3:36 hey everyone quick correction to the review. The shoulder armor can raise to increase articulation. Mine was so tight at first it wouldn't budge but after a bit more playing around with it it now moves a lot more freely.
Just finished building this kit, (bought it because of this review) it is probably the greatest model kit I’ve ever built by far. It’s not even a contest. It’s so damn good. The plastic feels like it came from the highest quality 400 quid action figures. It was so good that right after finishing the build I instantly ordered the new In Era Aurora without a second thought.
Thank you for the review. I finished building and enjoyed most; is they did the basic right. No gimmick metal parts that either too loose or too tight. The inner frame is sturdy, no force coupling with some very strong joint. Some say it is overdesign, but I am fine with it. The whole build experience is excellent, even to water decal which comes off instantly when dip in water, which save a lot of build time. If I have to ‘complain’ which is a strong word, foil sticker can be more plastic/metal, than paper like as it is now.
Glad the decals are quick to activate, my only complaint is the head design but I just love the colours and the rest of the how it looks. How long did it take you to build it?
wish they had made an attachment for the rail gun to be mounted on the back when the backpack is not attached, and an attachment for the stand that can hold the figure while standing, also i would not mind paying extra if they made extra metal parts for this kit, so that it can hold support the backpack, this kit is amazing by the way :)
So excited to potentially get one of these. I love the purple inner frame, the pistons, and I’m not the biggest fan of the guns, but they’re still very nice-looking and don’t seem like a design afterthought like some other 3party kits look. This is a little pricey, but it’s more than justified considering all the colors, clear parts, pinged parts and the amount of parts and the size. I don’t really like the other In Era+ kits, namely the Genesis and Trailblazer. I also prefer the unique head design as well, the visor is such a cool motif that reminds of the one variant of the RX-78-2 from the Origin manga that has the visor instead of the eyes (can’t find it on Fandom but I know it exists, I think it got a kit some time ago). Gonna customize this, proajbly gonna and the swords from one of my Astrays to this kit when I get it so that it’s a little more interesting and extroverted. Currently making some lineart of this one so I can figure out my color scheme. Great review.
I know it's a bit on the pricier side but it's totally worth it. Seriously one of the best builds I've ever done. The rx78 your thinking of was a north american type from origins of I remember correctly. Thanks for the comment and happy building
Dude, I'm just finding your channel and am loving your third party reviews. I'm hoping and praying I can get my hands on this specific kit to add to my collection. Thanks for making videos, fam.
Thank you so much!! Glad you found me and it's nice to meet you. Keep your eye on gundam central they will be getting another restock so you can snag one.
Probably one of the best build experience kit ive build same to my mgex strike freedom that you need to build the innerframe first. The knee bend is the most impressive the details are wow.
Thank you also I made a mistake in the review my shoulders were really tight cause I pushed them too hard and thought they didn't move you can move the shoulders to get more articulation
I don't top coat before I panel line. Most say you should. I panel line and clean up before assembly to avoid the liner from seaping into the micro cracks created when assembling. If you want to top coat before make sure to use a glossy top coat.
I just finished Hemoxian Thor and was impressed by it and by watching your review it looks like i need to get this too, Man Chinese model kits are getting getter every release
Here is the info from the Gundam Central site.10-18 days and is around $17 USD for shipping to Canada.. Check out gundam central for the most accurate info. Since I'm in the States I cannot give you all the info
I see another review said that the shoulder armor can be moved away independently, thus adding more articulation on the arm to spread about 95 degree, anyway great and detailed review
I use Tamiya panel lining fluid. I do it a little different though. I don't without a top coat and line before I build to prevent the fluid from seeping into the micro cracks caused by stressing the astic during assembly
The production quality of your reviews is improving rapidly! This kit is amazing and your finishes are excellent. Did you clear coat it the same way you finished the Trailblazer? Thanks for another great review
Thank you so much I've been working hard to make the videos better. For the review I did not clear coat this one so the finish is stock OOB. Thank you again for the support I hope to keep improving.
I'm based in the United States so I don't have any info for sites that deliver to Spain. You can check with Gundam Central for shipping options to your region
this seems bigger than a reguilar master grade even though its height is estimated at around 20cm, could i request the actual dimensions please? thanks for the video btw this thing looks awesome.
Really like these detailed reviews on the small bits and how long did it take you to build/detail this one? Also do you plan on getting hemoxian thor and reviewing it?
Thank you for the compliment!! I would love to do that kit but I don't have it as of right now. But if I do get it you can get it will be on the channel. This one took a couple of weeks since I was only able to work on it a couple of hours a night because of work.
@@MetalmanX hopefully you get it soon! Also really like the captions you added in the video, did you use any adhesive/softer for the decals or just straight onto the build?
What I did was chose what to panel line. If you panel line every little curved, elevated, hollowed, or anything similar the kit becomes "burdensome" to look at. or maybe it's just me.

