“The 1961 Ferrari 250GT California. Less than a hundred were made. My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion.............”
Awesome to hear this in action! I just saw it during a couple of weeks ago and did a short video too, but just static sitting in the shop. Amazing, thank you for sharing it with us!
Is the garage available for Airbnb? I could sleep there. And whilst I drive modern cars in the grey and damp and misty north of England, I can dream of the California sun and those roads
Cars are interesting. No other product has an aftermarket of classic builds. There's not a line for a classic 1959 RCA black and white console television with original rabbit ears. Or a classic 1959 Frigidaire, with original ice trays. No rich people are taking calls on an original Western Electric rotary phone with a custom oversized hand set. I think these investment cars are slipping into the naked emperor/tulip/Enron category with the valuations.
its amazing how simple she is, like it really comes across that barchetta does mean small boat with these, and it really seems to be designed with that in mind, like a simple metal construction over english wheel, shaped kinda like a Canoe, basic gauges, dials, and nothing that doesnt need to be there is in there like purity refined in an automobile, and thanks for keeping the bumpers on, that Pillock that owns James Coburn's has taken the bumpers off and stapled a Fer 1 plate on it like an idiot and to think the BBC paid that guy 23 million quid per year also that rome plate, this isnt the survivor car with the french headlamps and the rome plate still on it that got solid a few years ago is it? as if it is you guys did a nice job with the paint and preserving its look as a geniune 250
The video was great, the car is stunning, but the audio was disappointing. I have a CMC Diecast model of this car in black and red and it is exceptional for a model car. Appropriately beautiful showroom, too!
Worked on one. Never drove it though. I’m fine with that as it was at the time a $11 million car and my insurance probably wouldn’t have covered a mishap.😝
Then stop voting blue and for the EU then, as Cobalt and its mining is doing far more damage to the earth that that thing ever did, and with all the electronics and the like, its basically going to be like living in a radiactive oven and less than a few months ago, the state of california asked people not to turn on their air conditioners as it kept frying the power grid, and the EU is the same way, given the only sustainable way to do it, is being shut down because of health concerns so the best way to deal with this, is synthetic fuels, natural gas and hydrogen, and we're living on 200 plus years of it under the united states hence why the left is making up any excuse to prevent people from using it

It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage!

wow what a beaty! didn't know you could drive with italian plates
You can't legally. You'll eventually be told to change them to the proper California plates! Don't challenge the CHP.
@@sandyhanson6082 its a historic car, and as long as the numbers legal and registered it still counts under show and display laws
