The mannequins being able to change genders is one I didn't know. That is a game changer for me. I have a wonderful idea for a room in my house. AND the buying screen in Scrooge's shop staying where you are is my favorite change. It used to do it, but then after an update it stopped and was so frustrating to me. I love, love, love this update.
That with the mannequins was an amazing idea! Now my bf and I can just switch easily between our characters. He doesn't really play the game as much as me but he wants to from time to time so it's pretty cool, I can prep some outfits for his character hehe.
Merlins outfit looks like the one he wore at the end of the sword in the stone movie. Surprised ana, stitch, elza or others have not got new outfits yet.
The space between digging holes look different. In my game turning off the music is bugged. I had to move Woodys house to a remote area where I rarely go, to avoid the music. I had to stop all rides to mute them too. I just discovered that on PC right clicking in the bundle store enables you to preview each item included in the bundles. You can even rotate them in 3D manually.
I was pleasantly surprised that when putting the different houses around that the internals were different too. Different house with different internal look and feel all over the valley… LOVE IT!
Here is a negative change …. So when cooking 5 pumpkins into a veggie platter usually you can mash the select button to add all 5 pumpkins quickly but now you have to move the cursor to the pumpkin and re-select it each time you add another pumpkin. So now it takes WAAAY more time to cook. I don’t know if this is the same for all consoles but I’m on Xbox and that’s what is happening to me right now and it sucks!! 😭😭😭 Cooking 600 pumpkins into veggie platters used to take me like 20 minutes now it’s taking me almost an hour 😭😭

I got the pink tree set from premium shop and placed the items in my house. I did not see any blurry leaves or green screen background on the items. They look really nice on the platform I am playing on. I play on the Steam Deck and the graphics are pretty good! Maybe it depends on what device you are playing on and the ability of said device to show the correct quality?
The last tip I found to be the best! It drove me insane to have to keep going back and scrolling through the menu to order all the things! Thanks Gameloft!!! Thanks for all the helpful tips!

I love the new outfits for Scrooge and Merlin I did not notice that. That would be cool if the the shiny gems count, i will have to pay more attention. That is cool about the dress. Awe that would have been nice to have the Mannequins to be placed outside. I love the way they can change to copy your body type. I have not played with the Mannequins yet im focused on the quests right now.
There's a glitch in the Dreamscape with Scar, where after he gives you Night Thorn seeds you can go grab unlimited (as many as your inventory can hold) from Scar's Lounge, nearby the entrance to the Mine. You can't take them back to Dreamlight Valley though...so it sort of acts like the Ratatouille realm with ingredients/meals.
Can we talk about the cooking change? When cooking on switch, instead of staying on the ingredient you added, it resets to the side to choose between the categories. It’s so annoying. No more only pumpkin grilled veggies for me. 😢
I read somewhere that you outfits are from Wall-E quest. The item limit on switch is still the same, the option is there but doesn't work. The game on switch keeps on crashing...so annoying!!
I bought the turning red set and the items look great in my room. Especially love the large Sakura panel with the falling petals. Honestly think people are getting overly picky about such tiny things. I would never have noticed any of this if not for this video.
The Scrooge store thing used to be like that before the last big update so I think that was just a bug that they fixed. It was very annoying and made it a pain to buy stuff so I'm glad they fixed it either way whether it was a bug or a feature they just reverted.
Idk if it’s new or not but they have another buzz light year quest in Bonnie’s room where you have to collect 3 packs of buzz light year playing cards from Bonnie’s books
Playing this on PS4SLIM, I don't have the access to update the item limit BUT we still have the option, we can't just turn it on. So maybe, and just maybe, us with "older platforms" can get it in the future when they know the game wont crash.
I would still buy it TBF. If I like an item enough something minor isn’t gonna stop me. I’m the person who ran around my valley with invisible shoulders (the wintery fancy shirt and bow shoulder was glitched to have no shoulders whenever you combine it with the villainous vibe vest. It has been fixed with the update)
I play on the switch and it seems to have a problem when I purchase something in the store. When I click on an item, it shows a picture on the previous item I bought, i.e.I cannot buy anything new anymore. Does anyone have the same problem? Thank you for the secrets in the update!!
I play on switch and the option to turn extra items on won’t let me at all. I have been playing since December and lost all my progress and items cuz my game would not sync it kept saying game outta sync by 5 days and so on so I reset started all over and last night it did it again! I’m so frustrated with the constant crashing losing all my progress after I just spent what felt like hours designing my valley. I don’t know what to do I just wanna cry!!