Just got this kit because Bandai had refused to make good MG kits. This is very much what Id like to see in a MG kit.
Seriously it seems like all the innovation lately is coming from outside of Bandai. I think Bandai is fantastic but seriously they need to step it up.
These third party kits are just insane. I recently built one of the In Era kits and it could actually hold the weapon unlike the MG red frame lol.
They really have come a long way in the past few years and companies like In Era are helping to lead the way.

I'm glad you enjoyed the kit and that I played a small part in helping you decide to pick it up.
The orange head part always reminds me of the Guarlion from Super Robot Wars Original Generations

@@epistarter1136 For about 1 / 1.5 hour a day, I build it in 6 days. Very fun build.
Wow it looks so good, I can’t wait to build mine now. The amount of detail, color separation, and overall aesthetic is incredible!
It really is in my top 10.of.all.time right now. They have a new version of it coming out soon. I believe it's called the thunderbolt manta
Thanks for the review! Already ordered mine😀
You're gonna love this kit
ordered this kit. Looking forward to build it. :D
You're gonna love it
Great review! I'm definitely getting this kit.
You should it's a amazing build
Fantastic review! Instant subscription!
Thank you!! Next review will be the Apocalypse so stay tuned for that one!! The sub is very very appreciated. Helps keep me going.
Impressive looking kit
Yes it is. They are coming out with a follow up called the Manta and it looks impressive as well.

I would have liked to see the "butt pack" be able to go on the back as well that would have been awesome
@@MetalmanX oh yeah, that one also looks good on the upper back 👍

Have this in my backlog. Did you build the Hemoxian Thor? So far the impresive third party I've ever build
The Thor is in my backlog. I am looking forward to building it. I was planning on doing it till I got the apocalypse

I finished this one few days ago. I did some custom paint half way still but I loved it. Great review. Cheers
It is a customizers dream. Thank you and glad to have you here! Next one up for review is the judge.
it can balance the weight of the backpack if u equip the gun on the front. try that
I gotta get this kit thanks for the review.
Thank you for the support

@@MetalmanX Don't worry, I've read your other comment but maybe you should pin that for a new viewer

The head looks like a flying chicken 😂 Good review brotha! You did a great job.
Thanks!!! It's definitely different but like I said it's grown on me. Not more of a bird beak than the Amtsu Hana when you think about it really.
I just finished Hemoxian Thor and was impressed by it and by watching your review it looks like i need to get this too, Man Chinese model kits are getting getter every release
They really are. This kit is beautiful and went together smooth as butter. Can't wait to see what comes out in the future.
How was the Thor I would love to build it as well
does this kit joints loose over time?
It seems to be holding up very well over time
How long does the shipping take to canada?

You are totally right. Mine was really tight so it wouldn't budge but after messing with it I see I made a mistake.
What panel liner do u use for this?
I use Tamiya panel lining fluid. I do it a little different though. I don't without a top coat and line before I build to prevent the fluid from seeping into the micro cracks caused by stressing the astic during assembly
Any source on that vfin for this kit? I can't find anything about it online
Not yet, but I will make a post when I do get more info. All I know is it is not made by In Era so the quality may or may not be comparable.
hey, metalman, what is this mobile suit's name?
It's the thunderbolt. It's an independent released design from In Era
what do you use for panel lining?
Tamiya panel lining fluid
Thanks for the review, I really liked the format! You have a new subscriber. A question: what did you use to panel line? What colors?
Thank you I am grateful. I used Tamiya panel lining fluid. I used dark grey on the light parts, black on the dark parts, and brown on the orange parts

are the nubs undergated?
For the most part yes they are
this seems bigger than a reguilar master grade even though its height is estimated at around 20cm, could i request the actual dimensions please? thanks for the video btw this thing looks awesome.
20.5cm (8in) without the stand. With the stand I would estimate it at around 35cm

I think it depends on what astetic you enjoy. You do you.
What is S for this guy? I swear his taste in gundam is horrible...
I don't use an S scale ranking system. It's F to A.
