The amount of Modulation used and different sections in the song make it really complicated to map out and even as a classical Pianist it took me a while to completely figure it out. Within the beaten down slump of a city, Takemitchi wastes away in an endless cycle of work and television as his nihilistic turmoil engulfs him, turning the channel to witness a news report that his ex girlfriend Hina was killed in a car crash, it seems Takemitchi truly has lost everything by this point until, as fate would have it, as he boards the nearest train in order to continue his cycle, he gets pushed onto the train tracks and everything goes white until Takemitchi awakens inside of his teen body exactly 12 years ago. He begins to think that his life is simply flashing before his eyes until he experiences pain yet again in the form of a brutal beating by the Tokyo Manji Gang that started his life as a slave who always apologized. Takemitchi ,bruised and beaten, would go to the one place in the world he felt whole, Hina’s house. After the touching reunion he meets Naoto her little brother, in an effort to change the future Takemitchi tells Naoto everything that has transpired and to save his sister’s life, which they shake on it. The screen goes white yet again and Takemitchi is back in his adult body laying on a bed, the nurse beside him exits the room as an adult Naoto appears and tells Takemitchi that he has time leaped yet again thanks to the handshake as a trigger and that despite Naoto’s best efforts, Hina is still dead by the Tokyo Manji Gang’s hands. Takemitchi starts his adventure by declaring he will use his powers of time leaping to stop the Tokyo Manji Gang from taking Hina’s life and thus a long story of gang warfare, murder, mystery, brothers in battle, and endless trial and error where every time leap is someone new to save began called Tokyo Revengers. (Btw my favorite arc in the manga for you readers is Tenjiku).
If you want to react to a literal wordsmith I'd highly recommend the Stupendium. They have a scary ability to be able to write well, rap quickly, and (in most of their earlier video's) they've done the entire production by themselves bar the music. A few good songs to start with would be: - The art of darkness - Death and taxes - the most fashionable faction Others to recommend: - Their horror Christmas trilogy (You'll get a really good idea on how their writing has evolved over the years) - Ad infinitium (This is literal chaos so I wouldn't watch this one first) - Vending machine of love (Count how many different ways they can say the word can) - Minecraft vs LEGO (They colab with Dan Bull and ERB on this one) I will stress that whilst they only really does raps based on video games, you don't actually need to know anything about the game to understand his songs.
