  • When we visit the Amish Farmlands around Lancaster PA we always stay at the Country Acres Campground. The staff is always friendly and helpful. On the weekends they have free passes for the campers to go on a tour of the Amish Farmland where you can get some quilts, Awesome Pretelzs, and hand-made Amish stuff. The tour will take you away from the way too busy touristy area and take you out to the farms.

A lot of sites look a little close together but not extremely tight so it would work

On the main drag in, there are a lot of them side by side. But, further thru the spots get further apart. The spot we're in is nice. Shade for most of the day (they have electric so I don't have to worry about the solar) then they have some sites on the back side when at night it gets very dark due to the dense trees surrounding the spots. It's our go to place when we head out to Lancaster cause it's close to the Amish Farmlands but far enough away from the touristy stuff. The corn field on the backside is an actual Amish farm so it's cool to be camping when they harvest the corn. Cheers Shu!
