If you look carefully at the first cutscene where Freddy glitches and collapses, you can see Glamrock Chica looking at Freddy as he begins to glitch and when he falls over you can see her kneeling down beside him which is sweet.

Somebody said this in a different video, but they said “maybe she was worried since Freddy and Chica were the last classics there” or something along the lines of that.
It makes me so sad- they were his best friends. Which makes the whole plot of destroying them all the more heartbreaking.

I love the fact that Freddy is the first person (being?) in the FNAF series who has any concept of occupational Health & Safety. He freaks the fuck out over Gregory being in his torso cos it's not a suitable play area and comments that putting the Fire Escape behind a VIP restriction is a bad idea. Compared that to average FNAF levels of responsibility, such as putting people into highly sensitive springlock suits that'll kill them.

Wow, AI really has advanced far in the FNAF universe: It can even recognize and address massive violations in safety, health and ethics both economical, physical and psychological that the rest of the series' human protagonists conveniently and/or willfully ignored.
Glamrock Freddy would probably short circuit out of sheer bafflement at the setting of literally every other FNAF game with the Fazbear Corp's extreme disdain for safety protocols.

Imagine before the game really started, you were Gregory attending and could interact with the animatronics normally. You'd get to see how they talked with kids and the emotional connections they make with them, as well as being able to see the animatronics personalities. It would make it so much more of a gut punch when dismantling them later on.
I think it's more on Gregory sneaking in instead of attending, otherwise he'll get caught by security. He has to avoid most adults as well since it's not really that normal for a kid wandering on a big place without parents and/or guardians

Dang, I only JUST NOW saw that Chica actually ran pretty far to get to Freddy's side after he blacked out. She watched him lose consciousness and immediately jumped into action. That explains why he's flabbergasted that his friends would try to hurt anyone. It's not just against their programming, but they're genuinely good natured. Just controlled by the wrong hands.

@@edloginfaymanuel7855 Sizzle got the time right, and someone else commented it even before I did in a completely separate reply chain, but look at the top right at 1:33. Chica goes from like 15 feet behind Freddy on one of the risers to right at his side within two seconds. Also, someone pointed out to me earlier this week that Freddy sounds like he’s on the verge of tears when he hears Roxy got run over by a go kart. These are more than machines. They’re sentient.
considering that freddy’s the main vocal, I find it strange that he doesn’t already have a special voice box to do some funky voice effects like autotune, reverb and whatnot.
Maybe to avoid voice cracks while singing? Other than that idk
@@fees_moonshadow I don’t think that electronic voice boxes would have voice cracks like humans do since it is both a piece of technology and not a living human, but also that it would likely be programmed to not have voice cracks in the first place

Maybe when malfunctioning on stage, the voice thing might activate and hurt people with sensitive ears in the crowd. And fazbear entertainment already has enough complaints on its plate. It's probably a safety precaution like vanessa mentioned early on in the game.

Ok for some reason I love map bot, just because it is so funny how it’s the only bot that doesn’t do anything gnegative after jumpscaring you (the security bots summon the other animatronics, obviously the animatronics are bad news, Freddy kills you if you activate one of his jump scares, and Moon, Sun, Music Man, and any other I forgot to mention all kill you after their jump scares to my knowledge). So I think it’s just a funny little bot that was added in to give you some laughs, which i LOVE. :)))

Also, at a certain point in the game Freddy will jump scare you if he reaches zero power. Oh, and while underground in the original pizzeria if spring trap takes control of Freddy he will chase after you and jump scare you

I just noticed that Chica was the first to react to Freddy when he started to actually malfunction and severely break down onstage, that to making her run right after them as he fell down for shutdown. Man, I love this game so much and the details.

The new animatronics are all great, Roxanne is definitely my new favourite, Freddy is not trying to kill you for once, and then Monty and Glamrock Chica exist I guess

To be fair Chica has appeared more then enough times to satisfy her character she’s always on the hunt. Monty was essentially just bonnie’s replacement even freddy was sad about it and is sorta just drag along for the whole game if anything referred to Bonnie

That opening was the most hype thing I have ever seen. It gave me a wicked case of nostalgia for the days when I would binge-watch FNAF SFM videos. XD It's really sad watching these guys go from shiny, clean, and functional to dirty, cracked, and broken over the course of the game, though. And it all happened in the span of 6 hours!
cool how the cutscenes remind us of amateurs animation. Like if they took notes of them. yeah i feel bad for these robots, but i guess it's indirectly the fault of will afton

The starting cutscene where they perform is so sweet and filled with life, it shoes that the animatronics are capable of emotion, they look so happy to perform and then they perform with so much passion, scary but sweet

