Wow, great views coming into LIH. My sister and her hubby spent their honeymoon on Kauai back in 1992 - right when Hurricane Iniki clobbered it with 160 mph winds! Anyhow, the tulips have finally bloomed at the Skagit County Tulip Festival. If you go there, do it on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning around 9:30 or 10. Avoid going on the weekends.
Is that storm where the storm footage form Jurassic Park came from? I seem to remember they were on the island filming when it hit and those storm surge shots you see in the movie were taken then.
Interesting to see Southwest using a much larger and much more technologically advanced 737 to fly a route that Aloha Airlines 737-200s flew 22-25 years ago when I was living in Hawaii.
wow so nice. a night flight. i can be dark but nice to see sometimes when your near land. Epic video! its good to see more full flight videos. This is Amazing. and this full flight video
Hi bryce, do you know is Santo Domingo has a funny stuff there is called "Pepe" 😁😁 also a southwest airline (Freedom One Livery) just came here in San Juan PR.
That's funny you said that. I was literally thinking about this same exact thing yesterday. If they took the current design of the livery, but used these colors instead of blue, yellow, and red. That would be sweet. I'd even be happy with a one off special that was done like that haha.
I don't know because I didn't look. And I am on the road right now and my laptop only does 1080p. So, I can't read the tail number. If you can read the and see what it is, I pay for a year's worth of FR24 data and I could go back and look for you.
I’m going to Hawaii this summer. Southwest was cheaper for inter island but I just couldn’t do it. I absolutely hate their boarding and chose Hawaiian instead.
See, I used to not like their boarding process either, but the more I did it, the more I liked. It's actually my favorite boarding process now. Everyone knows exactly where they need to be and it really helps keep the boarding area clear until each group is called. Plus, I have status on Southwest, so I always get a low A boarding number, which also helps me like it haha.
It's been done this way at HNL for years and years. Because of Hawaii's unique location, A LOT of the planes that fly in are wide bodies. Even domestically, Delta, United, and American fly in a lot of wide bodies. So the terminals are bigger than they appear, because every parking spot is big enough for A330's and 747's. So, the pushes can be quite a long ways. I'm not saying that doesn't mean they couldn't walk, but it does allow them to be pushed faster, as if they were walking they'd be limited to how fast the wing walkers could walk. Anyway, Thanks for watching my friend!
Southwest Airlines in the original desert Gold livery! On a 737 Max 8! ❤❤❤ thanks for sharing! You’re my favorite v-logger!
I'm glad you enjoy the videos my friend! Plenty more on the way!
Glad to see the gold livery coming back. It was always my favorite
Always enjoy the videos where the plane takes off on the reef runway!😊
Wow!wonderful takeoff and landing 👌, stunning views 👌.Enjoy this 👍 👌 video very much, thanks.
It's such a beautiful place and the lighting makes it look even better.
Couldn't have asked for better lighting on this flight!

Great fly! How often do you take your family for vacation?
Well, that depends. This year probably only once in the summer. A lot of the time we also do something in the spring.
I actually like the desert gold livery more than the new heart livery, unless they could make a desert gold for the heart livery as well.

Thanks for another top video. Do you know the destination of that A330 Hawaiian Airlines at the beginning of the video?

Hi skylite have you ever flown KLM
I have once. From AMS-CDG on one of their 737's. So, I haven't flown their long haul product, but I have flown them.
You've spent more time on Herb's airplane than most SWA employees!
I literally have haha.

You love Flying so much. You have infinity money 😂
I wish haha. Believe me, if I had infinity money, I wouldn't be flying around the US every week. I'd be flying all around the world haha.
I definitely loved it thanks 🙏 👍
I'm sitting Row 1 , Seat A in the comment section.
So I guess the wingwalkers are now wingriders??
At Honolulu, yes haha. They (and I mean every airline at HNL) has done it this was for years.
first