When I try to use the mannequins with dresses I customized it will change all BUT the dress. If I am wearing regular clothes it is fine but if I try to change out of a designed dress to a designed dress in the outfit I will get the outfit minus the dress.

Did you figure out if glitch or not for beach set up. We thought so too but it says “the” romantic spot. So specific spot…..( close to pier)…. Where you watched merlin and woman talk. Hope this helps
How do you get back into the Dreamscape after finishing the quest? The planting pumpkins thing sounds great, but wondering how I get my character back into the Dreamscape if I've completed everything?

I then opened it on my switch and it told me "For your information you current platform is not compatible with the extra limit option which was activated on another platform. Please note some instability may be encountered on the current platform.
I love the Merlin outfit. That is his vacation outfit from the end of the movie. My daughter dressed up as vacation Merlin 2 years ago for Halloween and looked awesome! Also I use Xbox 1 and was not able to increase my item limit last night and trying to decorate my valley was so laggy I'm hoping it was my internet that was the problem and not the game.
They have done that a few months ago when people were struggling to load in on Halloween. I think they might send some moonstones over as compensation like they did for that. We'll have to wait and see, though.
Did you see the green bottles? They have emerald slivers in them. I haven't yet figured out what for. They are in water like at the beach. I think eventually you get a whole bunch combined and it makes something.
I noticed that the attraction and arcade sounds are louder than before and I'm hearing in places where I didn't hear them before, like places far enough away from the item that it shouldn't be heard. It's become so annoying that I've had to turn off the copyrighted sounds. I tried turning down the sound for just the music but it's not doing anything, so I think maybe the whole sound thing is a glitch?
so if you go back to the dreamscape you become the charater forgotten and can plant things and water them and grow? You just go back and your the charatcter? when i go back from treehouse, there is nothing there, the portals are gone and there is nothing there excpet empty pedstals? am I missing something? If you have just the castle and the regular base skin and your on the castle you do t have the option to place the base skin unles you conver to base then place castle. You then can place the house but it will be your main house and you can't get the castle to be the main one.
I must completly disagree with you concerning the "Turning Red Furniture (Panda) are extremely beautiful. Their is 2 Pixel of Green in the Window Furniture that you have to be very close to, to be able to see it. The Cherry Blossom trees with their falling Blossom leaft as only two very small leaft that are green. As for the 'Green being to "Green" in the pot looks to me like very "healthy moss" also do to the fact that depending on the time of day, this Color changes when outside. When inside, it just enhances the beauty of this Blossom plant. Nothing is "to much color in a game that needs to have" enhance color to really make an impact of the room you are decorating". Also the Windows of The Turning Red Furniture as a 3D effect that I think is not working properly that I will bring up to the Dev's. When you are in furniture mode & you move around these windows, you can see bigger flower's appear & these are in effect blurry. However when not in furniture mode it does not appear unless you know how to move around the window to make it appead it is only when the big blossom leaft appear that it is blurry. nooooo I have seen the waterfall twice and went to buy it and there was a bug preventing me but it. Did they remove it now from his store? if so I will be seriously pissed
I can’t decorate the inside of the new house that you place down. I go to save and exit and it deletes all the stuff that I put down. Is there something else you have to do?
@@mrStarInSky I think I finally figured it out and I got it working last night. I had to delete them a few times and restart because the glitching still happened but after playing with it more I finally got them to work and I did a bunch of my paths. However now I’m not a fan that all the paths with borders don’t make the same sounds anymore…so like when walking in the stone and brick paths you usually hear the click and clunks of your feet but now all the ones with border just have the same sound as when you are walking on the grass of sand. 😭 I hope they fix that because I like the click and clunk sound of my feet on the brick and stone paths but really love the look of the new border paths.
I bought ultimate on epic games (32 euro) I was indeed able to turn on the item limit and it stayed in my switch game play. But obviously I didn't passed that limit yet so I don't know if it will bug