The way Freddy said “chica loves pizza” was so cute for no reason
fun fact: i don't remember where exactly they're found, but at 5:54, somebody was able to find discarded voice lines that reveal how gregory was really injured. in those voice lines, freddy says he detects blood, and that gregory has a gash on his arm. it's suspected those voice lines were set aside for more "child-friendly" ones to appeal to advertisers more. understandable, but a shame nonetheless, because with context, it makes sense now why freddy was so adamant about taking gregory to a first aid station - he really was injured, and needed help.
That makes sense but now I have a question, how did Gregory get that injury?
I do like that the animatronics have personalities.
Though scary from a story writer perspective, as the whole idea of AI becoming free and sentient is why the Reapers of Mass Effect were created, it is nice to see them be their own person, wholesome from a story writer perspective
But that's the thing, they weren't running amok and freely choosing to chase after Gregory. They were reprogrammed by Vanny. If Freddy is anything to go by, they're all nice by default (at least, in Safe Mode)

That whole AI business with the Reapers in ME3 only came about late during the making of ME3, they spent two whole games building on the idea that Mas Effect fields were creating dark energy like a type of exhaust and that was causing stars to die millions of years sooner. The reapers were originally created to find a solution to the accelerated heat death of the galaxy.

It feels so satisfying that all of this came from a horror clicking and scrolling game to now, a beautifully created free roaming game. It keeps the theme of a good amount of scariness, mystery. We see so many changes in 6 years. It seems so small but yet so big for Scott and for all of us. It was such a thrilling ride to go along in, every game was worth the wait because you can't disagree that spmething like this can't be awesome, scary, and neverendingly mysterious. Yet so many questions unanwered and so many secrets are waiting to be found. Lets not forget we made this possible, we drove Scott and ourselves to great story all played in a game. We are all the greatest superstars!

Freddy: Regular and very peppy with a very calm personality and being a good guardian figure to Gregory
Chica:Very peppy and possibly a little bit of a foodie due to loving pizza and maybe a bit of a slob due to her room
Monty:Hot headed which could explain him throwing stuff in his room after the show.
Roxanne:Very Narcissistic probably due to popularity cause she says; "I bet I'm your favorite" and possible insecurity about a possible being a replacement for ethier bonnie or foxy or another unknown animatronic.

1:23 I'm getting such a kick out of just 5 seconds of animation. Not only is Chica's hand appear to be strumming her guitar appropriately to the music but you can even see her react to Freddy's sudden behavior. There's so much more to these characters than just murderous robots. She even ran up to him after he fell over.

I heard a theory that chica eating trash is a metaphor for rockstars doing drugs. Each animatronic has a metaphor associated with them. Roxxane is self absorbed and careless. And Monty is reckless and destroyed his room. All these are clichés associated with rockstars or celebrites in general. I am unsure about Freddy however and what he is supposed to symbolise.

I think they don't emphasize enough how rad she is. Like, we only get the intro. Someone posted what it looks like when you go to the animatronics' rooms at the beginning of the game and she is ROCKING out and I think if we got to see more of that the juxtaposition with her after-dark trash habit would have hit harder. They probably focused more on the others because Chica is in more games but she was robbed.

I definitely think it would have been interesting if Freddy wasn't the only animatronic helping you.
You either free one or all of the other 4 animatronics gradually and they help you at various stages in the game, allowing time to form a connection to each. However, they are eventually dismantled one by one until it's only you and Freddy again at the end.
Ok great they help you. Who is left to catch you if there all on your side? This is supposed to be a horror game, not dragon all z, where goku befriends every villain he fights.

Being able to interact with some of the other animatronics that makes them more of actual characters is a sentiment I've seen frequently on the comments so this is just my thoughts on how that could be implemented meaningfully.

I think it would also be cool if they had incorporated elements from the other games, such as having some FNAF 4 type jump scares (where you need to listen to determine if an area is safe to enter) and seeing the withered animatronics from FNAF 1 and 2 wondering around the plex. And maybe even earlier hints to blob or the other surprises shown later on.
Edit: I also think it would have been cool that during the Roxy talking to herself part, her eyes occasionally went purple (I thought they did when I watched the scene a second time but it was just her eyeshadow) and showed her having a back and forth conversation with an unknown party

Mini-theory I just thought of after watching that intro sequence again:
Firstly, if you watch when Freddy first starts to glitch out, Chica realizes something is wrong immediately. He gets hacked (which takes four tries, if you go off of his interface) and falls over; Chica is right there. These robots have genuine sentience, and aren't lying to you essentially at all throughout the game. When Freddy says that the gang isn't capable of harming you, he knows that it's true. This is where it gets complicated though. Freddy shuts down, wakes up in his room, and finds Gregory. How in the world did Gregory get inside in the first place, why, and how did nobody notice?
Secondly, I think the animatronics wouldn't attack us if we went into their rooms before midnight. They haven't been told Gregory is still in the building, and probably would just try to help him get out (prior to getting taken over and yeah yeah we all know the rest). Chica for some reason goes completely insane once she's taken out of whatever mode she is in during the daytime. Monty and Roxy stay nearly identical to how they would before. Even though they're trying to attack you, they still have their character. This may imply some sort of "goal set" or something like a terminator being given an objective. Other reason I bring this up is because of the one other animatronic that does not attack us through the game; DJ Music Man. We learn after the boss fight that we've successfully "installed" it, and now he's just jamming out to some tunes. You can walk right up to him, and nothing happen. He doesn't have an order to get you, because you just "installed" him (he also most likely would not be on the main network yet). He hasn't been hacked or anything, and also doesn't have a normal endoskeleton like the rest of the animatronics. The reason he chases you down is because, while hitting the switches, it deactivated the safety protocols, most likely enabling "bouncer mode."
TLDR I think the animatronics are actually sentient, and genuinely behave like they would normally before midnight. Once midnight strikes though, something happens to them (or something stops that side of the program). It may not be them getting hacked, but some kind of switch gets flipped that makes them capable of harming you, while still keeping their character (excluding Chica mostly, for some reason).

