1. There's not a hole in my leggings, it's a piece of dust that disappears throughout the video lmaoo
2. I'm sorry the video is blurry in a few scenes! Sometimes it's hard to keep a handle on the quality when the viewfinder is really far away but I hope it doesn't affect your viewing experience too much.

I'm totally the same. I'm constantly unhauling books. That could be because I'm constantly buying books...
Haha me too I have limited space and see no point of keeping a book even if it's an e book if it was just ok if I dont think I will reread it I get rid of it

Same, I LOVE unhauling books! I don't have much space so I physically can't keep them anyway, but also I love the feeling of passing books onto other people who will read and might love them!

Donate them to a prison. Prisons use libraries as part of ongoing education, which reduces recidivism, but they're underfunded and understaffed. According to Books Behind Bars, most prisons do not allow family and friends to send books into prisons; they must come from a bookstore or publisher. And, unlike traditional libraries, prisons can't hold book sales to raise funds, so they'll keep your ARC in circulation.

Chlo Chill If you are talking about hiding weapons or secret items, the prison system checks everything that comes in and out of the prison heavily. Even personal letters. My uncle is in a prison which allows books to be brought in. As long as the book is checked and the subject is not something like how to escape a prison. No highlighted words or any annotations of any type. And you also must give the prison a two month heads up if you are sending a book.
My brother is in prison and we're not allowed to send him books. We have to go to a book store like Barnes and Noble and have them send it out

What are arcs?
Fiona Passiadou arcs are basically books that are given out by publishers that have not been released yet and may still have changes made to it

Emma our chemical hearts is super problematic and has stalking in it, taking advantage of drunk girls, glamorization of mental illness, referred to the mc that had gone through trauma as a broken girl and the main characters disability was just a complete misrepresentation. Honestly you didnt miss out on anything by unhauling it!

Your collection will grow super fast, believe me. I remember having 20-25 books in late 2015, now I'm nearing the 300+ mark. Once I turn 18 and have a job I'm sure that number will double in a year lmao I have no self control.

I like this video so much! I like that you went outside of your comfort zone (in the sense that you felt stressed looking at the pile of unhauled books). In the end I think that unhauling books is a very good thing to do, it "cleans" our shelves and therefore our minds, a little bit? Love you!

This is an interesting way to do an unhaul! I did an unhaul about a month ago so I don't feel the need to do one again but whenever I do, I will definitely do this challenge!
Thank you for this video, Emma. Not only was it fitting since I'm combing through my books to see which ones to unhaul and save. And seeing your video reminded me of books I need to add to the unhaul.
What you could do with the ARCS is maybe give them to a thrift store like Savers or something. You could also try the library. Some don't mind getting ARCS
Diabolic books are so great! Fast paced, twists and turns, politics and questioning what makes a human/soul

I love this! I need to unhaul a bunch of the books I left at my parents' house when I moved out since they're basically books I didn't like. I just have nobody to give them to because my library doesn't want them and our local used bookstore doesn't want them.
Your struggles are so relatable.
You could donate the ARCs to your local thrift store. They don’t care what kind of books they are. I’ve found ARCs in mine before.

I'm reading through the series, I'm on the second part of book three, and I'm so burnt out with them but I know that if I put them down and pick them back up in future, I will have to reread the first 3 and I'll just be burnt out all over again, so here is to another few months of just powering through D:
I have only read the first 2 books so far, but I just started them this year! I absolutely love them so I'm assuming I'll enjoy the rest of the series even though they take me almost a month each lol. The problem is since they take so long to read I always end up in a reading slump but they are still my favourite adult fantasy books so far. Do you enjoy them or are you pushing yourself through them?
Serena Darking I am thoroughly enjoying them, absolutely, it's just how detailed and vast the world is that overwhelms me. The length of the series isn't an issue, just the amount of characters and world building that there is, but overall I am in LOVE with the series and I can't wait to find out what happens in the rest of it!! Are you enjoying it too?
I'm thinking of borrowing the Game of Throne series as audiobooks from my library. I feel like that's the only way I will ever read them.

You should definitely keep Extraordinary Means! It's such a unique book. It's a contemporary about two teenagers at a tuberculosis sanatorium. It's a really fantastic book!

Unhauling has been one of the best things I’ve done. Proud of you! I would say maybe let people on Twitter know what books you are getting rid of and tell them that they can choose whichever they want and to just pay shipping. Once the ones people wanted are gone, maybe you can donate to the library or some center. Hope something works out though! 😊

Omg, my heart just stopped when you said you're gonna get rid of the limited edition of Lord of Shadows. I'm Brazilian so I couldn't get those editions, you're so lucky!
I get a lot of arcs as well. Something I've started doing is donating my arcs to local teachers that I know because they struggle to keep books in their classroom libraries.

Of course I respect your decision with unhauling books but I just can’t unhaul books when I just know that I will miss out on something great. I don’t think you should unhaul Wild Beauty as I heard it’s absolutely beautiful or Foolish Hearts or The Diabolic. I mean that’s just my personal opinion. But you did pretty good! Pretty much every single book had a good reason! Love your videos!
I recently finished diabolic and the empress and I really enjoyed it! The end of the empress killed me and I don't know what to do about it until I can find out what comes next.
With the ARCs that I have but don't want anymore, I usually will leave them in places around town like the Laundromat or my local ice arena when I go to watch my nephews play hockey. I put a Post-It that says "Free. Please read and enjoy".
I *just* found out about Girls Made of Snow and Glass yesterday and I reeaally want to read it so seeing you unhaul it made my heart hurt

I don’t have as many books as you or the other booktubers, but I couldn’t imagine unhauling any books, even the books that I didn’t enjoy! There aren’t many books that I don’t enjoy, though because I’m easily entertained....but I think that’s because I buy a lot of books that you and other booktubers recommend such as Scythe and Thunderhead by Neil Shusterman. I really like watching unhaul videos, though because you get that fresh feeling after actually doing it. It’s like a new start. Plus, you now have the room for more amazing and new books!! 32 more spaces for you 😍😍
Also, I think you should do a fun contest somehow for a giveaway with all of these books maybe? That would be really fun and different! Anyway, love your videos and I’ll be waiting for another new one soon!! 😊😊

Even though you are getting rid of Extraordinary Means and don't plan on reading it soon I do recommend trying to read it in the future. I read it last fall and loved it so much. It was on of my top books of 2017. So yeah I highly recommend

Does your city have Little Free Libraries? That's where I take arcs I know bookstores won't buy.
You could see about giving the books away to hospitals or homeless shelters. Or go to a bookish event and randomly give them to someone

You should audiobook Holding up the Universe. that one is probably the single book I rec out of all the ones you unhauled... it was a pretty cool premise.