I tried the sun dress and immediately when I pressed create my game crashed, it rerolled my shop even tho I spent a hour rerolling and when I finally got what I wanted, bought, went outside, moved scrooges shop and then tried it 😢
I started playing on switch and recently started playing on pc and yes the increase works on pc and does show up on the switch also. However, you actually get a warning that it's been set up on another platform and may cause issues when playing on switch. Thank you for all of the information.
Can you play it normally on the switch? I haven't been able to upgrade it on Xbox yet and probably won't since on my switch the game is so freaking laggy since the update and I haven't decorated anything at all since the beginning of the game
@Mina I could only grind for resources and do the star path on my switch. It would crash several times a day before update 4. Now it only crashes 2 times a day when I play on switch and forget about decorating. But now that I'm playing it on my cloud save threw another platform it's so much better and I was actually able to decorate one of the biomes.
i play on the xbox one x and i haven't even increased my item limit but my furniture mode lags so bad outside i can't even decorate. can i report this ?
Did anybody notice the bottles in the water? In tbe beach and lakes... they arw very diffucult to see... and if you see you can fish them... the name is EMERALD BOTTLE 😊 and it will be probably used in some missions because the mission symbol appears

In the shop, if you don't have an item, there's a dot next to the price when you stand in front of it so you know it's new

Do you not have an auto fill option? PC has one - select the recipe and hit auto fill then cook

You are correct about the limit transferring from PC to Switch you just get a warning on load up of the game

If you update the limited items to 6000 on your pc you get a warning on switch when you start it that the game can have bugs and run not smoothly

The Cherry Blossom trees with their falling Blossom leaft as only two very small leaft that are green. As for the 'Green being to "Green" in the pot looks to me like very "healthy moss" also do to the fact that depending on the time of day, this Color changes when outside.
When inside, it just enhances the beauty of this Blossom plant. Nothing is "to much color in a game that needs to have" enhance color to really make an impact of the room you are decorating".
Also the Windows of The Turning Red Furniture as a 3D effect that I think is not working properly that I will bring up to the Dev's. When you are in furniture mode & you move around these windows, you can see bigger flower's appear & these are in effect blurry. However when not in furniture mode it does not appear unless you know how to move around the window to make it appead it is only when the big blossom leaft appear that it is blurry. Not in regular mode.

nooooo I have seen the waterfall twice and went to buy it and there was a bug preventing me but it. Did they remove it now from his store? if so I will be seriously pissed
I can’t decorate the inside of the new house that you place down. I go to save and exit and it deletes all the stuff that I put down. Is there something else you have to do?
@MrStarInSky can you do a video on how to make the paths with borders work properly. I can’t get them to work no matter what I try. 😭

@@mrStarInSky I think I finally figured it out and I got it working last night. I had to delete them a few times and restart because the glitching still happened but after playing with it more I finally got them to work and I did a bunch of my paths.
However now I’m not a fan that all the paths with borders don’t make the same sounds anymore…so like when walking in the stone and brick paths you usually hear the click and clunks of your feet but now all the ones with border just have the same sound as when you are walking on the grass of sand. 😭 I hope they fix that because I like the click and clunk sound of my feet on the brick and stone paths but really love the look of the new border paths.

I bought ultimate on epic games (32 euro) I was indeed able to turn on the item limit and it stayed in my switch game play. But obviously I didn't passed that limit yet so I don't know if it will bug

I tried the sun dress and immediately when I pressed create my game crashed, it rerolled my shop even tho I spent a hour rerolling and when I finally got what I wanted, bought, went outside, moved scrooges shop and then tried it 😢
The increase item limit does not work on switch at all!
When you order items there does not seem to be any monetary limit anymore
I started playing on switch and recently started playing on pc and yes the increase works on pc and does show up on the switch also. However, you actually get a warning that it's been set up on another platform and may cause issues when playing on switch. Thank you for all of the information.
Can you play it normally on the switch? I haven't been able to upgrade it on Xbox yet and probably won't since on my switch the game is so freaking laggy since the update and I haven't decorated anything at all since the beginning of the game
@Mina I could only grind for resources and do the star path on my switch. It would crash several times a day before update 4. Now it only crashes 2 times a day when I play on switch and forget about decorating. But now that I'm playing it on my cloud save threw another platform it's so much better and I was actually able to decorate one of the biomes.

Did anybody notice the bottles in the water? In tbe beach and lakes... they arw very diffucult to see... and if you see you can fish them... the name is EMERALD BOTTLE 😊 and it will be probably used in some missions because the mission symbol appears
