It's the last real Ducati. Sporting the much beloved air cooled, two valves Pompone, no electronics, low cost of maintenance and loads of fun! I am thinking about getting one.
Perhaps you know the answer. I have a 2007 multi 1100s. Current problem. Motor turns over, doesn't start, and I have to hit the start/stop switch to the stop position for the engine to stop turning over. The spark plugs have spark. Any suggestions
I agree, would be interesting if the pace of technology is continuing at the same rate, slowing down or increasing? Where is Power to weight ratio going......😳😁💪
@@route21garage You should probably get a ride on the 1260 Pikes Peak as the last 2 cylinder top-performance Multi. I still own and ride my 2007 1100 Multi :)
I have ridden and reviewed that beauty! I rode the 2003 Multi 100DS for 18 years 132.000km, now on a GS 1250 Adventure. But I also reviewed my Multi with the decade later Multi Pikes Peak twin. I agree with you, My favourite too 👌🙏
@@route21garage I'd love to hear your opinion about what could possibly be the 'next bike' after 18 years of the og Multi. It's a tough bike to replace. With the GS you probably gained in comfort, what about the riding fun? Why not to go for a 1260 Multi? The first Multis were extremely versatile without giving up any of the fun and handling, plus it was an 'uncool bike', meaning no worries for it to be spotted by thieves... XD
I agree, sometimes simple is better. KISS - “Keep It Simple St.pid” concept The more onboard computers and electronics, the more that can go wrong However the advancement in tech is a nice to have and a spoil….
I could never digest the design of the 2nd generation with this "trunk" in front. Looking from up front is like you look at a scooter. It start to look a bit better with the new V4 but still needs a different approach in my opinion.
Awesome video and Multistrada comparison! The bikes look stunning - well done!
Im still in love with my 1000 DS 😂
I feel the same. I won’t get rid of her 🥳
Hybrid V4 maybe for the 2030 model? If not fully electric already...
I also love my DS1000S. Great channel guys! Thank you.
Having owned both, the first generation was more fun to ride fyi
Good to know because I've always loved the first gen
1100evo is the BEAST.

I have no idea to be honest?
It would be super cool to compare the new V4 Multistrada 2023 with the Pikes Peak 2013 next year 😁. I would give Ducati a call and book one 😁

I am definetely trying to set it up….. 👍🏻
2003 should be two valves per cylinder 😊
If you're going to ride across countries (states) then I'm NOT seeing the tech as an advance - plus I'll bet the 2003 is way better on gas.
