Great interview! Leo seems just like I would have expected - humble, smart, matter of fact, a musician as opposed to just a guitarist. Surprising that it's a 175 on all the Josie stuff! That his seminal influences were jazz guys? Not surprising at all, for the reasons given. I hope that's still true today.
You should never have to be anything or anyone BUT Leo, good sir. You are an original and a true master. Leo Nocentelli is a National Treasure.
A true master and a big part of what made New Orleans RNB so good including the wonderful Lee Dorsey
Never saw this man without a Guitar in his hands
I just saw him perform at Tipitina's last Saturday night, and George Porter Jr. perform at the Maple Leaf 2 days later.
Awesome! Home town heroes! gotta love mista LEO!!
i use always see this man in dornacs before covid. I regret not asking him for lessons
I miss Dorignacs.
