    Hi Areesa, so I just wanted to understand, the chocolate ganache that you put into the pastry bag to pipe into the cones, do you take that from the bowl of chocolate ganache before you beat up the ganache?

    • @Areesa
      @Areesa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes!

    These look really nice, they would look good as decoration for a cake ;)
    Question : what's the difference between candy melts and compound chocolate ? (I know how they both differ from real chocolate)

    • @Areesa
      @Areesa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The biggest difference is taste and consistency. Candy melts usually don’t have any form of cocoa in them, so they don’t taste like chocolate. They’re also a lot thicker than chocolate when melted. Compound chocolate is much more similar to chocolate, it’s essentially chocolate with the cocoa butter switched out for vegetable oil. Most people don’t notice a taste different between dark compound chocolate and regular chocolate if it’s combined with other flavours...depending on the brand obviously. Hope that helps!

    Great stuff in here! Many thanks. One question ... where do you get that plastic sheet of acetate from? How are you supposed to eat that ? With a fork?

    • @Areesa
      @Areesa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! You can get the acetate sheets from a craft store or on Amazon. You can either eat it like you eat an ice cream cone or crack into it with a fork.
