I think the e46 bmw could be a nice literal beater to thrash on and everything cuz I definitely would
I like that little z4 Randy!
When will your do a classic rebuild like an old chevy
Those Z4s are a blast to drive.
Hey man how are you doing hope everything is well with you and Jessica
That e46 looks fun as a project car
I like any Corvette walk arounds.
Hi Randy Z4 nice BBS wheels possibly black and color
It good for the stick for the other car and it's not hard to change over with everything and make it all wheel drive that would be cool put everything from the other car in the smoker
Love body style Z4, best looking body style they did. My old neighbor had the 2003 true manual 3.0i z4. 😍 hope u get lucky 🍀 with that one.
You’d do well once fixed to sell that Z4 for 2.5K in the UK and those run flats are expensive
Randy, do you know what the letters at the end of the lot number,on the stickers mean? I know X means it's an Insurance car, C is for Customer, But do you know what P is for, private?
That all three beamer being a standard would be fun to play with good luck bud
With the BMW, I saw a bluish tint to the smoke on camera so I'm guessing there's oil mixed in there somewhere (D'oh!) - I guess it could be a bad head gasket (D'oh!). If you wanted to have some fun with it (and it would be content for the channel as well as pretty easy to get those body parts for) maybe up to five or $600?
Love love ya videos man and I think you should get the bmw silver one and the Corvette but for affordably the bmw
Love ur videos🔝
What’s the chance of doing a live Copart walk around??
Yeah he Z4 would be my bet. You’re only asking for trouble with the 330xi valves definitely gone. The Orange one you sold was a smoker also wasn’t it?
Randy go get that stick shift beemer she sure does look fun!
Can you do a 2013 and 2009 ford fusion
Looks like Aspern Silver ?
Randy most BMW come with run flat tires there is probably no air in it.
Randy, the next time you do a Copart walk around will you please make an effort to show the stock number as you pass by so we can follow along with the listing? Generally speaking the cars are sold before you videos come out so there is no chance of anybody buying it before you have that chance. Please.
Go for that obs ford!! They are really easy to fix and parts are cheap!
The ML color is called DOLOMITBRAUN .. my E350 has the same color..
Hope you get 500k subs this year randy😄
The 330 would be a nice project for the right price. The smoke could be the ccv gone bad.
You should get Jessica something like that ML350, content for the channel and something for Jessica too cruise around in.
E46 xi's leak oil profusely. Oil seal jobs require yet again, premium parts to do them correctly to repair/maintain. M52tu/m54 ccv systems aren't horrible, but will require maintanance (premium).
BMW use runflat tires só maybe That is why they hold air but i really liked the Z4 i think its a Nice car
Randy stay away from the 330i , too many problems. The Z 4 is a really nice car, take that if possible. Stay Safe.
You have a lift man but for most of those miner frame damage car's and and trucks you need to get a small frame machine in your shop and play around with some cheap cars Randy.
That 330 has a bad CCV. That is why the smoke. And the engine runs better then the Z4. Z4 i can hear the chain rattling.
You should get with demo ranch Matt owns bunker branding
The BMW Z4 is a fun car.
I like the z4 you should go for it
I've seen someone driving around with a rim like that with air in it and yes it is a miracle but somehow is a possible I've also seen a rim with the side completely knocked out and yet still driving on it
I love this kind of video from you
