In this video I will break down EVERYTHING you need to know about the new DawnCraft modpack for Minecraft. We will be covering the basics from getting started, to even taking quests. This modpack is exactly like Elden Ring, it’s very souls-like, especially with the Epic Fight combat mod. Hopefully this video can help, Enjoy Lads :)

A few more crucial things to add that will be extremely beneficial:
.Most work stations like anvils, smokers, and enchanting tables are locked away through knowledge and cannot be used. You can unlock the usage of these stations though villager quests or guildmaster quests
.Other skill books can be gotten through guard villager quests after your first guildmaster quest and many of the books are just as, and in some ways more useful than the dodge roll
.Gear up to at least full iron or chainmail before the first two story bosses. In addition, complete a few guard villager quests to get some skill books as you will quickly need more than just the dodge roll
.Use your horse call. It allows you to summon a bonded horse from anywhere and can help you in so many ways
.Like Rlcraft, exploration is extremely dangerous, but also really rewarding. Finding dungeons, structures, and even boss arenas can almost always lead to you walking away with something good
.Almost every enemy has the capability of beating you til tomorrow. If you play this, be prepared for death
.Patreon invaders will sometimes spawn around you and will try challenging you in a fight. If you are strong enough to defeat them, you get their unique weapons that give you special abilities
.Combat mode should be your go to for most fights in this game. You go into it by pressing R and going into it makes the fights in the game really feel like fights. Also regular combat does 50% less damage
.Bosses are everywhere in this modpack. You have the bosses in the guildmaster quest that are required to beat the game, but there are also many bosses within the overworld, nether, end, and even the new dimensions the Everbright and Everdawn. Many do require exploration, but like I said above, exploration is rewarded

so true. It took several hours for me to get to consistently beating a couple zombies.

Another cool thing to know as they really help with the early game. You can rob villages without a reputation penalty. You just have to be "hidden", meaning no villager in direct line of sight of your crimes. Makes it kinda doable to quickly get to iron gear without having to go caving and get your booty handed to you.

Another helpful tip is /back, you can quickly return to your last death point and it saves so much time running around looking for your corpse... trust me, I know first hand...
That sounds useful to me because I can never see my corpse even if i go to the marker
To teleport to your base you can type /set home in the chat and then when you want to go home you can type /home in the chat

You can also get spirit orbs by breaking spawners with a certain chance. From one visit to a large dungeon, you can get from 20 - 30 orb

@@milanandrej With a title that says "ultimate", I thought this would be the one video that explains that. None of the other videos I've seen have covered it either. Maybe it's just an ultimate mystery to everyone. BTW in case you haven't figured it out yet, the answer only takes four words to explain. Feed it a log.
7:09 Breaking the item will give you the options of rename and place the item
The atlas really needs to be excluded from items that can be dropped on death, or start with soulbound for it to be easy .

You should do playlists for the different modpacks you cover, it'll be way easier for people to find your videos about the precise subject they want
Today I learned to not make my seed Tamriel as that spawns you next to a red dragon 100% of the time. 10/10 would recommend
You can loot chests, as long as no villager sees you doing it

can you make a guide on the puzzle dungeons please?
Only thing I don’t really understand is how to properly fight without getting clapped. I understand about combat mode and the skills that come with it but are we supposed to bait out their attacks like in elden ring? Or just go in, spam and pray that your sword and amount of HP is enough to kill the enemy
I had an issue figuring out this as well, I found the best approach is indeed the elden ring approach. Bait em out, let ‘em take a few swings, in their down time go in and take your swings, roll back, put space between you and the enemy and rinse and repeat.
how do you use weapons and armor? is it like RL craft now. i was on yesterday and everything was fine but i got on today and i was giving debuffs like minging fatige and slowness and it said i needed knowledge 20 and that to use the armors and weapons but up top in left cornor it said i had knowlegde 285, 85 and 85 for 3 differnt things.
What about its magic systems, or storage systems?
I think what made it difficult for me is I still don't know if you can strafe while attacking in combat mode, my dodge doesn't work too
For dodges I believe it’s assigned to the left ALT key by default. It might be swapped for you, you could check the controls in options and it’ll display what it is under Epic Fight
You also have to be in combat mode to dodge roll
bro you get the dodge after the first quest as a reward from the guildmaster
You don't have dodge until you get to guild, so I would just keep off combat mode and do normal Minecraft attack while running backwards to keep from getting hit.
there are more goblin king castles around the map? because my map didn't show any mob

