Imagine making the same music for 20 years. What a boring life. Artists grow just like us, sometimes we grow apart and that's okay. No need to be upset because you don't like them anymore. Just find one of the other bands out there that you do like or better yet, make your own band. If you do, hit me up we can jam.
@@dugger0 or imagine playing the music that brought you the attention and recognition in the first place. I’m all about growing and changing up styles but an entire album of it? There are dozens if not hundreds of bands who kept their original sound throughout their entire catalog, and let’s be honest here. Josh hasn’t been claiming to be bored or interested in different sounds. He is an ego manic who doesn’t think this is any less rocking than their older stuff and is missing the other people who created those timeless albums. This album was boring and not anything super creative or unique. It’s pretentious and lame. Sorry but that’s my opinion and it hurts to even write that considering how much I love their other albums. Ever since he abandoned the three singer technique, the sound has become stale. Dudes turned into a huge tool who wants complete control over what wasn’t ever supposed to be the Josh Homme band
