    though I had some problem with sea water It also th-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

    Hard to understand you and I have my volume turned up all the way.Don't know if your too far away from the microphone or your not talking loud enough or both but it looks like alot of fun hunting on the beach.I live 2.5 to 3 hour's from the beach in Washington State,USA. Hopefully some day I'll go down there with my Garrett AT MAX.Sure be nice to meet someone serious that's into metal detecting and/or coin collecting or both.

    Explain what you’re doing at the beginning. Why are you making those adjustments? Why are you ignoring those tones? Why is it “Not bad at all” all of a sudden?

      The saltwater is causing false readings and he has to reduce the sensitivity. It happens to me at the beach all the time. When a wave comes up and you scan at the wave edge, and wet sand, it will cause false readings and you need to reduce sensitivity until it doesn't lie.

    At approximately the 6 minute mark, the item was a fishing rod guide (the fishing line travels through the guides toward the tip guide).

    💥Great video and I’d really like some help. I just took my Ace 400 out last night for the first time. I brought it to the beach. I had it in Relics mode, the sensitivity was down 2 notches from full.
    It was going well up on the dry sand locating quarters that read in the mid 80’s. But as I walked down the slope to the water it was manageable when the sand up high was fairly wet but as I got down near the incoming waves where the sand was really wet and glistening from the incoming waves it continually read 36-37 and the tone went off every 2-3 seconds everywhere I waved it. I had it about 1 inch (2.5 cm) over the sand. Back up on the dry sand it remained totally quite until I passed over something which was every 30-45 seconds or so. Was I not using the right setting or will this unit not work accurately in the wet sand at the waters edge.??

    • @elk2u457
      @elk2u457 หลายเดือนก่อน

      sea water contains a higher concentration of dissolved salts and minerals, which increases the number of ions available to carry an electric charge. You have to decreaae the sensitivity.

    Hi Friend, I can not see the video, but I want to give you good advice. Zakley with holes on the block where the speakers are installed, the sand gets there then you do not clean it! I also use the Ace 400 i, the metal detector is great! I would like to walk along the sea shore but live far from the sea ... Greetings from Russia! I signed up to you and put Laik! Good luck, come visit!

    how you can stand there and promote something not fit for purpose is beyond me.great machine on land .but for a wet beach its not fit for purpose.you are very clever with your words and the cut and shut video.in wet sand that ace 400i will cry wolf every time.will get more bongs than dings.thumbs down on this review.

      @@DesDunne1 des be real and cut to the chase.how can you balance and tune it ? be honest.lets get one thing right.its a hell of a land machine.but in the wet beach its a different thing..this raise the sensitivity up in one part and lower it down on another part is absolute madness.my only fear and gripe about this video is some poor newbie will spend a chunk of cash on this machine only to find out it dont work on a wet beach.i totally get it that your trying to promote the machine.but at least be honest and test it in its best searching environment.dry land review would have been a much better and honest review.you know as well as anyone its not fit for wet sand beach.best of look on your new reviews .each one i will take with a pinch of salt.pity about that,your a nice guy.just have the blinkers on as not telling the whole truth..