It despawned cause i unable to damage it fast enough to make it target me after dying once.
Also any reliable ways to find puzzle dungeon?
When you do pay off your crimes and get a better reputation make sure to sleep so it applies the reputation points and your only allow to pay once a day
fun fact the map you get from the Korak can lead to an abandoned village
You said at the beginning this is like Elden ring but it looks like it is 70% botw
Anyone know how to find the right direction to get onto the map for the ogre? I can’t obtain the first eye because I’ve been traveling aimlessly for hours trying to find it
What version of the modpack is this? Because in the version I am playing, we don't spawn with any of those items, we spawn with a sword, a bow and some arrows, nothing more

question: IF i found a korok in some random place, how do I interact with it? Usually when I hit it, it disappeared
you can also just break the waystone you find in villages and put it to ur home or anywhere
I believe right clicking on the Korok? Maybe. Not all of them might be interact-able. I’m not 100% sure. The main way I obtained spirit orbs was through puzzle dungeons. I’d honestly say that’s the best bet mate 🫡
you can steal from village's chests and barrels if there is no one around
Is there a way to keep track of quests, my friend and i started a server but cant really seem to find a sort of tracker for our quests.
Unfortunately I never found a way, I always had to return to the guild master in a nearby village to see what needed done.
I have some problems in The version 1.13 on forge because my command to opening skill (K) dont work. I have try to change on options but dont work. You can help me or someone can help me With this?
Hey, uhh i need some help here, idk why but when i start dawncraft it is really laggy. I am ok with heavy mods such as Rlcraft or Crazy craft but why not Dawncraft ? or maybe because of the shadders
Not gonna lie, DawnCraft is a very demanding modpack. I have a fairly decent PC and in villages or certain structures my FPS tanks to around 30, sometimes 20. On a good day I get around 60 in those areas. But it’s not like that consistently. I’d recommend turning down your render distance, that MIGHT help. I turned shaders off to see if it benefited, unfortunately I found no success with that. I honestly think it’s just the modpack, it’s freshly released so it might still need some work :/

Really nice video thx but the mod needs alot of xp especially for gems, and dungeons are really slow to even enchant one item and you cant make enderman farm what is the best way to get xp?
Much love, glad you enjoyed the video homie. As far as I know, from me playing through so far, I would say what’s been the best help for me on gaining XP is finding areas with mob spawners (typically weird structures or places in caves) and I’ll clean the entire area of enemies. There’s sometimes mini bosses in them as well which be nice for XP.
Get yourself a sword with Knowledge of the Ages, helps insanely much with EXP
There's also an enchant that turns drops into EXP, I don't recall the name tho
Also can try getting a sword that grants you Knowledge on hit
Lastly, if you feel like cheesing a bit.. You can go to the battle towers, they have spawners that spawn endlessly (normal spawners have a limited amount of spawns before they break)

I have an issue: the dialogue options are cut out of the screen, I can't read what they say, anyone knows how to fix?

this modpack runs INCREDIBLY well for how many mods it has
Which texture pack are u using
If you put the compas in your offhand it will show you your directions on it at the top of your screen like in Skyrim
It’s typically displayed on bottom left, the direction and so on and so forth. Hope this helps!
I wasn’t asking lol I was telling you that when it’s in your offhand you will have a proper compass bar at the top that rotates with you and displays your N.S.E.W and so on
is there a journal where you can see your ongoing quests ? I cant find it so far

You need to craft Emerald Bundles and insert it into the pledger.

