5 years later I bought MGS5 on summer sale with no previous contact with the series and I just want to say thank you for your videos they helped me a lot and they made my truly appreciate this great game without needlessly wasting time.

How I just finished Mission 50 Extreme Sahelanthropus, after tens of hours in increasing rage, which is just what the floating boy tunes in on......... my CGM-25 rockets just got to fullest upgrade. I run up to tower next to the beast, throw down supply drop request, take aim w CGM and rapidly pump the firing button like I'm playing Galaga :) I couldn't believe I got to 50% damage on one load of CGM's.
I'm here for the elusive "Destroy Sahelanthropus Head"....... argh!?!?!?
Hi Kiwi, I don't know if you read these comments for your old videos or what lol, but i want to really, really thank you so much for these task guides, because today i was able to accomplish all tasks completed in each of the 50 missions, and I had previously S-ranked all of them as well. Your advice and your strategies helped out immensely. Have a great 2018! Now all I have to do is extract the animals for 100 percent completion (I'm at 94% right now), but is there anything else I have to do for 100 percent?
P.S. I had NO idea you could break thru those lava mines w/ rifle, and also those missiles. Just gained respect for the AM-MRS-4, having underestimated the power of the 5.56 mm rounds. You're narrating while playing?! Still not clear at what point you know you've killed its "head".........

For anyone coming back here, if you S-Ranked every mission, use Raiden. You can outrun any attack Sahelanthropus uses.
Completing the mission tasks is easy, but I can't for the life of god finish him off. I get fucked by the rocks he pops out of the ground, because I can't tell if the rocks will trail behind me or surround me on all sides, and when I guess wrong, it gets me killed. I'm using the FB MR, which does more damage than the launcher you use here, and I have the battle dress. Other than that, I have the same equipment that you are using. Any suggestions?
Its been a long time since I played but I just started running away as soon as he got the sword thingy out and made sure not to run in a straight line. I've also fully upgraded the arm speed upgrade so I can run as fast as posable. If you get stuck in the circle, you can shoot one or two of them and they will break and then run out so you don't get hurt when the explode.
Currently on this mission , I literally can’t , this makes it sound easy

Killed him so fast with the CGM rocket launcher I couldn't get the other mission tasks lol
Thank you sooooooooo much for your help with all of these missions! I wonder if you can help me understand one thing however? Ok. All of my fob bases are 500/500 full, I've "S" ranked every mission and I've gotten all of the blueprints, the key items, the pictures, the animals and everything! I've even gotten all of the uniforms Raiden, Cybog, gold and siver! The question is, how come the game keeps dismissing my staff? Also, I cannot rank the units any higher than they are. I've been trying to get the night vision scope for my MRS -4R but I need to level up my units although they are all over 115, I can't get them any higher so I can get better equipment and such. Can you help me understand what I should do? Thanks either way
Sorry mate, wish I could hep but that's beyond my knowledge. I haven't played the game since early 2016, and I never had my fob bases at max capacity.

its the grenade things on his upper legs that blow up
you definitely need big boss on this one. He moves fast that the Soldiers you recruit. the best weapon against it is the FB MR R launcher and make sure you have a UN ARC HB machine gun and I did it!
Best weapon is the Rocket Launcher that splits and a powerful Grenade Launcher and yes i know im replying to 4 year old comment lol...

after defeat extreme sahelantropus, i just get very short scene video, i dont know " did i already finish all MGS 5 or not finish at all ?", if somenone knows about it, please let me know
It's been a while but i believe mission 50 is the last main mission. If you haven't finished all the other missions or side ops then you can do that. from here it is trophy/achievement hunting and the mother base upgrading / raiding.
