Thanks so much Jen, this whole series has been a complete treat (no pun intended). Speaking of treats, I'll wish you all a Merry Christmas as I wander off to check on the plum pudding, which is entering its 5th hour of a 8 hour steam, it should be ready for dinner this evening.

    Hiya Jen.
Fantastic P-39, absolutely superb! 👏👏👌 And in such a short time, along with the other build and life too! Don't know how you do it!! Really enjoyed following this one and especially loved the regularity of your posts (selfishly on my part!).
Thanks for posting and I'll wish you and yours a very merry Christmas 😊
Have a lovely time and see you soon.
    Best wishes
    Bobby

Splendid p-39 Jen . Well done . I need one in soviet colours . I've got a cooper detail set (cockpit) and a cmk nose gun bay set for the eduard kit . I might have to shoe horn them in to one of these . Have a great Christmas Jen and, same to all your subscribers/ watchers . Thanks for the vids . You're a star. M

No Chestnut. But Eggnog, Boild Custard, and perhaps some Baileys. There are so many choices. The After Eight thins are excellent. Merry Christmas.

Cheers to you too Jen, hope you and yours have a great Christmas! Given the time you took for the build that's a cracking P-39 - it would take ne 6 months to get a nowhere near as nice result! Had just started my Christmas Eve snack when you posted the video - a pre-mixed can of JD & coke and half a tub of KP cheese footballs...!! 😄

A very nicely done P-39, Jen! Talking with fellow model builders of the 48th scale Army stuff, a recurring theme seems to be bad fit of the clear parts (as well as doors) on the Hasegawa and Eduard P-39 kits. In fairness to Eduard, Scalemates says that the Eduard P-39 kit was originally released in 2000, so i think that ranks it as one of Eduard's earlier offerings. Obviously the technology has advanced by leaps and bounds since then. Having said that, when compared to the Arma Hobby offering the Eduard P-39 does look blunt in some places and Porky in general. If it's not an easy build, it deserves the criticism it gets.

Deserves a mirror base with that oil stain, one feels.

MMMmmm Baileys in coffee with after eights!! Never been a fan of the P-39 but now I want to build one. I have a question. Why did the model industry settle on 1/48 scale? I don't know if it's because I'm getting old or what but it just seems a little too small. I wish they would do 1/35 and that way it would be in line with the armer stuff. AND easier for us older people to see what we have built.