Will there ever be a fabric version???? i would love to use some mods like sodium and other performance mods that are only fabric with this mod pack. Would also love to use this mod pack with better performance of course.
I can totally understand, I only play on fabric myself for this exact reason. I don’t think it’s on fabric though sadly enough.
@@ghostmoneymc the modpacks is based around Epic Fight mod, which is not availible on Fabric yet.
The mod page (for Epic fight mod) says that they have sall part of the team working on port for fabric, so maybe once that is done, we will get fabric Dawncraft as well
not sure though, I cant speak for the modpack creators, after all
you *can* loot Villages, Just make sure They cant see you open Chests.

from what I've seen the mod is nice but I don't have any sounds while playing
So my buddies and I need only 1 eye to complete the end portal. The remaining eyes are: Black eye, Nether eye, Old eye, Evil eye and Cryptic eye. Does anyone know where to find any of these ?
The nether eye i found it in one dungeon in the nether, the others one i dont found it if you do please tell me
@@leguendark8414 Thank you for the info. I've heard stuff about the black eye being in the ice maze biome, found rarely in the structures above and below ground there. You can find more information by searching for the "Aquamirae" mod. However, I've yet to find one myself after looting 8+ structures in that biome. So it might be really rare
bro, a tree guy spawns near you? i was playing with my friend and we were so confused so we were just going around adventuring then an hour or two later i saw this guy and tried talking to him but he wouldnt say anything

Thanks a ton for that! Regarding your question though, You could try clicking the R key to enter combat mode. I believe that’s the key for it. Then health bars should appear.

step 1. DO NOT BY ANY MEANS LOOT A CHEST WITH A VILLAGER NEAR IT step 2. get a bow step 3. explore and conquer all with bow and there you have it you have completed the game in just 1.2 miliseconds
What do you do after you loot a chest by one to make then like you again?
@@jayzexv2633 go craft bundled emerald then go to the mini chest on the desk of the guildmaster at night then right click the chest with bundled emerald in hand and then sleep and boom reputation restored also might take more bundled emeralds depending on how much negative reputation you have
what about arrow and enemy that immune to it?
Unless you have no arrows, which is basically the beginning, unless you somehow gather tons of feathers and flint

okay I need to tell you, I've played 3 separate worlds right.. first one, abandoned village on my village finder. Second one, doesn't have guild master, third one, doesn't has guild master. The fuck is my luck xD

Unfortunately, yes. It’s totally random. It took me awhile to locate it as well, should be a mid size black castle.

Those are just the shaders I have activated. Should be found in the settings under “video” options.

You can, but it needs to be discrete. No villagers can see you do it.

I really, really, really wanted to like this modpack but it's annoying at best. I found myself walking away multiple times because the main and most important aspect, the villagers, made me want to rage quit until I finally decided to no longer play. There's 0 way to track villagers or villager quests that I've found, making it near impossible to find the villagers you were fetching items for or remembering them. Which makes it even harder to progress in a game where villagers are literally the main focus and yet are so poorly executed for any kind of progression. They also ask for items way way above your current capabilities and give 1 emerald per quest. It's just not feasible to progress, especially if you have any kind of memory issues like me. Not to meantion getting killed by skilled rats in the middle of the day that you can't even hit. 2/10 modpack, needs work. Either they need to give more or you need a way to track things, otherwise I just really don't see many people playing for more than a day or two.
Can always use reis minimap to mark villages?
Another thing to note is that THIS MINECRAFT MODPACK NEEDS A HEAVIER COMPUTER THAN LITERALLY ANY GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED WHAT THE FUCK

No problem G, what’re you having issues understanding? Are you referring to the journal ish map? Or the map with the X?
@@ghostmoneymc The one with the map, I can't quite grasp what directions to really go towards...
@@soulveska Yeah it can be slightly confusing, you are represented on that map by the gray box. You have to unfortunately guess randomly which direction to go towards the X. You’ll know immediately if you are going the correct way when the gray box starts getting lighter in the middle. Then you’ll eventually show up on the map and it will fill in normally.
