I want clarification on immigration issues. I came from Ma. but live in Nh. now and hear things I just don't understand and find hard to believe. I have a republican friend and coworker that tells me illegals in Ma are being GIVEN $65/day for food. As far as I know no US citizen is Given lunch money by the government. Certainly not more than I spend on food in a week almost every day. And the ONLY thing an illegal should be given is a ride home. If even legal immigrants are being GIVEN food or a place to live, when our veterans aren't given any. It is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. If anyone is coming in without a job up front, relatives that can support them until established, THEY CAN'T COME IN. Why is there any crisis? if people don't belong send them home, period.
This goes for any state in the union, not just Nh, and Ma. Is that mean? Maybe Stay home and fix your own country. Coming here won't do that. Can we help you fix your own country? I don't know, what's wrong with it.

Complex....we have an open border and a state that gives immigrants free everything....its not complex. I'm all for allowing legal immigration through our current process with requires an application and background check and identification...I'm definitely not OK with the state using our tax dollars to house feed ect...those programs are there to help residents who are citizens not immigrants. I wish these people nothing but the best but it's federal immigration policy and our states policies. We have judges sneaking criminals out the back of court houses to avoid ice...we have the highest level of fugitive immigrants in the entire USA. We have local governments who DONT follow current immigration laws. The cap of time is not the solution. Closing the boarder enforcing current immigration laws and deporting anyone who breaks the law is a solution. Not offering tax funded services to not tax paying non citizens is a solution. It's not complex.

We don't know how many of these people are skilled workers, but there are skilled workers who have left their home countries because of violence, wars, corruption, economic collaspe, cartells etc. We can't assume that all these individuals lack job skills. The issue is, should our Politicians have allowed so many to cross our border, without knowing who these peiple are, why they fled or left their country, could they contribute to this country, did we have the resources to support them, have we already provided for our own needy adequately?
