Fish looked awesome! I just did me some Maih Miah for the first time at some friends last weekend. Definitely better than pan frying. Nice cook!

I'm pretty sure this was the second time I smoked fish, first time on camera and I think it turned out pretty good. She enjoyed her salmon so I guess I did something right lol. Thank you so much for watching :-)

I'm good, just need to eat better for my heart. Have the usual high blood pressure, cholesterol issues that I'm on meds for. You know, or you will, old people conditions lol. I really appreciate you bud.

Yeah Scott! I’m liking this. My family and I were wanting to try smoking fish. I’ve never done it. I’ve actually never eaten salmon. I do like me some cod however. Did you try the salmon or did the little lady eat it all? Lol. Perfect timing on this video! ✌🏼

I don't dare touch her salmon. Do you wish bodily harm upon myself lol. I'm more of a white fish kinda person so it its all good. If you like fish you should try this one day. Rob? I appreciate you so much my friend.

@@MileHighGuyBBQ oh I get that Scott! Lol. I want to ask about the salmon, was it raw in the middle? I will not eat any form of raw fish. I just can’t do it. 😜. And I know Dawn definitely won’t. I know most people will eat salmon that way though. I don’t know. Sorry man. Just real curious. See how your video has me intrigued? BTW, you ok? Health wise?

@@PoorGuyOutdoor Yeah, I'm fine it's just the things we get when we are older, blood pressure, cholesterol, take care of those pumping vessels going to and from my heart, you know lol. I'm on a few meds to control that crap, nothing major, I just have to try to be a little more health conscious for my own good. Both pieces of fish were cooked through. I can't do raw fish either - NASTY. As long as you cook it to the recommended internal temp you are fine. The salmon had the skin on the back but the cod didn't. You don't eat the skin, it just gives a little protection from the grilling surface and you jut pick the fish meat out with a fork. The salmon had the same doneness as you would find in canned tuna. The cod comes out with a different kind of texture...more "bouncy" you might say. Anyway, I appreciate you brother, I'm about to go watch your Texas Smokehouse sausage short and now as I see, you have to whole video up. Well, I gotta go take care of business and get some watching done 😉One more thing...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY DAWN! 🙂

@@MileHighGuyBBQ trust me Scott. I right with it. I’m DOT regulated so I have to maintain my blood pressure. Gotta get a DOT physical every year now. Cholesterol is still good for me but it’s borderline. I’m definitely digging this info buddy. It’ll come in useful. I’ll get some salmon soon and try it in the the Pit Boss wood chip smoker to regulate a low heat. Dawn said thanks Scott! ✌🏼

@@PoorGuyOutdoor One more thing...low and slow is the word, don't rush it, that's why I set the temp to 180. That's just what I've hear and it worked out 🙂