I believe they are sentient but they have safety protocols before midnight because of the fact that like a human they have to keep their anger in check but unlike one they have to be forced to because of how deadly they are by their height and weight. Im sure they understand this. They aren't capable of hurting a guest because this is their workplace. They don't wanna essentially be fired and replaced.
I think after midnight vanny hacked them causing them to have a specific as u said "objective" to hunt down Gregory and kill him. I only say this because in their death scenes we can see monty chomping same for roxy. So it's clear vanny wants him GONE.
So they are kinda forced to be in this violent and stalkerish mode until the objective is finished. Maybe this is why they become more irritable as they don't wanna spend their time looking for Gregory they'd rather be in their rooms doing w.e they probably are reacting like a regular human working overtime
Irritated and ready to go home. They are just forced to attack Gregory and hunt him down because of the hack and possibly vanny talked down on roxy probably threatening to scrap her if she doesn't find Gregory and that probably explains why she cries alot. She can't find him and she doesn't wanna be the one to get replaced. This is technically their lives on the line

more funner things to know. is that this place would have never opened cause of blocked exits and locked fire excapes. it violates fire and OSHA codes. ( was Amerex Fire system certified).

You know, the actual true ending (or rather, the merged ending) could be something like: Once Vanessa is freed from Glitchtrap's control, she could help Gregory repair Glamrock Freddy and the other animatronics, then help them defeat Glitchtrap, and then everyone would escape the same way that Gregory and Glamrock Freddy did after defeating Glitchtrap. And then they'd have ice cream together to celebrate, and maybe Vanessa could even adopt Gregory.

Yeah same. I mean the only one we see a lot is Chica because she is just the only animatronic who goes after you in the first few bits of the game. Depending on where you go first tho, Roxy's Raceway or Monty's Golf, you see more of those two i guess. However Roxie goes after you as well in the middle of the game. More than Monty anyways.

A good DLC for this would be changing which Animatronic ends up protecting Gregory. Be it Chica, Monty, or Roxy. Like having Roxy's see through vision right off the bat, but she doesn't have a hiding spot like Freddy does.

Elevator with no railings, oversized vents, Freddy's candle lighter is not marked as such, the pizza kitchen impedes the flow, walk ways are to narrow for evacuation, no evacuation routes are marked, apparently no fire alarm, generators open in the daycare, generators open everywhere, too many blind spots in the security cams, no markings in the trash compactor, oversized trash compactor, no audible signaling of compactor working, catwalks that are both incomplete and lack safety railings, the existence of a button that can cause the catwalks to be destroyed, the raceway contention walls are too low and the material they are made out of cannot absorb the energy of the impact, the race cars don't have governing too prevent excess speed, no safety belts, no helmets in sight, laser tag does not offer proper visual protection, automatic door are not marked, no pad locking of maintenance access, no live wire markings, incorrect signaling of gas, steam, water, etc pipes, outlets are not standard and no sprinkler system

From seeing the franchise go from a good 2D game with small money put into it into a large, open world, 3D, large amounts of money invested, a lot of talking game. In S.B., I miss the "Five Nights" part of the game, but interesting how they put multiple tasks into one night. Idk how to think about this game, especially replacing Bonnie, Scott's first developed animatronic, and Foxy, FNaF's most beloved character with Monty and Roxy. I love the franchise but still having mixed feelings for S.B.

I'm still wondering what threat Freddy detected in the very beginning that caused some error or w/e to shut him down. It happened while he was looking at the crowd, and there's an icon of a child on his HUD.
Ok so the working theory (least as far as I can tell) is that he spotted Vanny in the crowd (place looks PACKED and costumes are common in these sorts of places) and she causes a glitch effect. So perhaps that’s what he spotted

Tbh I feel like it would've made for a really strong, freaky contrast if there was a scene in the intro sequence where Gregory got to do a meet & greet with the animatronics and they were all super nice and friendly to him. It would've made for an excellent turn with the other three trying to kill/kidnap him after he gets locked in, then he runs into Freddy and is terrified only to find that Freddy isn't corrupted.
The fear and shock in Freddy's voice each time he gets a new part is so sad, waking up with a friend's body part suddenly attached must be horrifying
